They showed up incredibly late the day before my wedding and made it almost nearly impossible to communicate with anyone about arrival time. When they did arrive they had forgotten a table and only informed me at time of arrival that they would not be setting up chairs or tables because I did not pay the extra fee for that. The manager, Lucas, was unprofessional, impossible to get ahold of and did not seem to care what so ever about our disappointment with their service. They were a day late on pick up and again did not communicate effectively or timely and made us shift around our schedule to accommodate their inability to be on time. I have reached out to Lucas to try and discuss our disappointment but to no surprise he will not answer. Save yourself the stress and go with a more professional and reliable company.

Ed Guns, the owner and their employees were patient, friendly, and accommodating. It only takes about 3-5 minutes to set up and take down the inflatables and you have the choice to use an electrical outlet or a self-standing generator. We have used them for several events and every time they are professional and friendly, plus they are always on time!!

Instead, a voice mail was left by the owner, Teri, saying, "I am on vacation. We are short staffed. I need to confirm that you still need us." The owner said she tried to contact me via e-mail and cell phone. There was no record on my cell phone of a call. Her business e-mail was filtered out of my system into my junk folder. When I did finally touch base with the owner she said that she assumed that since I was not able to confirm the day prior, that the we were canceling. I do not think this is best business practice! I scheduled this catering a month in advanced and expected the company would honor the date. It is not our fault they were short staffed and the owner was on vacation. I did not appreciate the blame being put on us. This is not a reliable company.

It was such an amazing process that I almost forgot the cart was in use at the time and hope to mimic my experience again. I HIGHLY recommend Teri and team. Thank you so much!!!

I'm so glad I found this company. It was exactly what my daughter was imagining her party to be and more, down to every last detail making it feel very personal and customized. Last year I set out on a personal BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal), to create a tribute show called,…read moreHe Wore Black, a Johnny Cash Tribute. I contacted Cash's original drummer and asked if he and his lead guitarist in his band, The WS Holland Band, would play with me. They agreed and I quickly contacted Shining Light Events to help me sell tickets. Since I was both performer and promoter, I had a lot on my shoulders, the high costs of bringing in these to artists aside, what if we didn't sell enough tickets, what if I don't get the word out, what if I spend too much money on advertising and it all is a bust? This was either going to be a great show or the best "party" I have ever put on for myself and my family. Michael at Shining Light Events assured me we would sell out the show. I wasn't so sure, but I trusted him because I have used his site to buy tickets to local events and have witnessed first hand these events selling out. Michael and I talked quite a bit, he was always available to speak to me and offer his assurance that things are going smoothly. Two months out and we weren't sold out. In fact, the room would have had an echo with the number of tickets we sold. He told me not to worry, he was planning a promotion for my event. Well, we went from having an echo in the room to having to SHUTDOWN the ticket sales because we were now standing room only! We sold out about a month (ONE MONTH) before the show, not to mention we had a waiting list of 60+ people on the list (which equates to about 100 additional bodies). If you have an event where you are selling tickets, do yourself a favor and let Shining Light Events handle the ticket sales and promotion. It will be one more thing that you will NOT have to worry about, trust me. He Wore Black was a huge success!!! So much so that I couldn't even let Michael buy tickets to it because we were really SOLD-OUT! And thanks to that success we are getting more and more bookings for the show. So, do you have a BHAG? Call Michael at Shining Light Events, tell him what you're thinking, he helps BHAGs become realities. David Chapa He Wore Black
