She was really excited and proud of herself. I will be honest and say I was a little shocked at the pricing of competitive gymnastics, but I did some research based off other gyms in San Diego and later found that the pricing is very comparable and fair especially for the amount of training and the quality of training that my daughter is getting. On top of that I had plenty of questions about competitive gymnastics and the staff has been answering all my long emails and eventually Kristin the manager ended up just meeting personally with me which I'm grateful for. My daughter hasn't started competing yet, this side of gymnastics is all new to us- but my overall experience of this gym from the past 4+ years getting here has been positive.

Unfortunately it seems they weren't ready as a business and very easily gave up on all these girls and the program not even a year into it. They were unorganized and the communication along the whole way was just bad. During these times of bad communication and lack of attention to detail we decided to let it go as it's a new program. Things take time to perfect and get right. Correct?..... Not to them apparently it was easier to just cancel the program and let all these kids and staff down without any sort of communication. Just one day out of the blue putting it on the coaches to relay the terrible news that ownership and management made. Slayden couldn't even show up to inform us. He didn't even want us to come to the coaches with problems only to him. Yet he couldn't even show up to tell us face to face. Apparently they didn't want to handle the finances?? Not only did we waste nearly a 1000 dollars on a uniform as well as our monthly tuition and all the other costs. But our girls who worked hard all year didn't even get a end of the year banquet like even the cheapest pop Warner teams get. The company and managers are a joke. I would honestly think twice before bringing your kids here.

Mr. Dim has high expectations and he not only teaches the kids martial arts, but most importantly, he teaches them about character, being good, respectable citizens and always working hard. I really enjoy seeing the kids form a community where ALL different types of children are accepted and valued. As a mother, I could not be more pleased. The other parents are all very nice as well. My son just began the training this week but already feels like part of the team. Even the kids here are kind and friendly. I have been to other places where everyone just kind of stayed to themselves and none of the other kids really spoke to my son. But here, they welcomed him with open arms and are so encouraging and push him to do his best. It is just an amazing experience so far and the price is not bad considering the running rates around town. Definitely no pressure to enroll which is a HUGE plus!! They know what they have to offer and if it is for you and your family, then they welcome you and even if you decide not to, they wish you the best and dont treat you any different. While the instructors seemed competent, they were clearly overwhelmed--far too many students per coach, which severely limited individual support unless you paid for private sessions. However, the most troubling experience was financial. I was assured by the owner that the charges for three months (over $300) would be refunded once the Regional Center--whom I was working with--paid for my daughter's sessions. I agreed to pay upfront in good faith, fully expecting the refund once the third party handled the cost. After the Regional Center completed payment, the refund never came. I reached out multiple times over the course of a year, only to receive vague excuses about "budget issues." Eventually, it became clear that the owner had no intention of returning the money. This wasn't a delay--it was a blatant refusal. Holding onto funds that were supposed to be reimbursed feels unethical at best, fraudulent at worst. I cannot in good conscience recommend this gym to any family.
