Please don't let the two poorer reviews affect you! My wife and I had an excellent meal at Lemongrass.
We tried the duck spring rolls, per the suggestion of another reviewer here. They were good, though didn't rock my world as they seemed to have done to hers!
Our meals were beautifully presented, with a fresh rose on each plate. My wife's Phad Si-ew (with prawns) was delicious, and my Lamb Shank Massaman was among the top five restaurant dishes I've ever had. First, the shank was high-quality and had a lot of meat on it--no small portion here. The sauce was absolutely phenomenal, and everything arrived to the table piping hot. The lamb came with cauliflower, broccoli, sweet potato, carrots, and potatoes, with the latter three especially beautifully presented.
The prices were very reasonable, especially compared with the prices we've paid all over Britain for the past two weeks (we spent 1500 miles on the road and traveled from Brighton to St. Andrews). read more
