A business that cannot communicate is a business that cannot function. Over the last few months, my wife and I have both submitted online inquiries, emailed, and called NatProps to inquire about a new home. We've never been contacted back via any medium, by any rep from this real estate office. Even worse, at least some of the listed prices on their website are vastly different from the actual asking price. The home we wanted showed on their site for $436K, but was found by a real estate agent friend listed $303K larger at $739K in the realtor's multiple listing service (or MLS as I was just told about). Furthermore, the listing we we've been interested in is now pending a sale, without so much as a courtesy peep by anyone in the office. My family is very disappointed and we'll most likely steer clear of homes posted by this agency for any future listings as I don't believe I can trust what I read from them. read more

Anthony Carroll is very personable when you first contact National Properties, however, you will not be dealing with him. It is his staff that is a problem. Alin and Aimee did my short sale and they seemed to have no idea on how to move ahead when there is a tenant in the house and when the house is in Northern California. Anthony told me they had reps in other counties, but Alin and Aimee said this was not true. Therefore they had no one to show my home. They allowed the tenant to dictate to them the terms of viewing the home. They didn't know what the laws were in this regard and once informed of the laws, did not use them to their (and to my) advantage. They failed to communicate with me in a timely manner. It was a month before they let me know that the tenant refused to return their calls, putting my short sale in jeopardy. It was 4 months before they finally told me they had no reps in El Dorado county to install a lockbox and to show the home. After 4 months of problems, we agreed to call it quits and I lost my home to foreclosure. I can not recommend this company. read more
