Response time is prompt about tattoos as long as you're clear about what you want You get to discuss the way the tattoo ought to change and they make live edits on the spot. The venue is clean and they seem to take appropriate sanitary precautions. The first time I got a bashful psyduck from a Korean woman who seemed to understand the sensibility I was going for. I had sent 2 reference photos and neither had a full body but she was able to match it very well. We even had the body adjusted so he looked rounder. The next time I got an Iranian artist who took incredible time with the fine lines although I asked for something quite simplistic. I appreciated his attention to detail. Would return.

I showed my tattoo ideas and she directed me to someone immediately. The artist that helped me was Evan. Very easy-going from the get go, he reviewed my ideas and without wasting a second, went to his desk to work out the details. In about 15 minutes, he came back with great drawings. Once we agreed on everything, it was time to begin. He was very professional every step of the process, checking everything twice before preceeding. Although the tattoos I was getting were simple, I thought that his hand was very light and determined. No jerky moves or hesitation. Within 20 minutes, he was finished with the two tattoos. He wrapped them up nicely and handed me a printout of how to take care of the tattoo. I found the entire process extremely professional and clean. I will definitely be back for other tattoos.

I was given his e-mail address by whoever I booked the appointment with so that I could e-mail him some tentative ideas for what I wanted done. I never got a response from him during the weeks leading up to my appointment, but given that I was a "tattoo-newbie", young and naive, I didn't want to keep e-mailing him to see if he had received my previous messages. Looking back, I obviously should have followed-up with him to make sure he knew what I wanted. Anyways, I trusted that if he was a professional artist like my friend said he was, I wouldn't be disappointed. So I show up for my appointment and wait. And wait some more. Over an hour later, Andres strolls in. I don't even know if he was even aware that he had an appointment. I should have just left then and there, but again, I was young and naive. I asked him if he had received my e-mail with the designs I was mulling over, and no, he didn't. I had to quickly google something on their computer. He gave me a lotus tattoo on my back that was completely unsymmetrical. This was fine until a couple years later I wanted to add a piece around the lotus, but the piece I got around the lotus made it even more obvious that it was completely unsymmetrical. He also over-charged me because he knew it was my first tattoo and that I didn't know what the tattoo actually should have cost. He should be absolutely ashamed of himself for taking advantage of a 20 year old girl who didn't know any better. The tattoo now, 5 years later, is completely dull and shitty looking. I will never come back here.

However, after realizing what little money I had for tattoos, I didn't have the money to finish it until this past October. To my dismay, the artist who created the design was no longer at this shop, so I was destined to find him, as he had done such a great job. So I have been led to TCB. A small place, modest, serious about tattoos. What's not to like? I was glad that my artist relocated to such a cool shop. As before, I admired the quick, skilled handiwork of the artist known as Stuart, although the cost was a little more than the original shop. Totally worth it, and of course, fresh and sterile equipment.

We arrived at the studio for our scheduled appointment to find the doors locked, and checked our emailbs to pull up her Phone number. once we opened the email we saw that 1.5 hours prior to our scheduled appointment lizzie has emailed with Covid concerns. She stated that as I am a paramedic she was uncomfortable doing my tattoo today due to Covid. While we understand and appreciate concerns of safety and want everyone to be comfortable, we felt that these concerns could have been expressed earlier than 1.5 hours prior to the appointment, and we could have gotten rapid tests or rescheduled. As these concerns were not handled in a professional manner we requested a refund for the 150$ deposit and were told we would not get a refund.

I've gotten tattoos here twice and know a handful of people that have gotten tattoos here as well…read more First of all, both times I've been here the receptionist was SO cute and had such a great personality! I don't remember her name however I did remember her pretty red hair! She was very patient with me as I'm very critical when it comes to tattoo sizing, font, etc. After I chose the correct font, sizing, etc. I was ready to get tattooed. Both the tattoos I got done here were done by the same artist. The first time I went I got a word in script on my wrist and wanted some of the colour to be done in pink. The artist didn't have pink ink on hand so was mixing red and white ink to get it to a pink colour while tattooing me and my skin started bleeding a bit and getting irritated by that which I never experienced since I had a previous tattoo there before. It also turned out to be a light pink when I wanted a darker pink. The second time I went here, I went with one of my friends who was also getting a tattoo. This time I got a script quote tattoo on the left side of my chest. The receptionist was once again really nice and patient with me while trying to find the perfect font and size. I got the same artist as last time (I got this tattoo about a week or two after the previous one) which was no problem with me since I really did like his personality and he seemed really genuine. This tattoo went a lot better, didn't feel any pain at all, and had good conversation with the tattoo artist. This is a VERY small tattoo studio, they have very affordable prices so i'd say you get what you pay for. I wouldn't recommend getting any graphic pieces here, all my tattoos are script at the moment so I don't care too much for who does it. I wouldn't recommend this place to get a portrait or any graphic done, come here if you want script done but not anything else. I hope to get my wrist covered up by a professional working at a higher end tattoo studio, my wrist tattoo looks pretty meh.
