The process is different though, You pick what you want and write it on paper that they provide and go to the desk and pay. We had such a great experience buying our fireworks here today! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. One of the gal's accompanied us up and down the aisles helping us pick out everything we wanted. I think her name was Janine. It was so nice having a knowledgeable personal shopper. She had a great personality and was wonderful with our 5 year old granddaughter. When we checked out we were expecting to pay a $5.00 fee, but the cashier told us we didn't have to because the fireworks we were purchasing weren't illegal in Las Vegas. We bought similar items last year at Red Apple Fireworks, but they charged us that $5.00. On my way down to Nevada, I called into the store and spoke to Chris, he was so helpful explaining about the sale, and what I needed to do when I arrived. He even stayed on the phone with me going over certain cakes that were available. Chris gave me the time to look into YouTube for display purposes, he really sold me on Switching from my Regular Firework store in Pahrump to BlackJacks, hands down, some of the best workers there to help with all my questions and needs. As I entered the store, Cody the store manager set me up with Heather who helped me pick out all the good deals they had, she was super patient as I was YouTubing each item I was picking. The store manager (Cody) was also really cool down to earth guy who wont just sell you crap. I'm so glad I had a great experience there. I'm definitely gonna be a regular to support this store. I learned so much in my few hours in the store with them. As I went out to pick up my wholesale order, there was 3 guys there, unboxing all my purchases and helped me stack my products in the car, they worked hard in the heat with no complaints, i gave them some cash for drinks just to show my appreciation. UPDATED Well not only did the level of service drastically decline, the prices are ridiculous. If you are looking for wholesale pricing this is no longer the place. Mt Rushmore special..$150 for one and you get two free. Their staff knows little to nothing about their products. Used to be they all knew the product and were excited to show the latest stuff. The manager appeared very frustrated with the people crowding the tiny wholesale table and asking questions. I wouldn't have been surprised if she had called them idiots because her the tone of her voice said it all. It's my understanding that they were bought out by Area 51 which I've never been to so maybe it was a way to eliminate the competition? I called the store twice this week and once last week and the employer heather who picks up the phone and starts screaming like I barley asked a question for me to be coherent with her and she just yells through the phone like helloooooo I can't hear youuu. This just didn't happen once it happen twice already she's very unprofessional she needs counseling and she needs to be nice to us customers more it just seems like she comes to work bringing her personal life problems and takes her anger out on us customers . Went here for the first time on Monday 10/25/2021 to get stuff for Halloween. They only had two of the four things I really wanted to get. The spectral bats novelties and ghost dragon cake were out of stock. Thankfully the King Dragon and Ghostacular canister shell cases were available. I lucked out on the Ghostacular shells being wholesale at the time. Instead of buying one for I think it was $125 or $135, I got three for $175 exactly. Didn't even have to pay tax on it. Now that's a good deal. I also wanted to get the large silver spinner barrage roman candle, but it was a part of the buy one get two free "deal." The friendly employee helping me explained it when I first walked in. I'm not a fan of it because it really just gets you to spend more money. It was $90 for three. That breaks down to $30 each, which is the standard retail amount it should be. But I don't want to have to buy three when I only want one. However, you can't get one for $30. If you get just one, then you still have to pay the $90 for it. A HUGE mark-up! $200 for three cakes comes down to $66 for each one. It just doesn't sit well with me. You can mix and match stuff, but I shouldn't have to. So I ended up not getting anything else. You can still get certain products that have a single unit price, though those items are still going to be the most expensive. Probably over $100 easily. At least they have a few cakes and canister shells that Red Apple doesn't carry. So I might be back the next time I'm in town. read more

I came to this location looking for smaller items like fountains that my 1yr old might enjoy and they did have a pretty decent amount of items. There were some deals like buy 1 get 2 free like most places which was nice, but those were for selected items. We tried to find staff members to help us figure out which ones work for the coupons but nobody was around except hanging out at the counter talking to eachother. We tried to get help but they kept walking passed us when we asked for help. This place is a bit overpriced compared to some of the other locations. If they can get more staff members to help out in the floor area i might be back. read more

Unfortunately they had outrageous prices, didn't make an effort to sell me anything. After stupidly buying a mixed cake set, I left and went to Blackjack. And wow was I impressed, not only did they have a great selection of fireworks, the manager April was an amazing saleswomen and overall a genuine person. Came in a couple weeks ago to explore Pahrump's firework options and had a great experience with one of the cashiers explaining the process. The only compliant that I cannot look over would be that when I was doing a bundle purchase with the cashier. The manager, Alex, came up to me and introduced himself. When he got close I could tell he didn't shower. Then, he was talking down to the same cashier in front of us who was extremely helpful. What a rip off....go to literally any place but here. They make it seem at first that you'll be getting a buy 1 get 1/2/3 free... but you may as well be buying them at the same price. They were selling a 5 shot Saturn missile for $11.99....really? I could go down the block to Phantom or Area 51 and get that for like $1.50 ....this place was just way too pricey for my liking. On the plus side...the staff was very nice and helpful. I just wish the prices here were a little more competitive for the area. :( read more

I hadn't been to a fireworks store in Pahrump before. I didn't know what to expect, which one to go to and didn't want to buy too quickly and blow my budget. I stopped at Blackjack and it was early in the day. I was the only one in the store. It is a large store, lots of space and they had recently redone the floors so they were redoing the inventory setup. It was clean, well organized and the most obvious thing was that they were ready to help. There were two ladies and they were both really helpful. They explained the color coded pricing and how many you get for the price, 1, 2, 3 or 4 for the price listed. They offered honest suggestions on big sellers and not the most expensive. They all allowed for some mixing and matching so you don't over purchase and get too much of the same item or items. I left the store, buying a little more than expected, but that was my choice. I gotta say for a first timer I would definitely return. No problems here. C read more
