I've had a lot of Thai and this is one of the best restaurant I've been to within the U.S. Truly takes me back to Thailand. We split a small Tom Yum soup, of which had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The potstickers had a perfect crunch. My main dish, Chicken Pad Thai had so much flavor and the added texture of peanuts and the extra bean sprouts on the side, were much appreciated! My boyfriend got the drunken noodles, of which they perfected. Flavorful and veggie packed. Service was impeccable! The staff was so friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. Located by a gas station, it gave hole-in-the-wall vibes. However, once you walk in, you are greeted with the absolute friendliest service. The people working here are SO nice. There was plenty of seating in the restaurant and so we didn't have to wait at all. The food was really yummy -- we had shrimp summer (fresh) rolls and it was great. We also really enjoyed our pad thai and kao soi chicken thighs. Their portions were decently large and I had leftovers to take home. The prices were definitely reasonable as well, given the yumminess and high quality. We don't live close to it, but would definitely come back again if we are passing by. read more

I'm giving two full stars for service from the ENTIRE staff. The best service and appreciation I have had hands down since moving to utah. They basically spoil you and they deserve your repeat business. Another star for ambiance and cleanliness. Cute date place for sure. Very clean and cool vibes Now to the food. Potstickers are deep fried sadly. Most that are, are usually frozen. These were also I strongly believe. The sauce didn't taste like anything but improved after I spiced it up. Tom Yum...medium hot was my request and it was on point with that request. The veggies and chicken were perfect. Sadly I strongly believe this was only semi homemade. Possibly a store bought flavor packet deal. Didn't have vibes or depth of something simmering for hours should have. I would get this again if I happened to be here but wouldn't go out of my way. Fresh rolls came with a peanut sauce - my boyfriend and I agree that its probably the best peanut sauce w ever had. After going with my boyfriend, I brought two friends back about a week later. We stopped in here one evening during the week at dinner time on a whim. It was quite a surprise to be in a restaurant with such good food and so few customers. At first I was worried, but the service and the food put my fears at ease. We have since been back a couple times and each time the food has no disappointed. The boat noodles was fantastic, the chicken satay, the massaman curry, and the old fashioned pad ka pow are all solid choices and the sweet roti is a great light dessert to finish off dinner with! I almost always ask for the fish sauce with chilis to dip things in also (it doesn't seem to come with every dish) but beware! Those chilis - though tiny - can be HOT! So so so delicious though! The ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that when I've ordered the beef pad ka pow, the meat was quite tough. I've only ordered it once though, so I'm not sure if that's a normal issue or not, but it was definitely good enough that I'll be back to order it again at some point! I wish I could give Aroon Thai Kitchen 10 stars! I've been there 4 times this week! I tried the Mango Sticky Rice!!! Oh, my heavens! I think it was $10 which is more than I usually spend for a dessert, but it was worth every penny!!! I would make a special trip just for it!!! I've tried most of the curries and love them all. I feel so comfortable in the dining space!! What really makes this place extra special is the service! I look forward to seeing Peter and his staff! I feel like they are long lost family! First time visiting this place as we recently moved to the area. Ambiance was great - the restaurant was clean, the tables were stocked with utensils and napkins. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a big smile. Prompt seating (we came in at 6:00pm). Immediately brought a carafe of water with lemon and two cups. We ordered the Spring Rolls and Potstickers (ate it too fast, forgot a picture ). Came pretty quickly and tasted great! Ordered our entrées: Mild Green Curry with chicken and a Medium Spicy Pad Thai with chicken. Both were hot, fresh, delicious, perfect on their relative spiciness. The two working the floor came and checked on us multiple times, with beautiful smiles on their face and were so generous and nice. Felt unreal the service we got here. Overall impression: Some of the best Thai food I've ever had Average price: $12-20/person So I normally give at least a 4 star review if at least customer service is good and often will give 5 stars. Well I wish I could give 6 stars. This is one of those places that, for me, would rank among my top places to eat of all time. The food is outstanding and well worth what you're paying for the quality. Customer service was like a 5 star restaurant. They always checked on us and provided extra plates and utensils that were special for my kids. Food came out lightning fast. Everything was clean. But the food again is just amazing. We stopped by for dinner on Friday night. The girls that were working were so Kind and attentive. We placed our order and got our drinks promptly and they even gave my son a strawberry milk on the house. We ordered a chicken noodle soup dish that was off the menu, the kao soi (curry noodle soup) and fried rice. Everything came out hot and delicious. They also brought out plastic utensils for our toddler and offered a new fork to him when they noticed that he dropped his on the floor. Besides their 5-star customer service here, i can wholeheartedly recommend the glass noodle salad!!!! Its something a lot of thai food places either don't have or don't do it right. It's sweet, salty, savory and spicy... EVERYTHING you want in a thai dish. We also had the Pad Thai (some if the best in the valley) and the extremely traditional Tom Kha. Both were delicious! I know you've had Thai Ice Tea, forget it, try Thai Ice Tea Lemonade. Its refreshingly great for washing down their moderately spicy food! Ambiance..check! Service...check! I tried this place with my brother-in-law today. We tried it because his parents tried it here first and they liked it. We ordered appetizers to share. He ordered the spring rolls and I ordered the Satay Chicken. The spring rolls were fried. In the description, it does not specify that they are fried. All the places that serve Spring rolls that I have been to make them with rice paper or specify they're fried. The sauce came from a bottle of sweet chili sauce. The Satay Chicken skewers were very good. They were spiced with curry and other seasoning and grilled. The sauce was a HUGE disappointment. Again, from a bottle. My brother-in-law ordered the Pad Ka Pao which is basil chicken and ordered the Yellow Curry. When you order the curry, there is a disclaimer that they cannot make the curry lower than a medium spice level and cannot "unpin" the spice level. Whatever. I was going to order it medium anyway. On the menu, it stated that the curry is made with onions, potatoes, bell peppers, and carrots. When I got my dish there were no bell peppers. I questioned the server, he went to the kitchen, and they said it said the dish doesn't come with bell peppers. I had him look on the menu, and sure enough, the menu said it came with bell peppers. He offered to remake it with peppers but I declined. The curry dish was way too spicy. It did not have enough curry or coconut milk. There were also too much potatoes in the dish. Very disappointed in the dish and how the kitchen excluded the peppers in the dish There was a fried egg on top of the rice on my brother-in-law's dish. Again, that was not on the menu description. Good thing he liked the fried egg. Overall, I was not impressed with this place. I won't be going back here again. They are priced about the same as the other place I frequent but I won't be spending my hard earned cash on a restaurant that serves store bought sauce and has average cooking. read more

Food was really great. Chicken Satay was really tasty and the sauce for that complimented the chicken satay really well. I ordered Pad Kra Pao as well and it was good but if you say you are good with spicy food but not use to Asian or Thai spicy I suggest do a level 3 or below but over all it was delicious food. read more

I just had the best Thai food since my last visit to Bangkok at Aroon Thai Kitchen! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the INCREDIBLE service--the staff here is so genuinely happy and helpful, making the experience feel warm and welcoming. The ambiance is also correct, with a simple clean interior including real wood furniture and relaxing jazz music. Their menu is a perfect blend of classic Thai dishes and unique soups that are just out of this world! You can really tell how much care and attention to detail goes into everything they serve. The flavors are spot on, and each bite is transporting. I would eventually like to see beer on the menu, but that's probably a tall order. I have been to the Aroon Thai Kitchen a few times now. And for the most part, it's been pretty good this time I ordered their Pad See Ew. And at most Thai restaurants, this is one of my favorite dishes. But the Aroon Thai Kitchen adds Romain lettuce to the dish. It was not Chinese broccoli it was not Thai basil. It was Romaine lettuce, which gives no flavor and it's just basically a filler for the dish, very disappointing. It wasn't just a bit either, there was QUITE A BIT in the dish. We drove far to come here and get khao soi on a Friday night. We got here at 7:35. They would not seat us because they close at 8 and would only offer takeout. Great khao soi but disappointed with lack of service. We went elsewhere as we did not want to eat cold takeout khao soi by the time we would have got home. read more
