My experience at AppleOne was excellent. The staff is very professional. They are thorough getting to know and your skills/abilities so they can match you with employers. They have an extensive network of clients to help match you with one. Specifically Angelica helped me. By the time I got home from the interview with her, she had already called me with a potential match! I am 50 years old with lots of experience/history, so maybe not the traditional client. I have never used an employment agency before but am now totally turned on to the idea! I had my resume posted on ziprecruiter and got a call from Lindsey at AppleOne same day. She asked me questions to figure out all my skills, even ones I hadn't thought about. Not only was she trying to find the right fit for their client, but the right fit for me. I was immediately setup with an interview with one of their clients and she gave me all the info I needed, and more! Terrible service! No email returns, no calls back, no nothing. Feels like I've never even started working with them. I've requested numerous times to email back my revised resume, but again no response. Andrea, the senior manager, is particularly the worst. Senior? My experience with AppleOne so far has been great! When I went in to register, it was clear they were all very busy and in a state of disarray due to painting of the offices, but they still very pleasantly greeted me and explained things and made me feel quite welcome. Lorna, whom I had previously only spoken to by phone, came out of her office to personally greet me when she heard I was there, even though someone else was already helping me. Follow-up communication has been good, I just submitted my first online timesheet and the process couldn't have been easier. Unfortunately, the other reviews on here seem to be correct. I interviewed Tuesday and haven't heard back from Lindsey yet. I've emailed and called. The two other agencies I've worked with have all sent back correspondence no matter the outcome. I get the feeling they only care about the number of new recruits and then they disregard you once you're registered. I understand things may be in high volume but I find the lack of communication from this place appalling. I'd recommend looking elsewhere for work because this place is a dead end. ----------update 7/28/15--------- Lindsey called me back and explained she had been ill and hadn't heard back from the client at the time. She then called me back this morning as soon as she heard back from the client and is working with me I to get this job. I'm glad the communication is there and I can't fault someone for being sick. Apple One, Greeley, CO still not helpful. I communicate mostly through email thinking it is more convenient. Emails are not followed up most of the time. I do not call frequently. But when I do, I sense a pattern of excuses. When I make an attempt with a phone call, there is usually no call back. Then there is "the excuse" (very busy or sick) on MY second attempt when my call gets answered. It is hit and miss and mostly a miss. I get the impression that there is not much organization of communication. And there is a lack of a standardized way to acknowledge interested and prospective employees. I feel like the girls working for Apple One have a helpful, caring tone of voice but not much intention to actually provide much assistance in the job search. So the tone of voice does not match the quality of job search assistance. They have a very nice office but I am left wondering how they pay for it and several employees. My experience leaves me feeling unappreciated after jumping through the application hoops. I have done my best to maintain a good working record and have no background that would prohibit me from qualifying for employment. read more

This place is not exactly for real. Say you see an ad for a great job on monster.com or some other job website. It says call Apple One. 9 times out of 10 that job is a fake job put there by Apple One employees to attract temp workers. How do I know this? My wife worked there a few years ago. Maybe they will get you a job. We just found this way of bait and switch advertising unethical. Hopefully they don't do this anymore. read more

I was looking for a temporary job to get back into the workplace after going to school for several months. I'd seen AppleOne's ads in several online job lists so I decided to go to the source. I jumped through the hoops, I went through the process. I filled out the paperwork and met with my job counselor. With high hopes I left them to work their magic! Two weeks go by and I haven't heard a word. So I call my counselor and I get blown off. She had more pressing emails to answer. I was told I should hop on the Internet and find a job then email her the details so that she can find similar jobs. I simply contacted other more reputable services. I can say I am happily employed now. But you should definitely not do what I did and waste your time and energy with AppleOne. read more

This company is HORRIBLE! They charge businesses a ton of money and then pay people very little. The people who work there have no skills to work with people, I have sat on hold EVERY time I call because no one, including the manager Shannon had a clue what is going on. I was contacted by AppleOne for a possible position that the hiring company allegedly filled internally. I had left 3 messages for the AppleOne representative to call me, with no response. On one occasion I asked the person answering the phone some questions and she did volunteer information and let me know she would have the rep who spoke with me call in a few minutes. That was several days ago. Not certain about the customer service level of this office. Perhaps times are just changing and this is what I should expect. read more

I just registered with AppleOne and am sorely disappointed. My career counselor is Lindsay Bowman, who was professional and extremely nice. However, she was going to send me a job advertisement and never did. I emailed her as a reminder and she did not reply. I called AppleOne and was told "She is busy" and they took my message. I still haven't heard back. Reading other reviews and with this experience tells me Lindsay is either not being truthful or doesn't care. For someone who desperately needs a job this organization isn't worth the frustration. I think it is interesting that the on-line application and in my discussion with Lindsay, both kept bringing up to Tell Them what jobs I am applying for. It comes across that YOU do the work to find the job and THEY try to integrate themselves with the employer to get a contract. In other words, YOU are working for THEM for FREE. read more
