It is slightly pricy and slightly far for us but worth it for her to get outside and explore some. They make interesting things they are proud to show you when they get back home and are pretty tired so that's good. They are getting activity and exercise outside. Kids seem friendly enough and counselors are helpful.

He knows all about archery, various ways of fire starting, knife and ax throwing, shelter building, and other things that this camp offers for kids. He wanted to share his knowledge with younger kids. They make you pay the same price as the campers and recruit teens by telling them they will gain leadership experience and job skills and will be partnered with and mentored by adults that run the camp. My son said that all he did was stand around and watch while the campers did their free play and building with wood. There was no training from the adults, no job skills like they said, and they didn't even put him at stations he had expertise in. I emailed and called the camp leaders a couple times early in the week. I though maybe my son was misunderstanding his role there. I though it was impossible that they would just have him stand around. They were unresponsive and the same thing happened each day. He was there for 6 hours a day and maybe helped the kids or an adult do a couple things each day. It was a totally sad waste of time. I felt so bad for him but I made him continue the whole week because we had committed. and I actually thought it might get better. I would NOT recommend Tribal Wisdom for teens. It is not a "leadership school" as the website and organizers state. But the younger campers all seem to love it. I'm sure it's great for 10 and under. .

My daughter tends to be more reserved and takes time to warm up, so I wasn't sure how she would do in a theater arts camp. From day one, Brittnie was so welcoming and accommodating to my daughter. The camp was designed for all different levels of theater experience and for all types of personalities and learning styles. My daughter loved the camp from the start, and she actually got mad at me when I came to pick her up early one day! The camp had a nice variety of activities, including arts and crafts, journaling, and games. Brittnie and Ben did a wonderful job of making the process fun for the kids. There was never any pressure to do the play (on the last day) perfectly. Brittnie encouraged students to use their scripts as needed and she found a way to help each child shine. I felt that the group size was just right. There weren't too many students, so Brittnie got to know each child very well. She invited guests to come in during the week and help with things like voice, breath, and posture. Brittnie also sent a detailed email summarizing the day so we had a good idea of what the kids were working on throughout the camp. After doing one week of theater arts camp, my daughter happily and eagerly signed up for another week later that summer. I highly recommend the theater arts camps with 2B Creative and look forward to having my daughter attend again.

The staff member told me that would be fine as long as we completed the waivers in advance, which we did. We arrived within those 5 minutes, but she was busy with another customer, so we waited a few minutes for her to acknowledge us. Instead of checking us in, she stalled briefly and then told us we had missed the grace period and could not be checked in. This was extremely frustrating because we were physically there within the grace period. I even have map timeline data showing our exact arrival time. Had they not been short-staffed or delayed in assisting us, we would have made it onto the tour without any issue. To make matters worse, we were told that a manager would follow up the next day to reschedule us. That never happened. No call, no email, nothing. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience driven entirely by poor communication and lack of accountability. I would not recommend booking here based on how they handle customers when issues arise.
