I originally visited Aroy-D with work colleagues, but have since returned on two occaisions so far. Having eaten at several Thai restaurants in the past I thought I knew what to expect, however the food served here was a cut above anywhere I had eaten before. With a large selection of varied, authentic Thai dishes on offer for all courses, the menu is sure to please many tastes. Thai Fishcakes are a particulally good starter, along with Satay Chicken and 'The Best Soup in the World'. From the Curry dishes, the Jungle Curry stands out for spice and a little kick, but Green, Red or Yellow curry are all to be tried at some time as each offers something new and different from the last. The Red Snapper or the Sea Bass are also good choices (not just for lovers of sea food), and all dishes are beautifully put together and presented well.
With a good number of tasty deserts and drinks also available, all served in a fully air-conditioned restaurant with a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere, coupled with helpful and friendly service, Aroy-D is not only the finest Thai restaurant I have visited in the area, but one of the best restaurants offering any style of food in the area.
The Ingredients are all freshly prepared and cooked, and a take away menu is is also on offer. If you are not familiar with Thai cuisine then now is the time to try it. The staff are happy to advise what is best suited to your taste and adjust the levels of spice, sweetness and 'heat' accordingly. I will definately be visiting again soon and wish Aroy-D the best of luck. read more
