You never know what you will find with different products arriving everyday. Regular specials on already very reasonably priced merchandise. The store is run by all volunteers and all the proceeds go to the Arnprior hospital. Downfalls would be the hours. Would be more convenient if opened past 4 and would be great to have a debit machine but be it run by volunteers and the low cost of items I hardly mind taking an extra 3 mins to hit the bank before I go.

I take great offense to businesses thinking they are entitled to keep MY money and/or tell me how to spend it, (e.g. in their store). The fact that the policy is written/buried in the fine print at the very bottom of the receipt (who reads receipts until after-the-fact anyway???) furthers my impression of being baited without warning. Frankly, I find this practice off putting and a very bad look for a small town business. I absolutely will not be spending any more of my money at Jade and Laney, nor will I recommend that anyone I know shop there because of this policy.

They have a good selection on the shelves. And they have a knowledgeable staff that can make recommendations. I always find myself stumbling across something I never knew I needed. These type of stores are usually a good place for cheap electronic accessories, tools, and kitchen items. This store is no exception. It has a really good electronic accessories and tools. The beauty accessories look to be quite plentiful as well but I can't attest to their quality as they're not of much use to me. They also have a good selection of batteries here.
