Fidelity National Home Warranty told me to call them for repairs to a refrigerator. Called them for seven days and never got a return call.

He diagnosed the problem, said he would have to order the part, and informed me what the repair would cost. I paid for the repair and was contacted a couple days later when the part arrived. The technician installed the part, but unfortunately, that did not fix the issue. A new diagnostic revealed it was a different part and the manufacturer said they no longer make or supply it, so I would need to purchase a new oven. I was not upset about any of this, just a but bummed that I had spent several hundred dollars for a repair that didn't help. To my surprise, Gold Coast informed me they would be refunding all charges above the standard diagnostic fee, including what I paid for the part. The refund arrived a couple days later. I was highly impressed that they were willing to eat the cost of a part in order to maintain good customer relations. I was skeptical of initially contacting them because their website makes it seem as if they work on nothing but refrigeration, freezer, and ice machines. I am so happy to find out they work on all major appliances and I will definitely be calling them for any future needs.

Fearing the threat of many dollars in frozen food defrosting, I called Gold Coast, my first time using them. Luck was on my side & Aaron arrived the same day I called. He was on time, friendly, professional and thorough. I appreciate any service professional who isn't pushy when it comes to repairing vs. just buying a newer appliance, which is what Aaron suggested since the repair cost would be close to a new freezer cost, so my new freezer arrives in a few days. I felt the price for the service call was fair based on the time Aaron spent diagnosing the problem. I wouldn't hesitate to call Gold Coast again; I highly recommend them. A+++

I'd be surprised they didn't go out of business soon just because of how unprofessional she is. Get help lady!

One quick call and Nicole set up a same day appointment and followed up with texts to let us know when they would arrive. Adam and Kyle quickly diagnosed our refrigerator issue and had it back up an running immediately. We couldn't be happier and their service rates are extremely reasonable. 5 star service!!

The tech (Adam) came in and at the door, he asked whether it was okay to enter with shoes! Really? We are in the 21st century, who does that? I asked him to put plastic shoe covers I keep near main door. He was happy doing that. When he saw we had a Samsung fridge that is making ice at the bottom shelf, he did not even check the problem. I wondered to myself, how did Adam know what the problem was without checking? Well, he stated that he knew what the problem was from his experience. According to him, some part in the section of the fridge at top labeled "Twin Cooling Plus" was at fault, and needed to be replaced. Estimated part cost $249, plus a labor cost of $300 (Total $549). He asked me whether to order the part. Well, having been cleaning this "hard-to-remove" ice for several weeks, I quickly agreed. He stated he would call me to schedule when the part arrived. A few hours later (instinctively), I decided to check with Samsung. They connected me with their local service provider. The tech listened to my problem description and asked me to pay $140 to schedule service. He stated there would be an additional charge of $60 after the service was completed. If a part was needed, that would be extra. So, I gathered that if the part cost as CCAS had told me ($249), Samsung be a better choice for the service with a total charge of $449 ($100 cheaper that CCAS). I decided to think about it for 2 days. On the third day, I called CCAS to cancel. They told me that the part had already been ordered and arrived; so, if I cancelled, I would have to pay a restocking fee of 25%, plus shipping charges to and fro for a total of $68. I immediately refuted it, but Adam told me they would send it to collections. I told him to invoice me to give time to think about it. Meanwhile, I paid Samsung $140 and scheduled service. The following week, a Samsung tech came by. He asked that I remove the foods in the fridge to leave it clear. He proceeded with removing the shelves and opening the cover at back of fridge. After about 15 minutes, the tech I informed me that the water was leaking from an iced blocked pipe at back of fridge. He removed it, cleaned it out, and put it back. He then told me the problem should be fixed now. He gave me a 90-day warranty and asked me to call them should the problem resurface. Since I had paid $140 earlier, the tech said I needed to pay nothing else. What? Just saved $409 (549-$140) by skipping CCAS! Talk of experience that Adam mentioned - had he taken the time to check the problem, he would perhaps have learned that I did not need a costly part (especially for a 2019 reputable manufacturer's appliance). A few days later, an invoice of $68 arrived in the mail from CCAS as promised. Now, after receiving it, I asked myself: I didn't even need this part had Adam taken the time to diagnose the problem as expected. Why am I even paying the $68? According to Adam, it was because I asked him to order the part he had GUESSED was needed. Think about that for a moment. Now, for future would-be customers, figure this for yourself as you prepare to call CCAS. I am just so done with them.
