In addition, Executive installed our built-in Fridge and Freezer panels vs the cabinet installers, again, very pleased we did that! The onsite techs were very professional and knowledgeable. They took case to protect the finished parts of our home. The Built-in Fridge and Freezer could not be installed until the wood flooring was completed, including a new set of floating stairs. Getting the appliances upstairs to our kitchen area was definitely hard work and a feat! Our main tech, Eric, was very knowledgeable about Thermador appliances. He did an initial walk through before installation was scheduled. He discovered an issue with the hardwiring location for both single ovens. We were able to get the electrical work redone before installation. In addition, his knowledge of Thermador appliances helped with the set-up and also troubleshooting. There was an issue with the Freezer, post installation, but it was the appliance not the installation. We have an all Thermador kitchen. Executive Appliance Service installed the built-in Fridge and Freezer, cooktop, downdraft, two single ovens, warmer, and microwave. In addition, the ovens, warmer, and microwave had to be uninstalled and reinstalled as the cabinet design had them placed too high! Again, care was taken with the uninstall and reinstall to prevent damage to the appliances and our home. ( he wouldn't park in our driveway as he thought he was leaking oil, so he parked his truck down the street. This small gesture was not lost on me at all, it really shows respect for the customer) He prepped the area and covered everything to minimize dirt, dust and debris. He was very detail oriented and made sure our new microwave was installed perfectly, he even went so far as to run the vent and seal every last possible vent leak to minimize noise. So I've been wanting to write a review for a couple of months-just have been really busy. The…read moreentire saga is still ongoing, since I'm in a dispute via my bank for the 'service' they provided. I just have to have some time to sit down and write an extremely detailed account of everything that happened (it'll be the short version here). Back in the end of June, I called them because my washing machine was showing error codes. My repair guy whom I've had repair all of my appliances for the last 10+ years suddenly passed away earlier this year, so I needed to find a new person. Making the appointment was easy enough. The tech Rodion ('Rodney') ended up being late, which should've been a sign that the company wasn't reliable. He was supposed to show up between 1-4, but didn't arrive until almost 5. I showed him the laundry room, and the the dude KICKED ME OUT of the room and shut the door, not letting me watch him work. A few min later, he said it was the filter that needed to be changed. And it'd cost $465. I said forget it, I'd rather just buy a new set (the set was about 15 years old anyways). About a min later, he said he was authorized to give me a $100 discount. I told him that I was just gonna replace it, but yes, I let him talk me into fixing it. So he 'fixed' it, turned on the washing machine and immediately left. I had to leave for about 30 min, and when I came back, I came back to a flooded laundry room and different error codes on machine. I threw down some towels and called D & V. A woman answered, and there were screaming kids in the background where I couldn't hear. I was surprised because they presented themselves in the beginning as a major appliance repair company with an office, or it could've just been my perception. Anyways, she kept saying that she will 'escalate' the situation and call me back immediately. She never did. The following morning (Friday), I called again. Still no response. Finally I began a text string threatening to call my bank, and then got a reply saying the tech will come by between 6-7pm that evening to take a look. Long story short, they texted before 6pm saying that a tech was on his way. Then about 5 MINUTES before they were due to arrive, another text saying the tech has a flat tire and won't be coming. Hence the start of the ongoing bank dispute. I would not recommend this company to anyone. It's funny that they have a 3.4 star review on Yelp but a 4.9 on Google. I am speculating they got all their friends to leave fake reviews on Google. These people are sketchy. Yes it was my fault for letting him talk me into spending the money, but after having a completely trustworthy repair man for so many years I guess I had let my guard down. Either way, they never fixed the washing machine. I will never hire anyone again that wouldn't let me watch them work. We did end up buying a new set from Costco. It works perfectly. And D & V was trying blame me as well for the new error codes.

I specifically asked whether replacing the recommended parts would actually resolve the problem or whether we would be better off purchasing a new refrigerator. He assured me that once the part and the freezer lock were replaced, the issue would be resolved. Based on that assurance, we followed his recommendations and spent approximately $2,500 on the repairs. Fast-forward, last week, the freezer was again not working properly. I contacted him because, naturally, we were frustrated after having spent that amount of money. Instead of acknowledging our frustration, his response was, "It's not like it broke down in 2 or 3 days, it took 5 months." He came out again last week and charged us another $658. Unfortunately, the freezer still did not work properly after the service. The check has already been cashed, and we have now decided to purchase a new refrigerator. What is most disappointing to me is not simply the money we spent, but the fact that I specifically asked five months ago whether we should repair the refrigerator or replace it. I relied on his professional recommendation, spent approximately $2,500 following that recommendation, and ultimately ended up needing a new refrigerator anyway. I have already communicated my concerns to him and left the decision regarding the most recent payment with him. In my view, when a customer spends thousands of dollars following a repair recommendation and the underlying problem ultimately remains unresolved, it is reasonable to expect the service provider to acknowledge the customer's frustration and stand behind the work. My experience was that the interaction was pleasant as long as everything was going according to his expectations, but when I raised concerns about the results of the repair, I felt my frustration was not handled professionally. I am sharing this experience so other customers can make an informed decision before spending a significant amount of money on repairs for a Thermador refrigerator or freezer and I wish instead of relying on his advice I researched the issue more to see that maybe repair was not the way to go.
