We live on 2 acres with many mature Live Oak trees, scrub oaks, and a lot of Manzanita bushes. It was past time to create defensible space around our home and property. Crews from Arrow Fire, aka Arizona Defensible Space have done considerable work in our area and they came highly recommended. Andrew came out to our home initially and began by defining just what "defensible space" actually refers to. He walked the property with me and pointed out his recommendations. We agreed to have Andrew's crew of three come out for two days. These guys work together like a well-oiled machine. They're all Wildland Firefighters, and they are experts at this work. And believe me, this IS VERY HARD WORK. Having the work performed was necessary to protect our investment, and we highly recommend Arrow Fire/Arizona Defensible Space. read more

Andrew and the whole crew were great! They are wildland firefighters, so they know what they're doing, are hard-working, and are very friendly and professional. Andrew was very communicative. Our 1/4 acre lot a few miles from downtown Prescott looks great, and we're now firewise! read more

I can't sing praises for this company loud enough. We have 3 acres of somewhat hilly and really over grown land that is now at Firesafe standards thanks to Arrow. Things that impressed me: 1. They were really interested in what I wanted. They didn't just come in and raze the lot. They asked if there were any particular plants I wanted to save or were concerned about. 2. They used a mosaic approach with cleared pathways and islands of growth that gave the lot a park like appearance 3. Their work ethic is incredible. Short breaks. Short lunch. Really hard workers who can take pride in their work. 4. They went above and beyond my expectations, even cleaning out a pack rat nest. 5. They did a good job of cleaning up each of the 3 days they worked in our job. 6. Ok. I confess, they are hunks, like most firefighters. But husbands should not hold that against them. So yes, I would definitely recommend Arrow. read more

Bobby worked within my budget to get as much done as possible without breaking the bank. Great job by the crew. Everything was done as quoted and the crew cleaned everything up. The yard looks so much nicer! Appreciate the hard work guys! read more

Very efficient and it is a huge plus that they are all wildland firefighters! They know their job and helped us to protect our home.

If you want professionals who know their job and how to do it efficiently - then look no further than Arrow. We just had them do our Firewise service and compared to what we had last year from another company - well there IS no comparison - we got ripped off last year!! We will most assuredly use Arrow from here on out for any yard,Firewise service needs. On time and courteous and reasonably priced, based on what we paid last year for next to NOTHING and what we got from Arrow this year. Our half acre lot never looked better manicured for defensible space. The crew of 10 came in and had the place whipped into shape, everything chipped and cleaned up in just about 3 hours. I will not hesitate to call on them again! read more

THE BEST. All the guys are efficient and they complete a job timely. When they've finished and gone you would never know there was work being done in your yard. Reasonable priced and they can do it all. I recommend them highly and I recommend them often. read more

You're gonna love this tree service! Staffed by off-duty fireman they had our diseased oak tree down, with pretty good cleanup, in about an hour. Cory and Damien were very efficient. From the estimate to removal was a painless process and they have fair and reasonable pricing. Be mindful that if there is an area fire a return phone call may be delayed a little. Dave is an arborist and will give you great advice on your trees. You will be very happy and firemen are always nice too :-). They are all about our community. read more

Neighbors, If you considering making the effort to decrease hazardous wildland fuels around your home to protect you, your neighbors, and first responders, in the event of a wildland fire, Arrow Fire and Land Management LLC company are your guys. The following recommendation is from my husband, Scott Dunham, who oversaw the selection process. "These guys are awesome, this is the A-TEAM. First, I did not receive any compensation or a reduced rate for writing this review and I wouldn't embellish if I had. Second, we had hired 2 landscape contractors previously to help reduce the vegetation around our house. They charged competitive hourly rates and they worked reasonably hard, but they hardly made a dent in vegetation that had been neglected for several years before we bought the house. We live on almost 1/2 acre with a wicked slope near Prescott Nat'l Forest. Arrow was not the lowest bid, but they had done another lot on our street and I had reason to believe they were better than the competition." "Our previous landscape contractors had loppers, a small chain saw that got dull quickly and wasn't used much and other equipment, some powered. Arrow had 4 or 5 wild-land fire fighters (hotshots) advancing on my scrub oak and mountain mahogany with large chain saws and 2 or 3 (7 total) STRONG men to haul the slash up the slope. They did more in 2 hours than the other contractors (with 4-5-man crews) had done in 3 days. Loppers can cut mountain mahogany and some scrub oak, but not as fast as a chain saw and Arrow's cuts were much lower and down at the ground. It took the entire day to finish, but not because they worked slow. They were humping hard almost all day and it was 99 degrees. Men who fight fires and do serious fuel reduction work can take the heat. The landscape contractors had been able to carry their loads of slash through the rear door of the garage and take the easier route up the driveway. Arrow's men carried loads that were almost twice as large and wouldn't fit through the rear door so they had to climb the much more difficult slope and they did it with ease. Previously we hired the scouts, this time we hired the marines and they brought the heavy artillery. It was like the difference between watching basketball at the YMCA and then going to a professional game. They took it up several levels. The best thing I did was get out of their way and let them work." "We had 2 lower quotes, 1 that I didn't take seriously and didn't ask for details and another that was several hundred dollars less than Arrow, but it was for a 3-man crew for a day. Even if the "lower bidder" had a 7-man crew, I seriously doubt they could stand up to the Arrow hotshot crew and by the time they had finished it would have cost us a lot more money." "We got what we paid for and even my wife was happy. She had NOT been very happy earlier when I said we weren't going with the low bidder." read more

Our front yard tree was damaged by a recent storm and a large branch broke but did not fall, creating a potential danger to passing and/or parked cars. I called Arrow Fire & Land Management to explain my problem and Cory and Reed came early the next morning to fix it. They were courteous and helpful, answering all our questions ... and totally efficient. Not only that, but the cost was extremely fair. Definitely should be your first choice when needing a tree service. read more

I just have to share with all of you what an AMAZING job Arrow Fire Support Services did on our 1/2 acre property. These guys were very professional and easy to work with. They got here right about 8 AM and were completely done by about noon. I was blown away how fast they were and the quality of their work was fantastic. They were way less expensive than anyone else I spoke with. They are certified for Fire Wise and have an arborist. read more
