He quoted window replacement (for a significant amount less than an out of town company quoted a couple years ago), skirting replacement, and replacing a couple of siding panels. There was a miscommunication about the scheduled start date and they were short some skirting materials that extended the finish date. The crew (Henry and Greg) were polite, considerate, and skilled. They never left the house open - as quick as they pulled a window out they had a new one in - and even though they couldn't finish the skirting they used other material to keep the underside closed until they did finish. And the trim they installed around the inside of the windows looks great! Dave came by when the work was done to inspect the job and collect the check, waiting until the job was all the way finished to ask for payment. I will recommend D & B Ultra Exteriors to anyone that needs windows, siding, or skirting.

ABF put a new roof on my house 5 years ago. Until we had the recent heavy rains there hadn't been a…read moreleak. I have a flat roof and they are notorious for leakage. I had been diligent to keep leaves off the roof so they wouldn't clog the drains, but the company that had been cleaning the roof stopped working for me. After they left, we had a surge in rainstorms, flooding the roof. I was unable to find anyone to get up on the roof to clean the leaves off so the drains became stopped up with leaves. Unable to drain, the water was unable to run off. creating a lake on top of my house. When I contacted ABF about it, they sent two men to check the blockage. They opened the drains and the water gushed out of the drains to empty the water off the roof. They discovered a small area up the wall and repaired it. The hole was at least a foot higher than the roof floor. I was appreciative that the men came out so quickly to handle the problem, and that they handled it while they were here. The men were polite and professional. They knew what they were doing and did it quickly. ABF has my business for sure!

I was a little surprised that the owner himself took the time to come and visit with me but I'm glad he did because he was knowledgeable and helpful every step of the way. During the project, his crew busted one of our sprinkler lines and also cut our internet line. We immediately brought the sprinkler damage to his attention, and we were assured that someone would come out that same day to repair it. No one ever showed up. Since then, we've reached out three more times, and each time we've either been ignored or received no response at all. At this point, he's completely stopped communicating with us and has made no effort to fix the damage his crew caused. Mistakes can happen on any job, but what matters is how it's handled. Instead of taking responsibility, we were given empty promises and then completely ghosted. The lack of communication, false assurances, and refusal to make things right have been incredibly unprofessional. After spending $8,500, we expected quality work and accountability. Instead, we were left with damaged property, unanswered messages, and a contractor who refused to stand behind his work. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this company.
