I should had been there a few minutes early but traffic was a bit against me so I got there on time so not late... when I walked in they didn't blink an eye at that some places give you crap, they did not. Super! which was nice cause I was already full of anxiety about the fillings so I didn't need that extra tension. I had the same dentist I had before cause I wanted her she seemed nice and relaxed! The cleaning was awesome Trish was my hygienist and she was patient and understanding. And my teeth felt great! I had a small lay over waiting for a room for my fillings but that is ok! Not deserving of losing a star. Like I said I get anxiety over the dentist and thought maybe she would allow me to listen to some of my music to get me out of my head and she did! AWESOME! The whole procedure was paced well I did not feel rushed or pushed as I was also the last one of the day! I do not think that if some people have had a bad experience at an Aspen dental location Other than this Concord location.. it should not reflect on THIS branch. Both times I felt I was welcomed wanted and cared for like I was their only patient... what more could you ask fo at a dentist? Well...everyone came togather and said...lets get you back to baseline.. Cleanings..were ok.. they helped get me back to good Ive had 3 or 4 I walked in today and had my final 2 fillings which i needed medication for... After a cleaning this morning that they put in my schedule knowing i dont like to miss work. They suggested, get it done today.. So i did. Im now finally done... I called recently and was told we are not welcome there because that happened. Also I tried to get in touch with Mike but he refused and had his receptionist relay this to me. This to me seems a little extreme for an unfortunate event. She is very good at pulling them out of their shell and getting them to relax while having fun with them. My husband and I see Dr. Blackwelder and he is wonderful. We love that he is primarily concerned with overall health rather than the cosmetic side of things. He doesn't push whitening or braces for adults, etc. He just makes you feel comfortable and if your mouth is healthy, you're good to go. The staff is super friendly and always remembers who you are. We are happy we found a dental practice where we can all go and feel right at home.

Fast forward next appointment was the Monday after Memorial Day weekend at 9am and they called me at 8am to cancel/reschedule because the dentist called out sick conveniently after celebrating the weekend. I called the day before my next appointment expressing my child has step throat and should reschedule and they told me because it's technically under 24 hours away if I didn't show up I couldn't come back. Received the bill and there was a $39.00 charge for fluoride application. Called their office and left a message saying there was no in office application but would be happy to pay for the fluoride packet/materials. They called back 6 days later and claimed I received the fluoride application in office and the packet I received was an "extra", which was not true. Won't be going back to this provider.

I have been a patient for 20+ years, directed to Dr. Bengston by another dentist. That dentist was…read morenot taking new patients, so I asked, "Who is your dentist?" Which seemed a reasonable question. She steered me to this practice and I have been a very satisfied patient for years. I have had my share of restorations, a few crowns, a gold onlay restoration (which I understand is a technically more difficult and less commonly done, but it was extremely well performed and has served me very well), and my routine exams and prophylaxis visits. All of the staff is courteous, helpful, accommodating, and skilled. I could not imagine going anywhere else, unless Dr. B. directed me to do so (needed a root canal and an implant along the way), and he coordinated my treatment with the Endodontics and Oral Surgeon in those two instances, so I did not feel abandoned by optimally cared for. Once the referral work was done Dr. Bengston resumed my care and the final restoration was completed wonderfully.
