Kingstons Best Kebab and Pizza does really have the best kebabs in Kingston…read more I have not tried the pizza yet, but if the pizza is as good as the kebabs then I am definitely trying that. I ordered online and the food was delivered within 15 minutes, it was hot and tasted like a mothers cooking. The prices are very similar to all other home delivery restaurants. I have to say that the portions are very large, a medium size meal would be a large meal at any other restaurant. Considering the sizes of the meals, the prices are very good. Pro's: Delivered quickly, good quality of food, well priced, large portions Con's: No Con's :D

Unfortunately I cannot rate as minus 5 stars, so 1 star has to suffice…read more Having previously ordered online and received fairly palatable meals from Kingston Best Kebabs. I thought I would stop by on the way home from work late tonight and grab a 'quick bite' this was a Huge Mistake!! When I walked in there was nobody behind the counter, but I could hear voices from the kitchen at the rear. I looked at my watch and after just over 3 minutes later what can best be described as a 'scruffy oik' appeared with his iPhone surgically implanted in his ear and was having a chat with someone, he then gestured for me to wait while he finished his 'chinwag'. There is a point in everyone's life where tolerance just goes out of the window, and after about another 2.5 minutes of listening to his gibberish, I then turned tail and walked out of this 'Fast Food' outlet - over 5 minutes without even ordering! I was then followed out of the door and was asked to return with an almost begging tone, which then turned very abusive when I declined to do so. I will never return, or even order online again. The very positive thing to come out of this sorry state of affairs was that I then went to 'The Aroma' further down the road - review to follow.

It is the end of the line. Somewhere you might have woke up before or maybe somewhere you would use…read moreto change transport, but Morden station is a quick, simple and pretty clean interchange. The trains dont actually hit buffers at the end of the line here so you have to get off the train and go up the stair on arrival, but there are many buses to take you onwards such as the 118, 93, 163, 164, K5, 154, 80, 157. It is a typical Art Deco 1930's station, but it wasnt intended to be the end of the line as it was supposed to run onto Sutton, but finances meant that it got stopped early. Appearntly this place is disabled accessable but I think it might be a bit of a nightmare if you were in a wheelchair. Tube trains mostly go up the City branch of the Northern line here, but you can change at Kennington for Charing X (west end) branch trains and services run from about 5am to around midnight and after that the station is the finshing and starting point for the N155 bus

I'm on a roll with reviews of places with literal names - 'Vietnamese Restaurant' is my best find…read moreso far. Well, Morden Fish & Kebabs is a takeaway place near to Morden Tube station selling, well, fish and kebabs. Except that I got a piece of fried chicken there tonight on my way to the Yelp 5-a-side football evening. It was salty and crispy on the outside, it was quite tender on the inside, it was greasy, it was what I needed for a quick fix. However, KFC is still my favourite fried chicken. The fish did look quite inviting - may return for that in the future
