We all like to keep to our schedule but my schedule is anything but predictive and that's where Darron is so valuable because with as little as a couple hours notice he has dropped what he's doing to go and give me an assessment on one of my roofs and many times that's all it is, it is merely him taking an hour out of his day to go properly deliver me a roof inspection and come back and tell me Rex that house does not need a roof. I've always been able to count on him to be honest and trustworthy and have never had another roofing company or an insurance adjuster dispute his findings and his honesty which is vital when trying to build value into a home you have listed or that your buyer is purchasing. Over the past 12 months I have reached out to Mr. Darron White over 65 times resulting in over 40 or more total roof replacements or repairs necessary to make sure the buyers insurance will cover the clients roof at closing by gettin it to an insurability status. I just make one call and I forget about it and there has been 2 times one of them today when I called Mr. White and told him I was closing on Monday and he's putting the roof on tomorrow So it will meet then dead line set forth in the contract so we can meet the closing schedule, Now this was done while he was trying to enjoy vacation with his family. After Calling Mr. White/Owner for an estimate on some hail damage I had received after a significant storm out in Highland Oaks in Lubbock Texas, He quickly came out assessed my roofs situation and was very knowledgeable about what roof was previously on and what I should go back to better protect my home in the future. I was a little surprised that the owner himself took the time to come and visit with me but I'm glad he did because he was knowledgeable and helpful every step of the way. What I found impressive was Mr. White was willing to take my calls at any time and not only took the time to explain the situation but to explain it in a way that I could understand where I was at ease. The work they did was done quickly and efficiently and I was impressed with the way his crew gave special attention to detail and extra care so as not to damage any landscaping or vehicles. ABF put a new roof on my house 5 years ago. Until we had the recent heavy rains there hadn't been a…read moreleak. I have a flat roof and they are notorious for leakage. I had been diligent to keep leaves off the roof so they wouldn't clog the drains, but the company that had been cleaning the roof stopped working for me. After they left, we had a surge in rainstorms, flooding the roof. I was unable to find anyone to get up on the roof to clean the leaves off so the drains became stopped up with leaves. Unable to drain, the water was unable to run off. creating a lake on top of my house. When I contacted ABF about it, they sent two men to check the blockage. They opened the drains and the water gushed out of the drains to empty the water off the roof. They discovered a small area up the wall and repaired it. The hole was at least a foot higher than the roof floor. I was appreciative that the men came out so quickly to handle the problem, and that they handled it while they were here. The men were polite and professional. They knew what they were doing and did it quickly. ABF has my business for sure!

He came out the next day and finished the job. That was good follow through, but the service got even better as Jerry Andrus also came by our house to make sure everything was completed. He was very nice, and that was an awesome gesture to double-check and make sure everything was done as we had initially spoke about. I'm a firm believer that mistakes do sometimes happen, and that's okay as long as you overcome those mistakes and make them right. I was promised some things in the contract before the but found once the started. They were trying to pull back and charge me certain extras that we had agreed would be included in the price. None of the workers that showed up were local or English speaking. So communication was very difficult. I had issues after was installed, and it was very apparent at that time that this company really didn't know a whole lot about metal . I explained to them that water was not rolling off my back patio in the proper manner and was cupping underneath the ceiling of my covered patio creating water damage as time went on. They couldn't offer me an educated explanation as to why that was happening nor could they give me a decent remedy for fixing the problem. After a lot of wasted time. Coming down to Austin from Lubbock (their home base) after a hail storm should have been a red flag especially when they didn't have a local crew. My personal opinion is that maybe they grew too fast and lost the roots of the business which would be customer service as well as learning how to manage money.
