What stood out to us was how honest and realistic he was. He asked thoughtful questions about our goals, lifestyle, and budget, and drew from his years of experience to help us think through what made sense for us. He made sure we were fully informed throughout the process and provided honest guidance. Six months later, we reconnected and realized we were actually ready to buy sooner than we expected. Throughout the entire process, Arin kept us informed every step of the way and was incredibly supportive during escrow. Whenever there were hiccups, he reassured us he was doing everything he could, and he delivered every time. We're now in an amazing first home, and we're so grateful for his help. Two of my sisters have worked with him as well, and I know we'll be reaching out to him again in a few years when we're ready for our next property!

He pulled me in with misleading rate information, pushed hard to get me to lock the rate, then disappeared the moment I locked the rate. After the lock, he stopped answering calls, ignored emails, and was unreachable even on closing day. On top of that, be prepared for hidden fees and costs that were never clearly disclosed. He even asked me to sign documents while telling me to ignore incorrect information inside them. The whole process felt sloppy and careless, and it created unnecessary stress. This has been the worst mortgage experience I've had across multiple home purchases. His mortgage product options were extremely limited, the service was unprofessional, and the entire experience was a mess. I would strongly encourage anyone to avoid Arin and work with a larger, more reputable lender. I even cut ties with the person who recommended him because the service was that bad. The other one-star review on here make complete sense now. Avoid at all costs.

The next morning I called their office and spoke to Robert Rincon. He verified my identification and he asked me a series of questions and requested some documents. He said he would take about an hour to process the application. He called me back later in the morning and said I could pick up the check in Pasadena in the afternoon. I stopped by the next afternoon to pick up the check. The branch doesn't have a parking lot. There is one hour meter parking on Lake. Every spot on the street was taken. I noticed on the other side of the street about a half a block away there were a few fifteen minutes parking spots. I selected a spot and walked to the branch. I was in and out in less than five minute. The branch is open full days during the week and a half a day on Saturday.

By the time they finally fixed it, I had already closed my accounts and moved my banking elsewhere.
