My friends at Electric Avenue (Prius experts) recommended Arroyo Auto. Jennifer scheduled a convenient appointment. Mr. Ohan quickly provided an expert assessment with total cost (with only my basic insurance) I would pay by myself. Enterprise Auto Mr. Balazs competitively rented a new car. Everything met or exceeded expectations. Thank you very much for the enjoyable experience. read more

I brought my 2020 INFINTI SUV in to get my grill checked out, very nice guy helped me (Ohan) and he fixed right up! I came in by a recommendation as well, and sure enough, I left a very happy person! Ohan was very professional! 10 out of 10 being the best! Oh! I met the young gal who took care of me inside was supper nice as well! I forgot her name (sorry) If something needs to be done on my car you bet I'm coming back here! Thank You! read more

So, I found myself back at Arroyo Auto again. Had used their service in 2022. I again was very pleased with the service here. Now under new management with Ohannes being in charge. I was still very happy with the results of my car in the end. Only one thing was an issue and that was not caused by Arroyo's. Towards the end of the repairs Ohannes was not happy with the paint job and wanted to correct it. This caused my car to be with the a little longer. As you may know, Insurance Companies could care less about that. However, this caused me to have to pay more on the car rental as I ended up having the rental for 32 days instead of the 30 that they paid for. Ugh. Again, I had a good experience with Arroyo and extremely pleased with the professionalism of the work performed and customer service. I hope I won't have to see you again! LOL read more

I was referred to this place by Mike of Electric Avenue. Really pleased with the referral. I never write reviews and I was so happy with Ohan's service, and the results. My car looked brand new after they were done with the service, and Ohan was happy to assist and reassure me every step of the way. Easy recommendation. read more

Arroyo Auto - after Arroyo's repair - Body Shops Near Me - North Hollywood, California

I took my Prius here by recommendation of another shop that didn't handle the specific issue I was having. I kept smelling mold in my car and couldn't figure out why. I was able to figure out water was getting into the vehicle but I wasn't sure how. I told Ohan I believed there was black mold somewhere in the car. He said that was unlikely as it takes black mold a long time to form. I had been experiencing this issue for a couple months at that point and it felt like a red flag for him to be dismissive but, I was desperate to get this issue resolved. Ohan and his team did a water test for $250 and was able to determine where the water was coming in from. When they took the car apart, they found that there was indeed significant black mold in one area. They had a detailing team come to the shop to try to remove the mold smell from the car. Ohan also did some type of deodorizing bomb in the car in attempt to fully remove the smell. He also told me no interior parts of car affected by the water and mold needed to be replaced. When I went to pick up the car, the smell from the deodorizing bomb was so overwhelming but Ohan assured me that there was no mold smell before he did the bomb which didn't make sense to me, why do the bomb if it was already resolved? Despite his reassurance, I could still smell some mold. He told me to wait a week or two for the deodorizer smell to go away and then everything should be fine. I foolishly trusted him and drove my car home. The smell from the bomb was so overwhelming that it made me sick on the drive home from his shop. I called back the next day to ask what the name of the bomb was and his receptionist Jennifer said she would have Ohan call me back. He never did. I waited for a couple weeks and it was obvious the mold smell was still there. I called ahead and Jennifer told me to bring the car in and that Ohan would look at it. As soon as I pulled in, Ohan drove away. Jennifer said he was probably just parking that car and he would be right back. However, he didn't come back right away. Once he did come back, he went on to another issue. I'm not sure if he and Jennifer have significant communication issues or what but it felt like he was trying to avoid me. Both he and Jennifer agreed there was still a mold smell. Ohan's suggestions at that point were to 1). Sell my car or 2). Try another deodorizer bomb. I was appalled he suggested selling my car to "fix" the issue. That is not a possibility for me at this time. He also said he would order another deodorizer bomb and call me in a few days. He never did. Another issue is that when I left, my left rear turn signal was blinking fast. I figured the bulb probably needed replaced. I went and got a new bulb but the issue wasn't fixed. I even swapped the bulb from the working taillight to make sure it wasn't just a bad bulb but still, it wasn't working. I called Ohan to tell him this and he told me I probably just had bought the wrong bulb. I ended up taking it to a different shop because I had no faith Ohan would be accountable and fix the issue. Turns out, the bulb wasn't properly plugged in! Are you kidding me?! At no point did he apologize for any of the things he did wrong because I don't think he believes he did anything wrong whatsoever. It seems like he felt he was doing me a favor by taking on this issue with my car that he had never dealt with before. 2 months later, I can still smell mold. I have to find a mold specialist and remediator now. I have a feeling certain parts of interior actually needed to be replaced and not just detailed. Instead of wasting my time, I wish Ohan would've just been honest with me and said this was out of his area of expertise. It has taken so much of my time, effort and energy trying to get this issue resolved. Not to mention the potential health issues from the mold which I have to get tested for now. Edit: In response to the owner's review, I misspoke about the $250 water test, my insurance did cover that. What I paid was closer to $300 which was for the part that needed replaced + labor. Otherwise, as you can see, he does not apologize or acknowledge the errors or massive inconvenience which only shows his character. He just wants to be "right." As a business owner myself, this is no way to handle a customer grievance. Luckily, this is Los Angeles and there are hundreds of other auto shops to choose from than this one. read more

I wanted to get my 1970 911 Targa painted and was referred to Arroyo by the owner of my Porsche repair shop. Work involved a full glass-out bare metal respray in the original color as well as some light rust repair. All of this was handled with expert craftsmanship and a fine eye for detail. The car is now flawless with laser straight panels and a finish that looks like you can dip your hand into. The work was not rushed and great care was taken to deliver a result beyond my expectations. Considering the amount of labor involved the price paid was very fair and given the value of the vehicle now it was worth the investment. I would recommend Arroyo without hesitation. read more

Arroyo Auto - 1970 Porsche Targa finished project! - Body Shops Near Me - North Hollywood, California

I've worked with Ohan and Arroyo 3 times in the last few years to fix damage from being rear-ended. It was consistently extremely pro-work but more importantly excellent communication with me and the insurance companies - keeping me updated every step of the way with a friendly willingness to answer questions, explain and work with me when needed. They were pros at dealing with the insurance companies and each time was a seamless experience. Thanks Ohan! read more

We needed one front fender and the front grille and bumper replaced for our Toyota Camry. From beginning to completion working with Arroyo Auto was a pleasure. The estimate and explanation of the work that had to be done was thorough. The timeline for completion was accurate. And the work itself was perfect. The total price for the work was a bit less than the estimate because one part did not have to be replaced. And the people were great to work with. I would give this experience an 11 out of 10. read more

I had a great experience with Arroyo Auto. Ohan handled everything from start to finish and was transparent throughout the whole process, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. They replaced the door skin on my car and repainted it, and I was honestly hesitant at first because the car is still new and I was worried you might be able to tell the painted panel apart from the OEM paint. It came out absolutely perfect. You genuinely cannot tell the difference at all. The paint match is spot on and after the polish the car looks exactly like it did the day I picked it up from the dealer. Super happy with the quality of the work and the attention to detail. I would definitely recommend Arroyo Auto and Ohan. read more

Wow! What an amazing shop! Full car restoration with a friendly staff. I had some parts quickly repaired beyond my knowledge. I'm definitely coming back and recommending to all my car friends. Thank you again! read more

I have been to many Bodyshops throughout the years, never have I seen this kind of service and quality work! I came here on referral from my mechanic, and Ohan was able to immediately diagnose and solve my issue. These guys are total pros, and they will be my first call for any upcoming body work. Highly recommend Arroyo Auto! read more

I had a wonderful experience at Arroyo! I took my 2016 BMW 435i to replace a broken windshield and dented rear bumper. Ohan was very helpful and made sure to show me all my options, depending on what I was able to spend. They are very honest and do high quality work for a reasonable price. They were also able to get it done in only a few days. I am thrilled with how my car came out. Hopefully I won't be needing any body work done anytime soon, but if so, I will absolutely be coming back to Arroyo. read more

The work was great! The service was exceptional and one of the signs I look for is how busy the business actually is. Yes they were extremely busy but very accommodating. They were able to return my vehicle to me in less than a week looking like new! Great women ownership. (I found that out afterwards) however that had nothing to do with my decision. It just made me think that there really are mot too many women owned and operated body shops that I had heard about. I highly recommend them. I worked with Mirabel. She was great. Good luck, Linda Cohen read more

I took my car to Arroyo after my mechanic recommended them. Maribel Juarez was fantastic and they did a great job color matching. Their attention to detail on the ancillary parts that needed replacing/refinishing was exceptional. They also dealt directly with the insurance company promptly. The job took longer than I wanted but that was due to the insurance company taking their time approving the supplement. I can't complain about the work; good work takes the time it takes. I hope I never get into another accident, but if I do, I'm going to Arroyo! read more

Stay away from this shop! At first, they made me feel like royalty, Maribel WAS very nice and they did good work on the repair. I was told I had a warranty on the repairs and that gave me false peace of mind. After about two months I started hearing a rattling noise coming from the wheel/side the repair was made. I have been completely ignored by Maribel, I've called several times and gone twice to see if they can take a look at the car and the only excuse she has given is that they don't have a mechanic. I finally had to take the car to a mechanic and pay for something this shop should've taken care of. This review is not about the work of the repair, is about the way the ignored me when I needed to take the car back. read more

Over the years, Maribel and the crew have repaired several of my cars. Their quality of work is exceptional and I can't recommend them enough. They make working with confrontational insurance companies a breeze, and they always deliver what they promise. Proud to support these women and their growing business, thanks again! read more
