While wandering around State Street on recent visit to SB, we happened upon The Crafter's Library and wow, what an amazing addition to downtown SB! It's billed as a co-working craft space, but it's soooo much more. The space is bright & beautiful, creatively laid out and so much fun to explore. We ended up finding so many cool crafty gifts for our grandkids. I only wish I lived closer to take classes here!

This is a store, but so much more. I've purchased several gifts here, for both kids and adults. I've taken two classes with Silvia, one with Andrew, and one with a community/guest teacher. Every one was great! I learned a lot and was able to get the supplies I needed to do similar projects at home. I've gifted classes to friends, too. They even have classes for kids! I always feel inspired and happy when I leave this store.

Took the paper making class with Andrew. What a lovely experience, this place is a gem. I was glad the class was smaller in size so we were able to get assistance from the instructor.

Let's be honest.... I'm not the kind of guy to fling five stars on a review so easily.... This is why I gave "The Crafters Library " 5 stars Their isn't enough stars a person experiencing this place could give... They say childhood is priceless.. And coming to a class on a Friday I got fond memories of what it was once like to be A curious kid.. Let me give you a little background info on this arts and crafts.... Business It's modeled after a coworking space for those wanting to enhance art skills or to learn them They do so many classes in a week And have monthly memberships You are allowed to use what they have And/or also bring your own It's a very comfortable place with plenty of space One of the best features is just letting your eyes wander Around Taking in the scenery... What artist tend to neglect The power of networking Keep in mind.... Everyone that is here Wants to create.... I worked with my hands during a etching glass class Ladies and gentlemen.. Stick around for this review.... It could be worth your time... wink wink... Andrew was the host of the evening Along with a few others ( please forgive me for not coming forth with names) All the staff on shift Beautiful people... Just think of what it would be like If you grew up and liked all your teachers "The Crafters Library" embodies that The evening was fun... And the room was filled with others Buoyant with smiles, determined to make something Out of nothing..... At times I felt intimidated under my own thoughts We all like to think we are perfect And the evening I stepped in for the etching glass class My perfection became beautifully imperfect I didn't keep up with the rest of my group And for that matter The staff and I became well acquainted.. I tried... applying myself to areas of my brain That became hidden.. even covered up Through adult hood The Crafters library" reminded me of the need to get back in touch with this side Which sort of wandered away... A long lost friend was found I reminisced while working how much I loved art And how well I used to approach it Andrew the evening host/teacher... Reminded us that, laughter, joy, and error Could be all rolled up into a cinnamon bun And enjoyed..... A group of us had 1 task to complete Yet we all approached the given directions differently Some were very neat Others a mistake here and there ( so they thought) Which ended in great conversation and of course a smile The room was filled with adults But while working at task We were kids again Bringing the magical ride to a close Compliments were passed around loosely Even when Individuals didn't believe they did the right thing Looking at my glass I created From the moment of its inception I felt vintage had been born.... This is the perfect place to hold a birthday party A cool, spot for a get to know someone "quality" date Maybe you are getting reacquainted with someone from a long time ago... The Crafters Library Gives the option to not only share a moment in the now Also, a memory for tomorrow... This place is a must, Not an option You have to go!!!! And when you do go I might be there to say hello

I had the privilege of taking a Macrame Feather class here yesterday and it was awesome! Andrew is a great teacher and really makes you feel confident with the project. The whole space is decorated beautifully, honestly a crafter's dream! He also practiced safe distancing with Covid still being a concern. I loved looking at all of the goodies they have for purchase and will definitely be back for myself and to get gifts for others! Plus, there's a really cute pup in the shop named Achilles :)

Attended a great ribbon wreath making workshop. Great set up, super helpful owner/staff, all materials provided with many options. Good value for money and loads of fun. Finished wreath looks great and will carry me from Halloween through New Year.

I am finally getting them into their envelopes and what's this?? The adhesive isn't strong enough, the flaps are lifting! Cue the aforementioned panic. I call Ink Paper Crafts to see if they have washi tape. They do. Tons of it. It's not an ideal solution for my fancy invites but it will have to do. I jump in the car and get there an hour before closing, damp from the rain and -- let's be honest -- probably a little bit of sweat, wedding invite in hand. I'm trying to find a washi tape that will semi-match the vibe and then, like an angel sent from heaven, the owner walks up to me and says "I've got something better for you." She proceeds to introduce me to this magical tape dispenser that absolutely saved the day. And she wouldn't even let me pay her for it!! "My wedding gift to you," she said. I was stunned. It's been so long since I've had this experience shopping. You know how it is -- we're all buying everything on amazon and there's no warmth, no connection. Not only will I be a loyal Ink Paper Craft customer for LIFE but I also feel so motivated to keep shopping small business. This is what it's all about. Thank you to this amazing woman for making my day and helping me remember the most important thing of all -- kindness in key moments can change everything.

Located steps away from State Street and next door to Grassini Winery. You can expect to find gorgeous handmade ceramics, plants, art, decor, dried flowers and more! I ended up purchasing some incense, a beautiful ceramic vase, and a small box of matches with Frida on it. The incense was burning in the store, and the smell was so pleasant. It's charcoal based incense sticks and made with phthalate-free fine fragrance oil. Sourced from Los Angeles. The scent is Piñon and my new favorite. Jared kindly helped me during my visit. He mentioned that they can customize the dried floral arrangements upon request. They had some beautiful ones already made. I was lucky to have met Kevin, who was working on creating more beautiful pieces of handmade ceramics. I can't wait to see what else he made on my next visit. Overall, I'm so happy to see this small business up and running. Looking forward to coming back soon.
