Here i was early this year and well although the shop had hype, "It didn't deliver" . The price for what I wanted was 600 and if we didn't finish I come back and pay 200 or 300!? It was a joke! I mean if it was for something with alot of detail or a massive piece I would understand. Yes understand completely! I may not look but I understand Spanish in short. So things I didn't like. .. Not getting greeted by the artist as they past me. Or guys being passive aggressive or just irritated that I was there or that they had to work this day. and in Spanish one said " I'm so tired I hope my appointment s cancel and that he felt lazy" .. The front desk guy was nice and no complaints but his vibe was like Grey to say the least and I did not feel like I was welcome. .. Now why I am taking it this far.. It's not fair from what the artist and the customer agree on and then Changing it mid session. Yes you herd me right. The stencil was on me already. That's what we agreed on and paid for! So Less work for a large price tag. loads of agreement details missing, flat, didn't care of the sensitive spot, and Hurried to finish at the end. The gun felt, looked, sounded cheap. Elías the owner was polite, kind, knowledgeable, friendly, cheerful, and I wish I had paid what I paid to see him. 600 a session and 400 for a 3 inch by 3 inch bc that's what other ppl say they pay for what I've seen. It's not worth coming back. These guys want to 1 up on anyone that comes in for a quick buck. This is my honest review no shade just what I've experienced. read more

So disappointed, I heard many great things about this place from others. I decided to get my first tattoo here. Worst decision. I was not aware that the person who was doing my tattoo was an apprentice, and was not told. I understand that it was not the apprentices fault, it was the business who had the responsibility to let me know. A couple days after, my tattoo faded so much to the point where I had to get it retouched by another artist, only a FEW DAYS AFTER THE FACT. read more

My favorite tattoo shop! Necio always takes care of me and made the process of getting a spinal tattoo/scar cover up so easy. Everyone in the shop is very nice, it's clean, and they do everything to make you feel comfortable as a customer. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone that is looking for a fine line tattoo! They have a bunch of artists that specialize in different work so check them out on instagram. read more

My husband and i came here for their Friday the 13th special, today. We left tremendously pleased, tattoos were exact replicas of the 2"x2" sketches. Everyone there was very kind, professional, and respectful. They made sure we understood the process and communicated the whole time. Their doors opened at 12pm we got there at 11:15am and saw a long line waiting at the door. To my surprise my husband and i were out of there before 3:30pm ( there were 40/45 people ahead of us) 10/10 recommend. Definitely coming back for larger pieces read more

Reached out through FB looking for an artist to do a matching tattoo with my husband. Elias Mora came highly recommended. After looking at the portfolios on the website I chose Jay to do my piece. I was able to book my appointment online, after messaging on FB with Elias (well into the evening, which most shops do NOT do), paid my deposit and was able to get an appointment on a Saturday, the same week. Definitely recommend this place, whether you're looking for a small tattoo, first timer, or an entire sleeve or large mural, these guys are where you want to go! read more

If I want more ink after the style he did on my leg (artistic and freehand) I plan on tracking him down to do it; if I just want another tattoo I'll come back here. Repo does terrific work, as do the other guys. They also do custom drawings and will work with you to get you exactly what you want. "Exactly what you want" does come with a price tag, though. I found the prices reasonable (because I am willing to pay large amounts of money for truly custom work and professionalism) but evidently there are people who think a big piece shouldn't cost more than $50. You pay a lot for what you get, but you get a whole hell of a lot for what you pay. Best shop in Gainesville.

You can't "rent by month" but in 3 month or longer increments. I called and was taken care of like a pro. Yvonne and her husband are beyond friendly, they make you feel like family. Yvonne reminded me of another awesome female business owner... Me. She was extremely helpful and made the process very easy. Once we came in (a few weeks later) she immediately welcomed us and was just as beautiful as I imagined. Her personality shines, and so does her attention to detail. The facility was FAR more than expected. I mean... if I had unlimited money to spend on "wants" I would buy so much stuff for myself or friends/family. I would probably spend way too much there and not regret it. The entire staff is friendly and helpful, but Yvonne is a dream. I love coming in for my weekly city visit to pick up my mail and chat it up with Yvonne. TRIGGER ALERT: Not only can you rent a U-Haul trailer, but you can pick up a Christian shirt or a Trump cup. Luce is amazing at Arte. She gave me my first ear piercings ever, (lobes) and a nose piercing. When I had issues with my nose piercing she gave me advice over direct messaging. When I took it out when I was asleep and it closed up she gave it to me again and was very kind. I'm kind of a wuss and she doesn't judge me. She then gave me a rook piercing in my ear that I was afraid of but I loved it!! Luce is just very good at being gentle. Other people who work here are always kind. Their social media is pretty rad too. They clearly care about their clients!! Definitely give them a chance! read more
