I originally hired Art to install a Tesla Wall Charger in the garage for my Model 3. He also took the time to answer my questions and explained how the technology works. First off let me start off by saying. I reviewed the local contractors in the Riverside area for electrical work. After researching and reading reviews, I decided to give Art Electrical Construction a call. I spoke to Art and explained what I was trying to do at my Mothers residence, which was simply moving a porch light to a new location or replacing the current light with a flat light in the same space as the old one. Art gave me a date that he could come to my Mothers home and review the situation at hand. Our original conversation was on 1/26/21. Our Appointment was to be on 1/30/21, in the afternoon hours. Art wanted me to text him my Mothers address which I did. Saturday morning I called my brother to inquire if Art has shown up on Friday, 1/30/21. He informed me that no no one showed up. I followed up with a call and text to Art on Saturday 1/31/21. My call went to voicemail and my text went unanswered. I called again on 2/1/21, and like before my call went right to voicemail. I asked Art to call me to let me know what was going on? I also told him if he was not interested in doing this job just let me know so I could call another electrical co. He never called me back from any of the calls or text messages. I decided to call another electrician in the Riverside area called Dash Electric. David came out the same day he had to find a light that would work in the current location and he returned the following day and installed the light. As far as recommending Art Electrical Construction based on my experience the answer would be no. Today is 2/9/21 and I am still waiting for a return phone call or text which I have not got. Well, I selected this electrician based on his Yelp reviews. My 83 year mom called him because part of her house haa no power including the heater and AC. She texted him her info. He said he will be there at 11am. Well, he did not show up or even call. My mom texted him around 3pm and he said he is running late, you think. So, we had to find someone else. I called 10 electricians the day before the super bowl they had a million excuses they didn't have the proper ladder the proper help they needed it was just lie after lie some wanted to charge me double or triple because off my high ceilings but luckily I found art he answered my concerns he came out same day saw what he needed he got the job done quickly professionally by himself to add and he didn't make a big mess he did such a good job that I immediately asked him to add another plug in my bathroom which he did promptly once he added the plug in my bathroom I ask him to help me adjust some shelves the next morning I woke up and I need a few TVs to be put up and I needed other work to be done also I don't even call my original handyman I called art if you need a great electrician who's not going to try to rob you call art he gets the job done with quality and care in 2 days I called him back 3 times because I just started finding stuff to be done once you get a good guy you don't want to let him go. read more

Called several electricians and Art was one of the few that did not charge a "troubleshooting" fee. Explained to him what my issue was and he troubleshooted right over the phone. Later that evening he came by and concluded exactly what he told me over the phone. He stopped by on the weekend (my availability) and in less than a couple hours he installed a 30 amp breaker on my panel and a 30 amp outlet to power a 15amp miter saw and 12 amp shop vac simultaneously and it worked flawlessly.
