This is when I discovered how vital having a close friend and a competent roofer can be in today's real estate market. I listed over 40 homes in the past 12 months and every single house must as part of the inspection has to have a roof inspected and not all inspectors have a go to but having Mr. White on speed dial has proved priceless. We all like to keep to our schedule but my schedule is anything but predictive and that's where Darron is so valuable because with as little as a couple hours notice he has dropped what he's doing to go and give me an assessment on one of my roofs and many times that's all it is, it is merely him taking an hour out of his day to go properly deliver me a roof inspection and come back and tell me Rex that house does not need a roof. I've always been able to count on him to be honest and trustworthy and have never had another roofing company or an insurance adjuster dispute his findings and his honesty which is vital when trying to build value into a home you have listed or that your buyer is purchasing. I honestly Consider him a partner and a vital part of my success thus far in the Real Estate World. Over the past 12 months I have reached out to Mr. Darron White over 65 times resulting in over 40 or more total roof replacements or repairs necessary to make sure the buyers insurance will cover the clients roof at closing by gettin it to an insurability status. If you are a realtor in today's market and you don't have a partner like Darron your job is much much harder than it has to be. I just make one call and I forget about it and there has been 2 times one of them today when I called Mr. White and told him I was closing on Monday and he's putting the roof on tomorrow So it will meet then dead line set forth in the contract so we can meet the closing schedule, Now this was done while he was trying to enjoy vacation with his family. Darron has yet to ignore one of my calls since my first 20 years ago and for this I am grateful!!! So if you need a partner Prestige is you pic. After Calling Mr. White/Owner for an estimate on some hail damage I had received after a significant storm out in Highland Oaks in Lubbock Texas, He quickly came out assessed my roofs situation and was very knowledgeable about what roof was previously on and what I should go back to better protect my home in the future. I was a little surprised that the owner himself took the time to come and visit with me but I'm glad he did because he was knowledgeable and helpful every step of the way. What I found impressive was Mr. White was willing to take my calls at any time and not only took the time to explain the situation but to explain it in a way that I could understand where I was at ease. The work they did was done quickly and efficiently and I was impressed with the way his crew gave special attention to detail and extra care so as not to damage any landscaping or vehicles. Also their attention to detail during the cleanup was something I did not expect. Since that time I have used Mr. White on numerous occasions and continue to refer him to all of my clients that have any roofing or construction needs in Lubbock and the surrounding areas. ABF put a new roof on my house 5 years ago. Until we had the recent heavy rains there hadn't been a…read moreleak. I have a flat roof and they are notorious for leakage. I had been diligent to keep leaves off the roof so they wouldn't clog the drains, but the company that had been cleaning the roof stopped working for me. After they left, we had a surge in rainstorms, flooding the roof. I was unable to find anyone to get up on the roof to clean the leaves off so the drains became stopped up with leaves. Unable to drain, the water was unable to run off. creating a lake on top of my house. When I contacted ABF about it, they sent two men to check the blockage. They opened the drains and the water gushed out of the drains to empty the water off the roof. They discovered a small area up the wall and repaired it. The hole was at least a foot higher than the roof floor. I was appreciative that the men came out so quickly to handle the problem, and that they handled it while they were here. The men were polite and professional. They knew what they were doing and did it quickly. ABF has my business for sure!

I have to be honest and…read moresay I was leary on choosing a company I had not heard of also my last roofing job was done by a friend's relative and had a negative experience. John did a great job explaining the details of what was going to be done. We were impressed by him because other bigger name local companies were just in and out and didn't seem to really give a damn if we chose their company or not. Armor did exactly what was expected and more John was able to increase our claim by pointing out some things that the insurance adjuster missed. Luckily our insurance USAA adjusted the claim and we were able to get out chimney completely redone and reinforced because the original contractor did poor craftsmanship. I was surprised the chimney didn't come crashing down during the strong winds we had a few months ago. We were so satisfied with the roof work that we decided to hire Armor to put up a brand new privacy fence with a beautiful stain at a more appealing price versus the big name local fence companies.
