I received an email showing delivery for 12/3. During the 3rd, my wife and I saw their truck and trailer go by, but no delivery. Mark, the store manager at Burggraf's, called me that same day 4:37pm. He said his delivery guy ran out of time. He said it was "interesting" when I said that my wife and I saw his truck and trailer go by earlier. He then said he could deliver it himself but would need help unloading, or I could wait a day and they would bring it up on Thursday. I said I can wait. I then waited...and waited... Finally, on 12/16, I sent them an email inquiring into my order. In it I stated that I wanted a brand new, never used, snow blower. Mark called me at 10:32am on 12/17. He said I was "quite the anomaly", and their website said there was one in stock but when they checked, there was zero. It triggered a new one from the Ace warehouse in La Crosse, WI but it never triggered their system that it had arrived in Winona. He said it was brand new, and they would deliver it today, by noon. The delivery person stopped by at 12:25pm. I was cordial. I began my inspection. The first thing I noticed were the many liquid stains, then the cobwebs, and finally the white bird poop. I said this is not new, and to return it. He said I wasted his delivery. I was disappointed but composed. I then called Mark and cancelled the order.

Jason B answered and was incredibly accommodating! First he told me that he would put "hands on" the shoes to ensure they were in the store. He said that I would have to pay for shipping since the shoes were so heavily discounted, $85.00 off! I felt that was a extremely fair request. He searched for the cheapest shipping option AND cut a shipping box to the smallest size and still allow the factory box to fit, further reducing the shipping cost. He didn't have to do that, I was paying the shipping anyway. The shoes are brand new in the box and came exactly as described. Jason was keeping me updated with the shipping progress which took only 3 business days, from MN to NJ! I looked at some of the reviews, the most recent one that I see is from 2022 and my experience was nothing like that. If I could change one thing, it would be for Bicycle Sports to move closer! New Jersey would be nice, but I wouldn't wish that on anyone. :) Unfortunately, I feel that people are more inclined to share a bad experience more than a positive one. I felt that Jason and the Bicycle Sports deserved a few minutes of my time for outstanding customer service. I was hesitant after reading some of those old reviews, but based on my experience, I will not hesitate to purchase again. Bicycle Sports is a Brick and mortar store and not a big chain retailer further reenforces my decision. Nothing against them, but my preference are the Brick and Mortar shops! There is a rack out front to park your bike, which is nice. There seemed to be a large variety of accessories, clothing, and bikes in store. Inside i was greeted by a friendly face right away, who dropped what he was doing to help me out. I was wanting theft protection for my tires, and thanks to his help I was convinced to purchase a long cable to tether my tires, which can also be used to tie both my husband's and my bike together if needed. The price was very reasonable for the product. I will definitely be going back to bicycle sports in the future, and I reccomend it to anyone else who bikes.

Our car was stranded in a fast food restaurant parking lot overnight after the key broke off the fob in the ignition and we were unable to reprogram a new fob. Called Paul's Lock & Key Shop for advice/availability as my sick grandfather was stuck at the hotel without his medications and needed to return home as soon as possible. Owner Jim answered the phone and immediately began to speak with hostility towards us, saying "are you going to shut up so I can talk?" and "I'm trying to do you a favor and if you don't stop talking I'm not helping you" as my mom was trying to relay information from him to me so I could follow his instruction. He also cussed at us, saying "well maybe I should fucking talk to her then!" When my mom was explaining the situation to him. It made an already incredibly stressful day 1000x worse, and I never expected this kind of customer service in Rochester. Especially where 90% of visitors are likely having the worst day of their life and could be met with a small amount of kindness. You never know what someone is going through. Will not be using services again and certainly will not be recommending to others/will be warning those looking for appropriate service to look elsewhere. Very disappointing.

Unpacked my road bike after a Delta flight and found the rear derailleur hanger…read morecompletely bent, despite lots of bubble wrap, foam etc. They offered to source the part but I found it myself online and they mounted it, reset the derailleur and tuned the gears. They did this quickly, cheaply and professionally, allowing me the sanity of cycling while visiting family in the area. Go there first!
