If they do show up, they don't finish the job when they say they will. You end up calling them multiple times to finish what they started, and they never come back to complete the work. Trapline is the exception to that rule. I made contact with them, they showed up as promised, and did all the work they said they would. They got rid of some very destructive raccoons for me and repaired my soffits. They gave me a quote and a handshake, and they delivered on all of it in a very tight time schedule. I never had to call them back. They did the work they promised completely without any prompting from me. That is rare in this day and age. If you are in the Orlando area and have critters driving you crazy call Trapline and let them take care of it for you. You guys deserve the five stars, you earned it. I got a response before 7am and someone was out by 11am. I was impressed by the quick response and showing up on time a couple days before the holiday. Nestor, the tech who came out was friendly, respecting of our home and in my mind conducted one of the most thorough and honest free estimates. We have a pest contract with another company and he suggested we reach out to them as well to see if they would handle, what we thought to be a raccoon as to not violate our contract. He went into the attic (helping me move boxes so we could get into the second attic entrance) and found that it was a rat caught in a trap and it happened to be right on top of our hallway attic entrance flopping around. I was able to call my pest control company and they removed the rat and rechecked entry points and helped seal other potential areas that Nestor pointed out to me during the inspection. I would not hesitate to call them in the future and have reached out regarding a treatment for the attic to neutralize the rat feces.

He easily identified all our open access points on our home and came up with a decisive plan to help us get rid of our squirrel problem without harming them. Their prices were honest. He immediately got us scheduled as soon as he would with their guy Alex. He came out a few days later and he set up the one way exit and sealed all the holes. We had no squirrel problem within days. Long story short: we made the switch after swarms at our house were getting more frequent and our previous pest control company that we had a termite bond with just wasn't cutting it. After the first visit, termite activity completely disappeared for over a year. As you may know, without tenting your home, you can't ever fully get rid of termites, especially living in the Colonialtown neighborhoods. The large majority of older homes deal with it in some capacity. Our last two visits have just been quick spot treatments because of the protection and treatment we got the first time. We only ever have 1 or 2 small sites of activity a year (no more swarmst though), which is a huge improvement from the last company we used. We opted out of emergency weekend service and instead left the lights on.in the attic all weekend. They came and inspected and sure enough, a raccoon had been there and rats. They installed a one way trap for the raccoon, as I didn't want it euthanized, rat traps and duct tape to further verify what kind of critters were taking up residence and sealed off every possible entrance. I also decided to have them re-insulate the attic as said critters had pretty much torn it up, plus left unsanitary messes. They completed the job in one day and the attic looks great now! Plus the "eviction" had worked, as there was no fur on the tape (they checked several days in a row.)

Critter Control subcontracted the insulation work to Sun Insulation. The exclusion work was completed, but the insulation installation was canceled on the scheduled day due to the subcontractor's equipment failure. This left us without insulation during a Florida summer and forced us to scramble to find another company on the eve of a holiday weekend. We ultimately had to pay for a hotel because our home was not ready to occupy. What disappointed me most was not the equipment failure itself. Unexpected problems happen. It was how Critter Control handled the situation afterward. The owner never returned my calls.The insulation company's manager never returned my calls. The office staff repeatedly minimized the impact of the cancellation. I was told that because I had rescheduled an appointment weeks earlier, after a vendor that was scheduled to complete work that needed to be completed before the insulation could be replaced was delayed due to a car accident, that this situation was somehow my responsibility. The discussion repeatedly focused on how quickly the exclusion work had been completed while largely ignoring that the insulation portion of the project--the reason the house was uninhabitable--was never completed by their subcontractor. Critter Control eventually agreed to reimburse one hotel night, which I appreciate. However, they refused to remove or adjust the bundled warranty despite the fact that I no longer have confidence in using their company in the future. The office manager just kept repeating "You signed the estimate." When I said that I signed it in good faith that it came with at least a basic level of customer service, she simply kept repeating herself. Legally, she is correct. But it was certainly poor business practices. Throughout this process, even before things went wrong, I felt like I had to manage the project myself rather than having the company take ownership of the customer experience. Multiple phone calls went unreturned and the team at Critter Control did nothing to help facilitate communication with the subcontractor they chose. The biggest lesson I learned is that when you hire Critter Control, you are also depending on the performance of their subcontractors. If something goes wrong, don't assume you'll receive proactive communication or have easy access to company leadership. I sincerely hope others have a better experience than I did, but based on mine, I would not hire this company again.

And I'm so glad I did, for 2 key reasons: 1.) IT WORKS: From a purely functional perspective, the treatment definitely helps keep pests at bay. For the first few weeks after we moved into the house, spiders, ants, and palmetto bugs were nearly everyday occurrences (as they tend to be in Florida). After Royal Palm treated, it felt like we had our house back. We pay for quarterly treatments, and while they offer free interim treatments if we notice an uptick in pests in the home, we've never had to avail ourselves of that offer. If we ever see an insect in the house, it's rare, and they've usually given up the ghost by the time we find them. 2.) CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SPECTACULAR: They always call US to schedule our quarterly treatments, which is a nice perk because I'd never remember. They're always friendly and professional. And our technician (Craig) is a super nice guy. Very efficient, always on time, AND he wears booties over his shoes when he comes into the house, which is such a nice touch. We like to maintain a "shoe-free" home to keep the floors clean, but we don't typically ask guests to remove their shoes because we don't want to make folks feel uncomfortable. So the fact that he wears paper booties over his shoes as a matter of course is just an incredibly thoughtful thing to do. Again, highly recommended!

I called today to cancel only to be told we were locked in to an 18 month contract!!! Mind you we were never told this on the front end which is deception. Upon reading the other reviews, I now see I am not the only one who has had this experience sadly. We do plan to contact our contractual attorney to reach out to who ever owns this shady business. And, to whom ever comments on their google account, please do not send some copy and paste rebuttal comment that you have said to every other person who has complained.
