We were walking by and this place caught our eye. I don't think I've ever seen a place like this! All based on donations, it's random stuff. But, random stuff that can be turned into art! My creative mind started flowing and ideas were formin' . Most items are reasonably priced. Lots to see, but the store is well organized. Super cool store, check them out!

This review is specifically for the class Art From Scrap offers for children on Thursdays. I took my two girls and could not have been more impressed by Ms. Emma and Ms. Sarah. They prepared a craft that was fun and accessible for both of my young girls, and most importantly they were truly INCREDIBLE guides-- patient, helpful, calm, and receptive. I've worked with young children professionally for over 15 years and was honestly stunned by their presence as facilitators. They made the experience so positive for my girls, and we can't wait to come back!

This is quite an unusual business and the name says it all, "Art from Scrap." Basically, the store sells what most people would throw away in their daily lives, some may refer to it as junk. Items change all the time. On my last visit, there were large bins of wine bottle corks and art history slides, disregarded trophies, scraps of material, etc. I purchased a couple things - sample tiles. Totally cool. I like the fact that they are selling 100% recycled merchandise, so if you purchase anything there, you are also recycling and helping the environment, sort of. The employees are always pleasant and helpful if you have any questions. It is definitely a great place to purchase raw materials for an art project. The prices are reasonable, too.

Absolutely love Art From Scrap!! As an artist It's my go to place for art supplies and funky things I didn't even know I needed until I saw them. I have used brass I found there in my jewelry and driftwood pieces I found there in a sculpture I created! And I can't say enough about how friendly and loving their staff are! Thank you for all that you do to keep schools and artist in our community doing all that we do!!

I am finally getting them into their envelopes and what's this?? The adhesive isn't strong enough, the flaps are lifting! Cue the aforementioned panic. I call Ink Paper Crafts to see if they have washi tape. They do. Tons of it. It's not an ideal solution for my fancy invites but it will have to do. I jump in the car and get there an hour before closing, damp from the rain and -- let's be honest -- probably a little bit of sweat, wedding invite in hand. I'm trying to find a washi tape that will semi-match the vibe and then, like an angel sent from heaven, the owner walks up to me and says "I've got something better for you." She proceeds to introduce me to this magical tape dispenser that absolutely saved the day. And she wouldn't even let me pay her for it!! "My wedding gift to you," she said. I was stunned. It's been so long since I've had this experience shopping. You know how it is -- we're all buying everything on amazon and there's no warmth, no connection. Not only will I be a loyal Ink Paper Craft customer for LIFE but I also feel so motivated to keep shopping small business. This is what it's all about. Thank you to this amazing woman for making my day and helping me remember the most important thing of all -- kindness in key moments can change everything.

Located steps away from State Street and next door to Grassini Winery. You can expect to find gorgeous handmade ceramics, plants, art, decor, dried flowers and more! I ended up purchasing some incense, a beautiful ceramic vase, and a small box of matches with Frida on it. The incense was burning in the store, and the smell was so pleasant. It's charcoal based incense sticks and made with phthalate-free fine fragrance oil. Sourced from Los Angeles. The scent is Piñon and my new favorite. Jared kindly helped me during my visit. He mentioned that they can customize the dried floral arrangements upon request. They had some beautiful ones already made. I was lucky to have met Kevin, who was working on creating more beautiful pieces of handmade ceramics. I can't wait to see what else he made on my next visit. Overall, I'm so happy to see this small business up and running. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Handmade Ceramics (each one a work of art), Art Prints, Woven Baskets, Blankets, Books, Candles of all shapes and sizes, Cards, Garden Supplies, Driftwood pieces, Glassware, and beautiful plants, both Succulents and dried floral arrangements. We found a basket of match books at the register, and realized they are ideal for their offerings of Sage (moving energy out), and Palo Santo (moving energy in). I was instantly drawn to the prints and illustrations by Lady Kady Art of Arizona, and look forward to starting my own collection. And truly a shop with gift ideas for everyone. Was also happy with the reasonable pricing for some incredibly artful items. Located in the El Paseo, and right next to the Grassini Family Vineyards tasting room patio.
