Although my kiddo has been coming weekly for 7 years, if your child has a gymnastic talent, like the "it"factor then practices here should be limited. Rockstar is an impactful starter gym in case your kiddo is flakey. Or if your kiddo is trying something new. Or maintaining skill development. Or after tumbling training to broaden cheer skills. All gender, demographics, weight, shapes abilities or disabilities, and ethnicities, are accepted! I think the age is 3-17 but you may need to verify. A few parents wait around indoors but there is limited seating. Some parents wait in the parking lot until their child finishes practices. And others enjoy the walking path across the street at Montgomery Waller Park or run quick errands. Me, I take a power nap.

We've been with Ms Felicia since my daughter was 6 and she's a high school senior now. Learning from the great instructors at Inspire has helped her to develop her poise, grace, and stage presence. Pre-pandemic, my husband and I enjoyed participating in various capacities (performing, ushering, supervising the dancers) in the many performances the studio puts on each year, and we've always been impressed with how professional the staff and volunteers are, and the care and respect they show for the dancers. The office is professionally-run, the studio clean & well-equipped, and there are a variety of classes for all students. We've been very impressed with how hard Ms Felicia and the staff have worked to keep the dancers and families safe as they've followed all the county's requirements for remaining open. They do a great job of communicating with the families via email, the BAND app, and social media, and they have fun extracurricular activities too! It's always fun to spot our daughter or even us on the social media accounts! They yelled at a coach during a tournament in Anaheim. Unprofessional administrators run this club and it's apparent they're in it for the money. They don't address parent's concerns and shift the blame then they block your number so you cannot reach them. They favored one family whose child caused problems with her teammates and majority of the top 18s girls team will not be coming back. They fired a league MVP, all-county and all CIF coach because of this family's complaining their daughter doesn't get enough playing time. The 18-1s girl's suffered a losing streak because of ONE vindictive family. The season started with 12 players and 9 remained due to non-communication from Jesse. Had one of the coaches (Jesse) smirk and taunt an ex-exodus player during a high school tournament months later. Club fees are reasonable but uniforms started falling apart mid-season, players also did not wear a lot of the attire because it was too small or short for them. My daughter was in competitive cheer for over a year and although she loved the sport, we didn't like the coaches. The moment we started hoop haven I could tell how comfortable she got with coach Craig and after one practice you can instantly tell why the kids love him. He goes all in at every practice, is so gentle yet firm with his practices and above all, the kids have fun. My 10 year old didn't know how to dribble the ball when she first started and now she begs to go to practice and never fights to get a workout in. If you're thinking about it, just go for their free trial and try it out. After a few months we instantly saw progress and the confidence she gained by showing up to every practice. You can tell every single child in her group lets loose, gets loud and excited because they're purely just having fun while learning new skills every time. We are grateful for this gem and am excited to see where it goes from here.

The Good & The Bad…read more Start with the Good: Some of the teachers are amazing. My son loves Ms. Kerry, he will ask for her on the weekends and we have to explain Ms. Kerry is at school. He talks about her on the drive to school, and can't wait to spend the day with her. She's made a comforting lasting impression on my son that I'm very grateful for. She's cares for him, fixed his "boo boos", taught him so much that words can't describe how grateful we are she's in his life, even if it is at school. He also adores Ms. Cheli, she runs a tight ship, but the children listen and follow her lead as you can see her experience is valid and spot on. The Bad: The classrooms can be too much. Especially the twos and early preschool. Teachers are stressed, over worked and Im sure crap Pay for the work they do. They deserve so much more. Many times I've walked in the building to managers and directors standing up in the office gossiping about teachers, other families. Especially teachers and other employees within the company. Not just once but several. They don't care. They don't get people can hear them when we are standing in the office. Or while I'm checking my child in the computer, the office door is open, and you have the two directors gossiping about their own employees and people can hear everything. Very unprofessional. Yet they know their teachers need help sometimes, but they would rather sit up there and gossip, and talk mad game instead of supporting the teachers and classrooms that look like a circus sometimes. Kuddos to the teachers hanging and holding on, your management is something else (not in a good way), we only stay for the specific teachers my son loves, but I know as he gets older he will not always have them.
