We love Aqua-Tots! We've had my son enrolled in weekly classes here since he was 8 months old, and…read moreit has helped his confidence in the water so much. He's now 3 and is SO comfortable in the pool. He loves swimming and jumping in from the edge, can turn around and get himself back to the wall, climb out on his own, and independently back float. Santi has been his coach for over a year now, and my son absolutely loves him. He works so well with him and has made swimming such a positive experience. I also love how the program progresses with their age. When they're little, you're in the pool with them, which is such great bonding time. Now my son is in class independently. The transition was hard for him for the first few weeks, but it ended up being really good for him and helped build his confidence being away from me. The app is super easy to use for scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling lessons. You can also see your child's progress, instructor notes, and progress reports right in the app. The changing rooms and bathrooms are always clean. I also had one issue with an instructor in the past, and when I brought my concern to the front desk, they listened, took it seriously, and immediately took action to remove that instructor from my son's class. I was extremely thankful for how quickly and professionally they handled my concern. My only criticism is that I wish they pushed the kids a little more as they progress, especially letting them swim farther distances independently. I'd love to see my son challenged a little more now that he's so comfortable in the water. I also wish they maximized the full 30-minute class better. There are quite a few classes where the first 10 minutes or so are spent with the instructor teaching or explaining things to another trainee. When you're paying for a 30-minute lesson, that's a pretty significant portion of the class, and I'd much rather see that time focused on getting the kids as much actual swimming and practice time as possible. We've had such a positive experience here over the years. I highly recommend Aqua-Tots, especially if you want your child to become comfortable, confident, and safe in the water!

The kids are all in the pool without any division/separation from each class, mixing younger and older kids together even without trying. My daughters last day there she swam into an older kid sending her into a panic. Automatically she wanted out of the pool and did not want to return. Aside from the chaos, coach Michelangelo was heaven sent!!! He was ideal for a new learner! Soft spoken and patient. Unfortunately he left floaties and honestly the other coaches were the complete opposite of him so Him leaving plus my daughter being basically traumatized were the signal i needed to switch swim schools. The place isn't necessarily dirty but it isn't spotless either. The front desk needs some work as they aren't friendly and don't even try to help you if you need to switch classes. They also don't let you know if the coach isn't there for the day....you find out when you show up. My daughter is now thriving in the water again and coach Michelangelo teachings are helping her in the new school as well!

At the first party the lifeguard (I'm forgetting her name) had to rescue one little girl who got caught underwater. Yesterday at the 8 year old party, Vanessa was EXCELLENT. Prompt, kind, professional and watched over (13) 5-10 year olds for 3 hours. It would have made me crazy but she was amazing. I told the supervisor in the office and she just said where was the lifeguard? Exactly! I do have to say instructors seem great but safety is not their priority! First day is chaotic with everyone in the kids pool and testing them has no rhyme and reason how your child is placed into a level.
