Every visit, at least one of us have been cut.... And that's IF they trim cuticles. We'd pay the same price just for them to skip that part entirely on some visits. Basic pedi with an up-charge of $15 for gel and then for a mani they charge $5+ per nail for a simple design (polka dots)... I get that we have to keep the lights on, but guys. Today was the straw: $165 with tip for 2 basic gel pedicures and 1 gel manicure, 2 of those were for children: 12 and 9... and again, one of them was cut (pictured).

Not once did the nail tech or anyone else bring up that they did charge extra for longer nails and those are my preferred type of nail nor on their website did they mention extra charges for length.. me thinking it would only be around $75 because I got a set of acrylics with a French design...I was absolutely blown away when the guy told me $92..I have been a certified nail tech for over 2 years now but occasionally I enjoy getting my nails done by someone else. But never have I been charged $92 for a simple set of nails. Not only did this salon try to change their prices last minute but they also ignore several regulations in place by the board of cosmetology. After pointing out that I am a nail tech and that the nails were simply not worth $92 (they claimed it was expensive because of my length) they lowered it to $86..not a big difference but I definitely don't think I will be going back. My sister's experience was just as bad, she had gotten a set that we both knew would be on the pricier side because of the nail art involved- we loved them..however, 3 days later her polish is pealing...these were not cheap nails so I would hope that they would last..yet another chop shop I will not be going to again.
