I ordered online what I thought was a Rock Island LA410 five round shotgun. The picture shown on the RIA website as well as all other pictures on the internet show a magazine tube that does not extend to the end of the barrel. When I received the firearm, the magazine tube was extended to the end of the barrel which I initially thought was great. Then I found out that the front seven inches of the tube was blocked preventing rounds to enter this area. This is STUPID - add another seven inches of weight to the gun and not allow an additional two rounds! The picture and parts diagram in the users manual even showed a picture of the firearm with the shorter magazine tube! I phoned RIA and repeatedly got a recording to leave a message. I finally got through to a real person who said his name was Neil. I told him of my dissatisfaction of the firearm. He asked for the serial number and told me to email him a photo of the firearm which I did. I heard nothing back. I sent two additional emails asking for a possible solution - a shortened magazine tube or a fully functional long magazine tube. Still I heard nothing back. I think the forend and magazine tube may be press fitted and can not be removed. That's probably why I haven't heard back. The parts diagram in the users manual doesn't even show how the stock is fastened! The discrepancies go on and on. The users manual says it has a 2 3/4" chamber while the actual firearm is stamped 2 1/2". The firearm is stamped "AGLA410" which is the synthetic stock model and not the "LA410" which is the wood stock model I received. The firearm is also stamped "proof tested" whatever that means. This is not my first experience with their terrible customer service. I also own a Rock Island M14Y Youth Rifle which I'm very happy with. I wanted a replacement stock for it and I was told that it was not available. I was even willing to buy another entire rifle but you can't find one anywhere, yet it remains on their website as still in production. Beware of RIA customer service. I bought a new 1911 from them and the slide would not lock open on an empty factory magazine. They claimed they test fired it and sent it out anyhow. After returning it for repair I again have slide lock issues and can't get anyone and can't get my questions answered despite chats, calls, and emails. I like the gun, the accuracy and features but regret buying this brand. Looking at the other reviews here they apparently don't plan on changing their customer service practices. read more

Great customer service! I bought their RIA 1911 2nd hand (from a friend) and after taking it to the range a hand full of times, I was running into operation issues. I sent to off to their customer service/repair team and they did a great job replacing the necessary parts and getting it back to me quickly. The process was easy and they stand by their product! I can't review their customer service, because I can't reach anyone, automated system gives you one option, you're on hold for 30 minutes, then you get sent back to the automated system, rinse and repeat, I sent an email two days ago, have not heard back, and the chatbot on the website, gives me those same two contacts. read more

I purchased an Armscor Citadel 1911 pistol. I was having issues with feeding and the brass was being damaged. I was told to fill out a warranty request form and send in the pistol. All I received were crickets for weeks. I wrote back and finally received a label to send the pistol in for repairs. A month goes by and the pistol is returned. No explanation of repairs or replacement parts was given. I call in and finally get through to a person called Ailyn. I explain the situation and she asks for the serial number. I give her the number and they can't find it in their system. I give her the invoice number, and she finds the repair order but is not able to give me any further details. She says "if you insist, I can speak to the gunsmith". I said yes please do, I would like to understand what was repaired. She gives me the same details again. I am not confident anything has been done to this pistol. I can't find any evidence of repair. I sent a clean firearm and it was returned filthy. That was the only thing I found. If I could give a "zero" star review, I would. I bought a brand new FNH FNX-45 in January of 2022. I went to my local gun store, Sheepdog Gun Armory in North Las Vegas, NV to purchase 100 rounds of Armscor 230 grain .45 ACP FMJ ammunition. Took my new pistol to the Clark County Gun Range on Januart 29th, 2022 to try out my new pistol. Shot 47 rounds of Armscor .45 ACP ammunition through it, and on the 48th round, I got a double charged round that blew the breach of the gun apart... IN MY HAND!!! The gun was destroyed, the magazine was in pieces, and the people shooting next to me were scared out of their wits. The range master and 7 others were witness to this and a range accident claim with the range was made. I contacted Armscor via their "live chat" on January 31st, 2022 and spoke to "Ailyn" who told me she was on this case and said someone would get back to me within 24 to 48 hours, which I have records of. Took the gun to Sheepdog Gun Armory on January 31st, 2022 and showed them what had happened, and Roger, the owner took pictures and emailed them the issue at hand. Roger was told that they wanted to speak to me regarding this, but after more than a dozen attempts to call, all I got was their revolving hold music for over 30 minutes each time I called. Over a month went by and no word from anyone at Armscor. A month after this, Roger was notified by Armscor to ship my gun, the remaining ammunition and the spent defective round to them, which happened on the 9th of March, 2022, and was told that Armscor would be in contact with me ASAP. Now it is April 14th, 2022, and no answer from them, and still getting the 30 minute revolving hold music everytime I call. The owner of Sheepdog Gun Armory has called as well, with the same results. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS... AT ALL!!! JUST DO THE RIGHT THING AND GET MY GUN REPAIRED!!! Unfortunately, at this time, I have no other recourse at this time, but to get the Nye County Sheriffs Department involved just so I can get my pistol and ammunition back from them... UNREPAIRED!!! What an extreme dereliction of customer service... stay away from this company, and stay away from their faulty products!!! read more

I bought a 1911 Dbl Stack 10 mm pistol in late 2017. As of today 01/13/2020, I have yet been able to shoot this pistol! Every time I fire a round the magazine falls out, I put back in , cycle the slide, fire another round, the magazine falls out! My dealer visited w/ Armscor @ the 2018 SHOT Show. they admited there was a problem , the magwell was cast too large, and they were working on a cure and would notify the dealer on how to solve the problem, after repeated phone calls to Armscor which were never returned. My dealer was finally able to get an RMA # and was advised to send the pistol to Armscor repair facility in Ohio.this was in mid to late 2018. WE never heard another word from Armscor - RIA . again repeated phone calls were unreturned In November 2019 the gun was returned un-repaired to my dealer. A note said that the Ohio facility could repair the pistol. the dealer was advised to ship it Armscor in Nevada. Dealer received an RMA again and shiped the pistol by UPS o 11/12/2019, it was received in Nevada 5 days later. the dealer was never informed of the receipt of the pistol. I called RIA customer service today 01/13/2020. I was informed by customer service that the pistol was interred in their system on 12/16/2019. However the customer service rep Sara said could finnd out the status of the pistol and would have to call me back when she had an answer for me. I have been told by other sources that over 600 of these pistols have been returned to RIA. I will never buy another firearm from RIA, as their customer service is a joke!
