P.Glass has met all of our glass needs. Be they house windows, double glass, automotive glass, and…read morespecialty glass such as pellet stove door glass. Great location for Arrostook county. Friendly employees, call for an appt. or get it done in your driveway.

I'd keep the substance but remove calling his wife a "bitch" yourself. Quoting what the manager…read moreallegedly said is much stronger and keeps the review focused on what happened. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Portland Glass of Presque Isle. The first time they replaced my windshield, I had a great experience. The work was good and the customer service was great. Unfortunately, once something went wrong, my experience with this business completely changed. I dropped my 2017 Jeep Cherokee off for a windshield replacement and paid a $500 deductible. I did not expect to get my Jeep back with approximately $1,000 worth of additional damage, adhesive/glue residue, damage to the vehicle, issues with interior controls, and now concerns that the windshield itself is not sitting correctly. What has been even more upsetting is how I have been treated while trying to get answers. The staff has been extremely rude and disrespectful, and I will admit that after repeatedly being spoken to that way, I became frustrated and rude in return. I have never had a company make me feel the way this experience has. I had legitimate questions about who would be repairing my Jeep. If damage occurred while my vehicle was already in their care, I think it is completely reasonable to ask who would be doing the repairs and why I should feel comfortable trusting the same location to work on it again. Instead of answering those concerns professionally, I felt I was met with hostility. I also raised concerns about the way a staff member had spoken to me. During that conversation, the manager informed me that the employee was his wife and yelled back at me, "Oh yeah, that bitch is my wife." That interaction only reinforced my concerns about how this situation was being handled. At this point, I do not feel comfortable dealing directly with the Presque Isle location or allowing them to perform additional work on my Jeep. I have photographs, estimates, receipts, and documentation of the damage and my attempts to resolve this. I brought my Jeep there for a windshield replacement--not to leave with approximately $1,000 in additional damage and questions about whether the new windshield was installed correctly after already paying a $500 deductible. I am asking Portland Glass corporate or a district manager to step in and handle this professionally. I am not asking for anything unreasonable. I simply want the damage caused while my Jeep was in their care to be properly addressed so I can have it repaired somewhere I trust.
