I'm not sure I can completely articulate what that means, but every time I walk through the doors, that's exactly how it feels. The people there have a way of making you feel like you're coming back home for a visit. Great people, great service, and a place I've genuinely enjoyed supporting for years. A true gem in the community.

The bagels here were seasoned amazing and the sandwiches were delicious! We got the BAM! and it was soooo good! The brisket bacon melts in your mouth and the everything bagel compliments the sandwich perfectly! We added the jalapeño cheddar spread for a little more creaminess! The coffee left us wanting for a little more! Not sure if it was the syrup or the coffee itself but something didn't seem up to par! Can't wait to try more of the bagels/sandwiches!!

The person behind the counter whom I thought was an owner or a manager was super welcoming, enthusiastic & helpful! He appeared to be training someone and he was multitasking flawlessly. I never felt rushed or ignored. It truly was an incredible customer service experience! Oh, his name is MOOSE and he is working up the ladder on becoming a GM. The owner should feel so blessed to have him on their staff. Just INCREDIBLE!! Ok, sorry for such a long spill on the customer service experience! I got the zat'aar bagel with scallion smear and the bagel was bigger than I expected and plenty of smear to lick your finger off of haha. I also picked up their basil smear to savor at home. YUM!!

Both the basil and jalapeno were good. I liked it.. pricing is what you would expect. They don't have all the sandwich options like Shug's. But I don't think they're trying to do that. They have a lox bagel sandwich ($14), regular lox and bagel ($12). A regular bagel + schmear will run $5. Personally I'm not crazy about bagels. So it did the trick for me.

And the food was cold! This was our first time ever trying this place so we went with the classic. We got 3 Spicy Shug w/ Everything Bagel & Pesto Cutlet Bagel w/ Everything Bagel. The spicy shug bagel was an average breakfast bagel with some spicy sauce (wasn't spicy at all in my opinion), but the pesto bagel was really good. I would recommend the pesto cutlet over the spicy shug. I wish the bagels were warmed up though, they were cold and rock hard, the fillings were also not hot. I prefer Cloud 9 Bagel in Carrolton more since they warm up your bagels and cost less.
