There were 5 of us on Easter Sunday. Our food was good, hot and delicious. Our server, Anthony was spectacular, very attentive to all our needs. Excellent waiter.

As a vegetarian and enchilada lover, the cheese enchiladas are soo good. I love this place, the service is great and the margs aren't too strong or too sweet. Highly recommend.

My grandchildren and I have a lovely lunch at this restaurant this week. We did not have to wait at all we received it immediately. The interior of the restaurant is very cute and festive with nice music in the background. Service was amazing and the food was delicious. We had a wonderful time period all of the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and I would definitely return

*Dined-3/29/23 We and tried the Hatch Chile Especial & my friend had a chimichanga & we both enjoyed our meals. Sopapillas were dry and rock solid as soon as they cooled off. The server...not so much. Can't remember his name but he had a long beard which he styled by wrapping a cord around it. He was running both the bar & bar seating area (on this slow night). My friend whose not familiar asked if they offer hard shell tortillas and the server gave her a sarcastic rude answer . We asked for a drink menu & he quickly said they don't have one. Didn't bother to tell us about the drink specials just said "we have a bar, just pick something." We were annoyed w/ his several smart remarks but had already order so we stuck it out with him. There 3 people drinking at the bar and we were the ONLY ones eating most of the time there & he still had an attitude. Food was okay but not worth dealing w/ a wise guy when I just want to eat & relax.

    Tacos al carbon... My choice.

Opted to try a new Mexican restaurant in the area this evening for dinner. Super convenient location right off Bell x 79th on the border of Peoria / Glendale near Arrowhead. Plenty of ample parking. There was a little bit of a wait this evening, but it was only 15-20 min. so not a huge ordeal. We were greeted immediately. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous despite how busy they were. The parking lot and entry way are very clean, as well. The booths and tables are spaced out so you don't feel as though you're right on top of everyone. Our booth was wiped clean and our server greeted us as soon as we were seated. Fresh chips 'n salsas on the table. Their menu is quite varied. I'm sure some of the foodie elitists and locals who undoubtedly grew up in a tiny village in rural Mexico will have qualms with the authenticity of the dishes... but for a mere mortal such as myself, I enjoyed my meal. I went with the tacos al carbon. The corn tortillas were soft and fresh without being crumbly like a typical dried out soft corn tortilla. The beef was tender and flavorful. The pico, cabbage and onions were fresh, crispy and complimented my tacos perfectly. Prices were on par with most any other table fare Mexican restaurant in the area. Our drinks were refilled constantly without ever asking and our server checked on us frequently without being overbearing. I can't speak to the individuals on Yelp who hated their dining experience at Arriba's. My wife and I both enjoyed ourselves and our Friday evening here. Many thanks to the staff who made our dining experience pleasant. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Arriba's to my friends, colleagues and fellow Yelp'ers.

Nothing special about this place. The food was not hot enough and the mimosas were not very good.

Put your name in at reception and you were taken back usually after a small weight. We didn't have to wait yesterday. The servers are really friendly and checked on a frequently refilling hubs soda a few times without him having to ask. Our waitress also brought us an extra bowl of spicy salsa because she saw we had eaten all of it. Just brought us another basket of hot and chips. On our first visit, I got enchiladas and instead of rice and on the side I decided to choose their potatoes. The potatoes are so delicious. I love them, and I will look forward to these again when we return. Today we ordered: - Coke - Diet Coke (no Coke Zero here) - NACHOS GRANDE - Tortilla chips, cheddar & Monterey Jack cheese, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, jalapeños. Choose seasoned ground beef, slow-roasted chicken or refried beans, or for an extra dollar, substitute fire-grilled steak or chicken fajita. I chose the chicken fajita protein topping. I ordered this for an entrée, but it would be a really good appetizer for 3 to 6 people. It's almost like cheese crisps, halved, with lots of melted cheese and a small amount of meat on each tortilla half. In the center there are toppings. I enjoyed the pickled jalapeños because they weren't extra hot. This hit my comfort food spot. I wasn't able to eat the whole thing so it was so big, but it was exactly what I was looking for. - THE GRANDE COMBINATION - Beef, chicken, cheese enchiladas, cheese chile relleno, tamale, crispy beef taco, guacamole. This combination is HUGE! Even the plate is grande. Absorbed this, and I think his eyes were larger than his stomach. He filled up on the beans and the rice, the chile relleno, and the taco. He got to take three enchiladas and a tamale for dinner the next night. A very nice tasty plate. Complementary chips and three types of salsa are brought to the table. Of the salsas, one is a red sauce that is mild, one is a pineapple tomatillo, and one is a spicier red salsa. The chips are nice and fresh and thin and brought to the table warm. Men's and women's restroom near the entrance for customers.
