This review is not for the individual stores...it's for the online Aroma 360. It's customer service for "VIP" customers. They get you to sign up for a several year monthly service and you get a free machine and discount on your monthly scent. DON'T sign up. Just buy the machine outright and if you can, go to a store. I know they don't have stores in every city, so you may have to choose your scents and purchase online. They treat their "VIP's" horribly and I'm not kidding. They charge you regardless if you get your scent you chose on their "VIP" portal. They don't even tell you that a scent you chose is out of stock, many times you just hear nothing, get charged (3rd party billing company), and you wait and wait and your machine runs out of scent and YOU then have to try to contact them to ask where your monthly scent is. They spend a ridiculous amount on advertising for their company, yet do not take care of their loyal customers. They constantly run out of scents, they are nearly impossible to get ahold of on the phone, they take sometimes 72 hours to respond to email, or just don't respond at all. Love the product, HATE the antiquated way to choose scents and they obviously put no money into technology or hiring enough people to handle all the complaints. Greedy, they cannot keep up with current customers and yet want more and more. Have spent hours upon hours trying to just get our monthly scent in a timely manner or at all. They do however make sure that 3rd party billing charges their VIP customers every month on same date. Shouldn't they also send your scents on same date as well? Look at the reviews closely with this company, not great, not even close. It is not the product, it's the awful customer service, the lack of product and it's getting worse. We have been VIP customers for years and it's the same problem and no one cares to fix it! Look at other similar scent companies before signing up for anything with Aroma 360. I can tell you the fixes are easy IF they cared. But the higher ups clearly don't care. They only care about getting more and more VIP's locked into their subscriptions and then you are not important any longer. It's a shame as the scents are great (if the ones you want aren't constantly out of stock). The portal tells you if your choice is out of stock when you choose it several weeks prior to shipment; however, if it's in stock when you choose it, then becomes out of stock sometime between ordering and shipping it to you, that is where the problems start. They don't tell you, you just don't get order, you reach out and many times several days later you are told what was in stock when you chose it, is now out of stock...how about you set aside what was in stock so that when a VIP chooses it, it is theirs? Not brain surgery here. More important for them to stock these storefronts who sell these for higher than what VIP pays! This is a mess. We have 2 large machines and are supposed to get two 500ml sizes of scents sent EVERY month. It's September 6, so we should have received our 2 August scents and September scents should be here any day....NOPE, we got 1 August scent, and have zero confidence that we will get our September scents. Have we been charged though, you bet we have, full charge for August and our September bill will post anyday. So we will have paid for four 500ml of scents and received only one!!! These big bottles of scents are not cheap either, look them up online. Yes we get a discount for being "VIP", however my time is more valuable then the literally dozens and dozens and dozens of emails, portal messages and waiting on hold for 45mins trying to contact them. At this point I'd rather pay full price and get what this company promised when signing us up years ago!!! I use their oils but not in their machine. I recently placed an online order & within moments was bombarded with 8 texts all from different reps at Aroma360 saying they needed to talk about my order. I text back asking what they needed but they couldn't say just to call them. They proceeded to call 4 times all from different numbers in FL. I text them back saying they were pushy & not to contact me again. Over the year I will get calls from their reps pushing products. I told one of the reps how pushy they are & to not call me. Aroma 360 is an absolute ripoff and I have essentially flushed ~$1,500 down the drain in 10 months on defective diffusers and bottles. I've also spent several hours with their awful customer service and warranty returns department. Issue 1 (defective product): I purchased the Michaelangelo (tall tower) and 2 Mini wireless diffusers. Roughly $600. Within 60 days, both Mini's were leaking. One leaked so bad the bottom of the unit started to come apart and a weird black substance stained my counter. Issue 2 (defective product) The Michaelangelo tower started leaking and stained my hardwood. Then it quit working along with one of the Mini replacements. The motor was on but was faint and not diffusing Issue 3 (customer service) Each call is a mess. They require pictures of the defective products although how does a picture show a unit not diffusing. Each issue required multiple calls and call backs. The last time they sent me a new bottle which added another 2 weeks to tell them it's not working. Issue 4 (false advertising) On my last call, the warranty person told me 1) these units are only designed to run 3 hours per day. However, there is no mention of that anywhere. 2) The same guy told me these units aren't designed to last years which is why the warranty is 90 days and it's common to buy new hardware Issue 5 (upsell) In lieu of replacing the defective units for the second time in 10 months, they offered me a deal to buy the premium unit. However, I now have 5 months of oils because they kept shipping despite the units not working. read more

I purchased a couple of devices and air fresheners over the holidays, and the experience has been disappointing from the start. Shortly after placing my order, I started receiving repeated calls from Aroma360, trying to sell me a subscription. Each call would start with, "We're just checking in to see how your order is," but if I mentioned that I'd accidentally ordered the wrong scents or needed help with my order, they would dismiss it and pivot to pitching a subscription. The calls became so frequent--nearly daily--that I eventually had to block their number to get them to stop. When the order arrived, it was clear something was wrong. The oils had leaked--I could smell it as soon as I opened the box, and the damage was visible on the packaging. No problem. I'll just carefully place the spilled oils into Ziploc bags and take them to the Scottsdale store to address the issue when I have a chance. When I finally made it to the store, I explained the situation and even showed a photo of the damaged box, thinking it wouldn't be necessary but wanting to be thorough. To my surprise, the manager needed to see the photo before anything could be done. After I sent it, the store employee called the manager, who seemed to imply that the oils leaking "didn't make sense." It felt as though they were questioning my honesty or blaming me for the issue. After a lengthy discussion, they agreed to replace just one of the oils, even though all had spilled and were the wrong scents. I explained that I needed all of them replaced, as the scents were incorrect and the original oils had leaked. For some reason, exchanging the oils was acceptable, but replacing them due to the leak was treated differently--despite the clear evidence. After waiting 45 minutes, they finally replaced all of them, but the process was unnecessarily frustrating and time-consuming. While I was at the store, I also brought a car diffuser we'd been gifted the previous year that had never worked. When I asked if they could look at it or replace it, they said they couldn't do anything because it was a gift. Although this was frustrating, it was slightly more understandable than their handling of the leaked oils. I like the product, but they appear to be struggling, and treating customers like this isn't going to help. I'm pretty sure those stores will close and just be an online business. We have 2 whole-house systems from Aroma360; first couple of orders of oils were fine. I placed a few orders at the end of April 2025 to take advantage of a sale. Part of the order came right away. After almost a month and several emails to customer service, I found out that the rest of the order was being held because one of the items wasn't in stock. No call or email letting me know, they just didn't ship it. Finally received the rest of the order in June 2025 and the perfume sampler box was empty. After several MORE emails to customer service that went unanswered, I finally got someone on Instagram. They shipped out a replacement right away - but when the replacement came, that box was empty, too. Went back to Insta and requested a refund, at which point they told me to file a claim with Fedex, saying that since the package weight was correct, there wasn't anything else they were willing to do. These products are prohibitively expensive, we've spent thousands of dollars with this company over the years. This level of customer service is absolutely unacceptable. read more

i went into the store and was told by the manager that if we didn't like items we could return them within 30 days. I went back 2 weeks later and now they will not return the items for full value. They are charging me a restocking fee and will not give me a credit for the oil i opened to try the product. I originally returned the item to mall store but was instructed if i go back to the store i originally purchase they would not charge the re stocking fee. I drive back to the store where i bought it and they tell me they are NOT going to give me all my money back. They have 648 complaints from the BBB in the last 3 years. I purchased a mini pro diffuser and a bottle of oil. I brought the unit home and had it for less than 24 hours. It was placed in a small area and I was unable to smell any of the aroma without standing next to the unit. I was also dissatisfied with the sound when the unit was dispersing scent. I packaged up the unit and tried to return it the following day. I was told there would be a 20 % restocking fee, which is ridiculous when I've had the unit for less than 24 hours. I was also told I would not be able to return the one bottle of oil that I purchased because it had been opened and it would need to be thrown away because they cannot sell an open bottle of oil. However, in the store yesterday, all of the oil bottles were opened so in my opinion, the open bottle that I returned could be used in the store as a sample. I was very dissatisfied with the customer service that we received. After spending almost $200 on this unit and one bottle of oil I was only refunded around $80. This is very disappointing and I will discourage friends and family from purchasing any products from this company. read more

My husband and I purchased the mini pro diffuser from the Phoenix Biltmore store, but when we got it home it did not work. We have been in an endless loop with customer service now because they keep telling us they don't recognize the the order number the sales person from the store gave us.
