Spoke with Paul, very friendly and came out to look at the leak. He did a water test on the roof and determined where the leak was coming from. The best part, he sent me pictures once he found the leak and once the work was completed on my house. This is a big plus since I live out of state now. He also noticed that my roof showed signs of hail damage. So, after going through my insurance company to get roof replaced I used Robinson Roofing & Construction for a quote. The pricing for the replacement roof was very reasonable. Paul even recommended a little darker color roof to match the house better. The great thing was that Paul sent me pictures throughout the whole process. I couldn't be happier and if you need a roof repair or replacement this is the company to use!!

The invoice was higher than the quote. When I asked why, they said they had to replace a rotten piece of roof decking. When I asked how there could be a rotten roof decking sheet under a new roof they had no answer for me. Either my new 50 year warranty roof is leaking or they put shingles over rotten decking to begin with. Best part... they keep telling me they'll come out and see what the problem is but they don't. Norton's put in our roof and gutters last summer, and they installed a faulty downspout on our…read moregutter that had a 3/4" gap in the back. When we received heavy rains, water gushed through this gap towards our house. Water got into our interior wall and under the wood floors, causing thousands of dollars of damage. I had them come take a look at the gutter, and they agreed that it was poorly installed and damaged. Bryan from Norton's told me numerous times that he would get our floor fixed. Well, he was lying to my face and did not try to help us out. Norton's spent the next month avoiding my questions about fixing my floor, and finally Beau Norton called me and told me they would not pay for damages and that there was never a problem with my gutter (which he never looked at). He interrupted every sentence I tried to say and was unbelievably rude. I only gave them 1 star because I could not give 0 stars. Norton's did poor work and then made it worse by being jerks. Find someone else to do your roof.

I am incredibly disappointed in the lack of communication, expectation for me to eat costs after agreeing to an increase in price twice (I didn't argue.), this is negatively impacting my income, and I still have no roof installed. I signed a contract for a roof replacement on 3/25. Since then there have been two additional cost increases to the contract due to missing materials, and incorrect measurement of the size of the roof. Multiple specific requests to be notified of when the install date is have gone unanswered. I work from home and will be unable to schedule clients for that date, so need to know in advance. I have been incredibly clear that this is important and I need a specific date. Yesterday I was informed the roof above the front door could not be installed because of the condition under the metal roof. This may void my homeowners insurance for future claims on that section of the roof and is not at all what was agreed on in the contract. They offered to repair the metal roof flashing, and leave the hail damaged metal. Additionally I was told that I would not be receiving a refund on the materials for this portion of the project because the company has had to "eat costs" on my project. Still don't have confirmation on an install date other than "Maybe Monday or Tuesday."
