It reminded me of the old school candy store with the little stickers label posted on it. The items look well cared for and wrapped very thoroughly and methodically. I believe lots of the items are fairly priced and not overwhelmingly expensive. I was most impressed with the miniature video game console that sat at the front counter that pre-dated the Atari. What surprise me most about this location is that they had a actual arcade in the back with various games from the 80s like contra, galaxa, pong, Qbert, dig, dug, streetfighter, or Pac-Man, and they even had a racing game. Arrived on time the day of, and set things up as we had discussed. (The reasons for 2 stars). The kids were on the truck playing games and I was sitting in the shade at the picnic table with the other parents and after 2-3 hours Mario approached and said they'll be packing up soon as they have another party after us and could I pay now. I was a little taken aback as I had paid half the total as a deposit for a 4 hour party. So I "asked" him hadn't I scheduled 4 hours? He said no. Now, beginning to get a little perturbed I told him "yes sir, actually I did", and also reminded him I specified the arrival and departure time. He proceeded to argue with me, in front of all the other parents mind you, that I was wrong and they had another party to get to. All I could say was "you need to look at your invoice" after a few minutes he stormed away with the look in his eye of "OK buddy, I'll SHOW you you're wrong". Two minutes later he walked back up to the table and just said "I'll tell the crew we're leaving at 5". No apology or my mistake, you were right. So now I'm wondering just what kind of business is he running here. I entered the truck and saw all the TVs filled, but one of my son's guests playing on her phone... which didn't add up. We had invited the number of guests based on the number of TVs he supplied. So I asked my son to identify his guests and it turned out Mario had brought some kid with him, that had taken up one of the TVs for the whole three hours they had been there (so far). When I politely mentioned to the crew (which was difficult as I was fairly pissed off at that point) that I had guests who weren't able to play and this kid who was not a guest was taking up a TV, they just said "yeah, he knows to get off if someone needs the station"; But did nothing... I had to say to the boy myself: "hey I'm sorry, but I'd like my guests to get to use the game truck that I'm renting" and he did, at that point, (with 25% of the party left) relinquish the TV. I had fed the crew pizza, offered them cake, and (even after all the frustration) sent them off with a tip... Even though I felt I didn't even REALLY get what I had contracted in my opinion. Two stars for showing up on time. Kinda generous, in my opinion, all things considered. I do not recommend. Upon seeing this review, Mario texted my personal cell with the message below. Obviously a class act. You want this guy around your kids? Not me. Reduced review to one star.

There's no premium or laser projection here. No reclining seats, either. So unless you enjoy spending your money on a movie that would look better on your own TV, you'll have to go to either Lakeland or east to the next county to see a properly shown film.

We more than made our moneys worth on this one. I would highly recommend checking out an annual pass because I think if you go maybe three times total it's more worth it to get the pass than a day ticket. The major benefit of LEGOLAND is how many indoor places there are where kids can just play with Legos. Seriously a dream that I just sit on a bench while my kids build and they can be there for hours. I have never found LEGOLAND to be that busy. There are some rides that get upwards of a 30 minute wait, but being that my kids aren't dying for any specific ride we just skipped those. The waterpark is definitely worth it as well to add onto the ticket. It's not huge, but during Florida's really hot season which is almost year-round, it's a great perk to head to the waterpark in the middle of the day. The food options here are quite terrible. The only bar is in the water area. Otherwise you can get wine or beer at quick service restaurants. The quick Service that has slightly healthier options. That's in the area where you build cars has opened again, which is great. However, overall expect the food here to be unhealthy and quite bad. The hours are also pretty short from 10 to 6 on most days, but it is enough to get through pretty much the whole park since it isn't that crowded. Parking is also very close to the park. The workers here aren't super friendly, and the rides aren't that efficient to get on, so even if it looks like a short line, it could be really long, but again at this price that's fine. After a year we were taking a year break from these passes, but I could definitely see us visiting every so often.

Rides malfunction sometimes, sure, but when the rest of the park already feels poorly maintained, it doesn't exactly inspire confidence. And maybe the biggest disappointment: it just didn't feel like LEGO. Instead of that bold, creative, brick-built world, the park gives off more of a "knockoff LEGO" energy. Like the idea is there, but the devs did not execute it properly. Its giving tourist trap vibes... Just save ur hundred dollars and put it towards going to Disney or Universal...
