We've been customers of Art Express for well over 20 years now, and have always found their work, quality of materials and customer service to be unparalleled. Anwar, Vladimir and the entire staff there are always super helpful and always seem to bring out the best in the pieces we bring to them, large, medium or small, regardless of what the actual piece cost us to purchase. We recently ran into a problem at home. Whenever we travel, we like to purchase a local artists work from places we visit or enlarge photos we've taken to get them framed and put up on a gallery wall in our dining room. The problem is, or I should say was, that we had run out of space and did not know what to do with a painting we bought in Tuscany, and another we bought in Positano. When we took them in after all these years we learned something new: Art Express makes house calls! Today, they came over to our home, reviewed the wall, our pieces and the two new ones from Italy, and rearranged our wall so that everything fits AT NO COST to us. This is a service that they provide to their customers. And the icing on the cake is that everything now seems to flow beautifully on the wall. Art Express is truly amazing!!! If you've got something to frame or re-frame, you won't go wrong by bringing it to Art Express and letting them take care of it for you. We won't take anything of ours to anyone except Art Express....they are great. read more

Art Express Miami by Anwar - Art Galleries Near Me - Miami, Florida

I needed a frame for a lovely piece we purchased from artist/photographer Pedro Ledesma III. Having previously purchased a frame from Frame Art/Art Express, they were our first choice. Immediately upon entering the store, I was assisted with making a choice. The shop salesperson looked at the piece, asked what my style was and pulled down some sample frames. After carefully choosing the pros and cons of various choices, I made my purchase. She said it would be ready in a about an hour. Having lived in Miami for over 40 years, I was skeptical that it would be ready within the time frame. It ended up being ready before the hour was up. The frame and piece look spectacular. If you want a frame done fast and done right, head to Art Express. read more

I was blown away by this business. I walked in with a picture canvas not really knowing what to expect in terms of the best frame. The person who helped me asked general questions about my style and immediately suggested the frame that I ended up going with. When I asked about other styles I had been entertaining, he showed me different possibilities and it was really clear his suggestion did the best job highlighting the picture. To top it all off, my framed canvas was ready in 1 hr! I was not expecting that at all. The expertise and professionalism of this business was truly impressive! Yes, it is not cheap but also not outrageous for work of this quality. I'll be sure to come back when I'm looking to do custom framing again! read more

I walked in Art Express with a whole bunch of ideas and an iconic print. I wasn't sure what I wanted, but as a creative, I had some ideas. I met Jason, and he made it all come together. I paid for a professional installation, wires hanging from the roof holding the black framed print between glass in front of a glass panel that lead to the outside of my home. Exact inches, the light, the angle was all very important, and Jason made it all happen. This is a great store, and they understand the crazy ideas of their customers. I will be working with Art Express in the near future to bring some other projects to life. read more

Great pictures place and great prices. Very helpful was able to find exactly what I was looking for.

I use this location for professional framing. I have always dealt with Carlos and he is Wonderful. This time we were helped by someone else. I asked for framing recommendations and the guy went all out. Add a double frame, add a board in this color and then He gave us a price- OUCH. So I asked for what I wanted and price came down by half. We had it framed and it turned out great. I will return, but it is because of Carlos, he really is a talented artist. Make sure you ask for him. read more

Amazing job!!!! We worked with Abbott and Wilbur on adding framed wall mirrors to our Bal Harbour condo. We had an idea on what we wanted and had the guys come over to see what other ideas they recommended. Their ideas were fantastic. They explained why our original idea wouldn't look as nice. They suggested that doing it their way would fade right into the wall and not stand out. Wow...they were right. It took about a week to frame the mirrors and it took about an hour for them to install them in the condo. Their work was first class all the way. They may be more expensive than other places, but you get what you pay for with Art Express! I highly recommend them. read more

During our time there, we stayed in our Condominium and we enjoyed the framed artwork that we had bought from Anwar. It was really an enjoyable experience to be able to see them during our visit and to know that it enriches our home with that tranquil and rich history it transforms our home. read more

My first time ever having anything custom framed and I was very pleased. I had 2 small paintings that I bought in Rome and the person at the store helped me pick my frames; 2 gorgeous frames that match & look stupendous with my paintings. The service was super fast, they were ready the same day I brought them in. The price was excellent for custom made frames. They are extremely professional, and are very well sealed in the back with a strong string (?) to hang them in the wall. I was almost gonna buy a ready made frame at michael's but it was very difficult finding the right size and color and price-- I saw 2 for $49.99 each and they do not compare to my custom made ones. I ended up spending about the same but mine were specially designed for me. I love art and they did a fabulous job on my frames so I can show them off. I would definitely come again next time I have framing needs :-) read more

I've always seen this spot and I've always been intrigued by the celebrity clientele pictures displayed in the front windows. I went to Michaels to get my Macklemore signed poster framed, and the starting price was $160, this did not include matting, etc. It would also take a week or so to get the poster. This price also reflected a fictitious 50% discount. I said no way! And went across the street to Art Express. I was greeted by Giorjennette, who was very nice and gave me several options and a great price to frame my little gem. I didn't even try to bring down the price. Overall, great experience and the best part... 30 minute framing. I will definitely come back for all my framing needs. read more

Shopped around a few framing stores and was getting ridiculously overpriced quotes. Called Art Express from the parking lot of a store I had just walked out of, explained that I had oddly sized posters that needed basic framing, and Abbot (very knowledgeable) quoted me an awesome price range right over the phone aware of what I wanted without even seeing the posters. Sure enough when I arrived, he had already notified everyone in the store of what he had quoted me and they worked with me and my oddly shaped posters to get the job done for half the price everywhere else was trying to charge me. Not only that, they offered to deliver and hang it which was bundled in to the price. Don't bother going anywhere else in town if you want good quality framing and a genuine staff that is willing to help. read more

I called Art Express while I was in Michaels framing two large pieces of art. The people at Michaels didn't appear knowledgable at all and were charging me $987!!! Both canvas paintings cost less than that... how can it cost so much just to stretch them out? Also, they told me I had to buy a frame with the paintings (which I didn't want) to get the 50% off discount which still have a pricetag of $879. To make things worse, it would take 10-14 business days to finish! Luckily, while they were taking their time at Michaels, I called Art Express and talked to Vladimir. He told me that it was a ripoff and they would charge only $125 per painting. I quickly drove to Art Express to see if it was true... And it was! They charged me the $125 per painting and the art framing was ready in 48 hours. Do not hesitate taking your pictures and art to them for framing... They were great! read more

After getting a quote at Michaels to frame my 26"x26" Itzchack Tarkay print for almost $600 I decided to check out art express to compare. It was the best decision I could have made!! I ended up paying less than $200 for my custom frame and left 110% happy :) Giorjenette was an abustle pleasure to work with. She walked us through all the options she could offer to get us as close to the original frame option we had liked at michaels while still complementing the print and it came out amazing. I easily see why the store has been open for as long as it has. Every employee is great at their job and the prices cannot be beat. Thank you art express, you guys are awesome!! read more

I'm fairly new to having things custom framed, but I have now had two excellent experiences at Art Express. The first time I went they did an excellent job with my college diplomas at a great price. After one frame broke during our move, they took it and made it as good as new for a minimal cost. We also brought along a picture that my girlfriend wanted framed, and Art Express out did every bit of service Michael's gave her: they were more knowledgable, gave us a higher quality frame, for a better price, and had it ready by 5 pm the SAME DAY. I'll be coming back here for the best service at the best price. read more

My Father has been coming here for over 20 years and now that i moved back to Miami, i revisited Art expresss and met with Mr. Abot to review options for Silk picture rug my father had given us. Before visiting Abot i had appraised art frame from 4 other shops, and let me tell you im 100% satisfied and grateful for the dedication and commitment Art Express Miami provided us with. The other art shops on bird road and some on coral way were artistcally far away from any experience that Abot had and the cost was similar, yet their frame material was cheaper and looked more mundane. The moment Mr. Abot saw this rug, he knew exactly how to make a vintage frame (rustic italian wood on silver frame edges in the backdrop of rug hung on all wood (instead of cheaper cradboard or alternative backfrop). Previous shops wanted wood frame on backdrop of cancas or cheaper looking material...Not Mr Abot- Let me tell you the work he did really brought out the best parts of this vintage silk rug and we will cherish this family piece for many many years to come. Best of all, this piece after done on time (3-4 days work) Was personally delivered and hung by Abot (weighed +100 pounds frame) on our wall which was impressive. I never thought I would write such a positive review about her frame place but it made all of the difference and we enjoyed this piece each and every day we see it. Thank you Art express Miami. Amazing job well done beyond expectations!!! read more

I went to several places in search of a framed vanity mirror. I could not find anything to fit what I was looking for. A yelp search, lead me to Art Express Miami. I took a piece of art from Costa Rica to get framed and whoever worked on it ruined the piece of art. When I called them out on it they said it was like that. I didn't get paid for this, and is a reaI story. I don't get starstruck by anybody. And I don't get fooled by appearances. But, if you are lucky enough to be received, and advised by, Anwar, that "Mickey Rourke" meets "Rambo" meets "Fabio" meets "Most Interesting Man in the World" facade will end up being something totally unexpected. Don't mind the endless pics on the wall with more stars names than a Hollywood Addiction Rehab Clinic. Our experience was near surreal, we were expecting Candid Camera guys coming out of nowhere and have a good laugh. We went to his shop for just a simple mirror to finish out bathroom renovation. And we ended up with the experience of a lifetime! In less than 10 minutes at the shop, Anwar commanded ( yes, commanded, and its hard to say no to this guy) lets go to your house, got two of his associates and jumped into the shop truck with mirrors and frame samples, with my wife were like, wait, wait, we just want one simple mirror, we are not rich!!!. He went, lets go!! When we arrived to our house, we were kinda scared, we said, he must believe we are millionaires or something, we are simple, middle class West Kendall suburbanites. Anwar jumped out of the truck, and walked into the house inspecting every wall like Indiana Jones looking for archaeological rests. With my wife we were thinking, My God, whats going on!!!... And that's when the magic began. He gave us an masterful Art and Interior Design Class for free, He explained, and advised us, about every single detail of why the mirror have to be this big, tilted at this angle, with a frame of this color, how to combine colors, etc, etc. To make a long history short, we ended up with three amazing masterpieces, that brought life to our bedroom and bathrooms like we never even imagined, and we didn't ended up being broke!! He will recommend the best for you, without trying to sell you unnecessary objects. He will deliver in an amazing (atypical for Miami), timely manner, his custom made masterpieces, and install them like if it was the Museum of Louvre by his skilled associates (by the way, thank you guys, you were amazing, too!). Just one word of advice..don't even try to contradict this guy about taste, colors, shapes, he will just put your arguments to shame with just simple common sense. He will make your habitat come to life in such an exquisite way, without seeming a Marimba Narc's 80's Miami House. Pure, amazing, exquisite taste, with outstanding craftsmanship and attention to the detail. And at the end, he will say goodbye with a hug, like you were a good old friend. Finally, Anwar, you showed my wife, and myself, that at the end, you are a an old fashioned, good, honest guy. And that, for us, means everything. P.S.: Yes, Anwar, you were absolutely right, our house is finally "alive"!. read more

Art Express is awesome! I decided to give them a try after reading other Yelpers' reviews, and I was NOT disappointed. Because I had 2 large posters framed they came out and installed them for me. I have never encountered such communicative, reliable, competent, and friendly workers! They were more than willing to help me move a very large mirror from one wall to another, and made some suggestions about what could be done to the other very bare walls in my apartment. They also helped me with a few other smaller pieces even though they didn't frame them. Unheard of! I will definitely be using them to finish off the rest of my apartment. If you're looking for someone friendly, not pushy, and very knowledgeable I highly recommend working with Jaysen. read more
