Sangria comes from the word "sangre," meaning "blood," which is red--unless you're royalty with blue blood. Just kidding! Everyone makes it with white wine and chopped fruit. In Argentina, that's called "Clericot," which comes from the English term "Claret Cup." Anyway, my congratulations to the excellent Lady bartender, who created a red sangria, her own way--delicious, refreshing, and very flavorful. Remember, sangria is drunk in Spain, mostly in places like Seville in the summer to enjoy that Andalusian sun. We ordered the Baked Brie.
