Hunter coached me through this process. I can't say enough good things about her. She is professional, kind, and a fantastic listener. She really listens to everything I'm saying and is able to understand and get at the core of what it is I am saying, sometimes before I even know what it really is I'm trying to communicate. Since she was able to understand me so well, she was able to provide me with good takeaways. She also asks great questions that help reveal more insights. I started going through this process with hardly a guess on what I may want to do next. The Inner Compass Process helped me get very clear on what my values are and what talents I want to be utilizing in my next job. Hunter and I talked together about some jobs that involve these values and talents and now I know which job I want to pursue. I even said I'd prefer to not go back to school and we found a job role with no extra education required. Thank you Hunter!

I've…read morebeen working in the same industry for over 20 years and knew I needed out, but honestly has NO CLUE what I wanted to do with my life. I remember during my initial free phone consult, just feeling so completely defeated with no direction... and after only 20 minutes of talking with Hunter, I felt hope for the first time in years. She has such a calmness and kind heart that made me feel at ease opening up to her, yet an indescribable passion and fire that made me believe that at the end of this, I was going to be able to achieve greatness! Even when I didn't believe in myself, I truly felt that she did, and that kept me going. The way this program works is really magical. Danielle did a great job of putting this together, because I honestly do not think I would have finished with the same outcome, using another method. It takes you back to your childhood and forces you to dig deep into distant memories, both happy and sad, and really has you dissect the reasons behind the feelings of these memories and why they had the impact they did. It continues to move on throughout your life, thinking of situations and stories that left both good and bad tastes in your mouth, and then goes back and compares these to the childhood memories. It's amazing the patterns and similarities that I discovered along the way. As fascinating as this all was, at the halfway point of the program, I still had absolutely no idea where this was leading and if I'd ever be able to find something that was right for me. I started to worry that I was not going to be a success story, like all those I read about in the Yelp and Google reviews, and I may have just wasted my money. I expressed these concerns to Hunter and she reassured me that this was NOT going to be the case. She said that she believed in me and my journey and that she knew we would find the perfect career path that was meant for me, so I had no other choice but to trust her. I always left my zoom meetings with Hunter, feeling so hopeful and truly inspired! I remember telling her on one of our first sessions, that I always felt so good after talking with her, that I wanted to do what she did! I told her that I wanted to be someone's Hunter; the reason someone smiled again, found their confidence and felt hopeful for a better future, after coming from a place of negativity and defeat. Even though I said this early on, it didn't hit me until much later in the game, that I my true passion was in coaching. I have decided to leave my long time career aviation and go into wellness coaching, focusing on fitness, nutrition and mindfulness. Never in a million years, would I have come into this program thinking I'd have a skills or bravery to leave the corporate world and start my own coaching business, but that is exactly what I am in the process of doing! I owe Hunter more thanks and appreciation than I will ever be able to express, for this truly insane and much needed career transformation!

I am so grateful for her guidance, and I think it would be difficult to find a more gifted career/life coach! She didn't offer to write my resume and cover letter for me. Instead, she challenged me to do the deep work necessary to discover a position/workplace which fit my values, played to to my strengths, and would offer more balance and fulfillment in my life. Isn't that what we all want anyway?! Her knowledge, expertise, as well as the wealth of resources she provided, were invaluable to my successful career transition. I have never met a more skilled cognitive coach. Rather than answering all my questions, she first ensured I was asking the right questions and empowered me to answer them for myself. Whether you are an educator or a business professional, you will be in more than capable hands with Nikki and Next Horizon Consulting.

Alexa's incredibly personable and genuinely wanted to get to know me and my story. She digs below surface-level discussion by using various tools to help with deeper contemplation and discussion about values and how they shaped my career goals. Also, on a practical level, Alexa is one of those great "connector" types. She seems to know someone in every industry/company in town (not exaggerating). I'm much happier now primarily because I'm better matched in an industry/role that fits my personality. I strongly recommend Alexa to anyone who's exploring a new career direction or just needs a boost with their job hunt.

About a year and a half later, I realized I wanted to take a new direction with my career, and again I turned to Alexa for guidance. She helped me to identify aspects of my previous jobs that I loved and ones I didn't care for, and expanded my knowledge about what was out there that would be a good fit for me. Amy gave me the confidence I needed to dive into the job hunt. The main reason I chose Amy was because of her approach to coaching where she focused on strengths, values and positivity. What I loved the most about working with her was that her recommendations were always based on who I am as a person. She spent a lot of time getting to know me, which helped the both of us become grounded in who I am. She listened to me with energy and without judgement. Although she was technically my "career coach", she organically gave thoughtful advice that helped guide my new life, which I didn't realize I needed until these sessions. When I felt bad about not prioritizing my job search, she encouraged me to take the time I needed to build healthy habits that would stick with me for the rest of my life (meditation, running, yoga). After moving across the country without a secure job and without my family around for emotional support, Amy was really the first person to tell me that I should be confident in the skills I had going into my new life here in Colorado. Above all, she showed me how I can lean into my personal strengths, by helping me see how even my softest skills can be used to make me stand out in the work place. As someone fresh into their career, it was incredibly helpful for me to learn how to tailor my experience & personal strengths to fit the job requirements in even an unrelated field. When there were long periods of time in between sessions and I'd feel unsure again about my decision to quit my job in NYC and move to Denver, I'd meet with Amy and she'd remind me that I am more than capable of making this work. I loved my time working with Amy and feel grateful for the confidence she gave me to succeed!
