Service sucks , some of these waitress are rude without any customer service experience . Specially the red hair waitress . I ordered 4 pupusas and an order of plátanos . My pupusas should have been 2 frijol con queso and 2 revueltas . Good took forever to get to our table and then my pupusas were wrong all I tasted was cheese and beans . My ordered was "fixed" but only one replacement pupusas was given to me after I was told they would bring my food right away . I told the waitress it's suppose to be 2 she said yes they are cooking it . It would have been nice to have that communicated with me . When my order of plátanos finally arrived they were not ripped very dry . The pupusa that was my replacement I thought it was another beans and cheese . I couldn't taste the chicharrón all o tastes was that cheese they use with the beans . They don't come check on you , at all so if you need something you have to get up and go find them . Don't waste your money here . The food is not good .

Plato Tipico: pupusas revueltas, frijoles con crema, y platanos. Tambien Slavadoran empanadas platanos.

Best pupusas in LA hands down! I've searched far & wide and I actually stumbled jumpin this place on accident looking for another pupusa spot. I'm sure glad I did because I now drive from Van Nuys just for the pupusas when there are dozens of Salvadoran spots in my zip code. The pupusas are always hot off the grill with never ending cheese strings. The beans are phenomenal, I'm not sure how they cook them but they are second to none! The best part is the service is amazing the staff is so kind and the price point is beyond reasonable especially for today's standards. I get my favorite the Plato Tipico for only $10.50 and I leave full and satisfied.

The heart warming note explaining that they didn't have anymore tamales de pollo, so they added extra pupusas. Classic Salvi hospitality.

It's overpriced For the food that you get and the taste is okay but I don't think it's worth the price

We started with the ensalada, which was refreshing and had just the right amount of sweetness. For pupusas, we ordered the revueltas, loroco con queso, and frijol con queso. We tried both corn and rice dough, and honestly, both were delicious. My personal favorite was the frijol con queso with the rice dough- so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The yuca frita was exactly how it should be: crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. The chicharrón was cooked perfectly as well, and the homemade green salsa that the sweet lady helping us made was the perfect addition. She was so kind, welcoming, and always had a friendly smile, which made the experience even better. Another thing that really stood out was how clean the restaurant is. It's spacious, with plenty of seating whether you're coming with a large group, your family, or just stopping by for a meal on your own. We absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back. Next time we're bringing my Salvadoran in-laws- I have a feeling this place will get their authenticity approval too! Spanish!

I've actually traveled to El Salvador before, so I've had the opportunity to experience the food there firsthand. Since coming back, I really haven't found many places that gave me that same authentic taste and feeling--until coming here. Everything we tried was amazing. The pupusas, beans, plantains, meats, and all the traditional flavors were on point. You can tell the food is prepared with that real homemade Salvadorian style. If you've been to El Salvador and know what authentic Salvadorian food is supposed to taste like, this place will bring back some memories. In my opinion, this is about as close as you're going to get without actually getting on a plane and going to El Salvador. Great food, authentic flavors, and definitely a place I'll be coming back to. Highly recommended!

I only ordered one pupusa because I wanted to test the waters before committing to a full meal, but that one pupusa was absolutely . I'm definitely going to have to make another trip back so I can give the rest of the menu a proper shot. First impression? Definitely a win.

I really wanted to like this place. This was my second time ordering from them through Uber Eats…read more The first time, I ordered because they were running a buy-one-get-one-free breakfast special. They forgot the cheese I paid extra for, but the food itself was so good that I was willing to overlook it and order from them again. Unfortunately, today's experience was completely different. The order took quite a while to prepare, which I don't blame on the delivery driver at all. I could see that he was waiting at the restaurant for an extended period, so I assumed they were just busy because of the promotion. When the food arrived, however, there were pieces of eggshell in the scrambled eggs. Even worse, while my boyfriend was eating his plátanos fritos, he found a hard piece of plastic in the food. Thankfully, he noticed it and was able to pull it out before swallowing it or getting hurt. I called the restaurant directly and also reported the issue to Uber Eats. I'm not writing this because I'm looking for free food or because I want to hurt a family-owned restaurant. I spent over $90 between the food, fees, and tip, and I ordered again because I genuinely enjoyed the food the first time. But finding hard plastic in someone's food crosses a line from an order mistake to a serious safety concern. Promotions and busy days happen, but food safety and basic quality control still have to come first. Unfortunately, after this experience, I would say eat here at your own risk. We were lucky enough to notice the plastic before someone was seriously hurt.
