I called Excel because it was one of three Angie's List recommended, and Karen - the office manager - said a technician would be out the next day. Even though Excel was the third Electrician I called, Victor was here the next day. I showed him the two problem switches/fans and then showed him my other fans (I have one in each room & 2 in the kitchen). The first wall switch he removed had suffered a short. He showed me the 'Flash Point' before removing the ceiling fan. He discovered that the fan had been wired improperly, and give me my acceptable options that conformed to FL code. I had to order the switches and adapter for inside the ceiling wiring (which Amazon was able to deliver in 2-days). So by the end of the week, the fans were working perfectly. When victor got to inspecting my bedroom fans, both had burned out the wall switches and the lights. That night I picked up two 3-blade fans. Three days later, I had all eight fans working perfectly. Florida Power & Light has been bombarding me with ads for a whole house surge suppressor. I had done some research and Victor showed me their 'top of the line suppressor. With the monthly charge that FPL would charge me each & every month, the suppressor Excel would install would pay for itself after 15-months. Needless to say, I found Excel Electrical to be excellent electricians. Their service is impeccable, their prices are competitive, and their work is thorough for the services they were hired to perform. I can't recommend Excel Electrical strongly enough! Thanks to Karen. Honest, reliable and fair priced A/C company? Yes, they do exist!…read more For the past three months we've had issues with our A/C not cooling despite being set to 65, causing moisture/mold in closets and hiking up our electric bill. In that time we had several A/C company's come out to "fix" the issue. Changed the compressor, added freon (several times) and lastly told me that 79 degrees is a normal temperature for a two story townhouse. We've lived here 3+ years and it's not normal... Finally, Abraham A/C was referred to us by another A/C company in West Palm Beach that doesn't service this far South. We explained the issues we've had and they were the only company who decided to climb up in the attic to see what was causing our house not to cool. They found an air duct that was pinched by a debris which caused the blockage. However the unit was still not cooling as much as it should. Our A/C unit wasn't big enough for our space and was still clogged and only working at about 50% so we agreed to change the unit. After pricing them out with other company's they came in at the lowest. Not to mention, they helped process the permits with the city and my HOA to replace the unit. Most of all the level of professionalism and patience during the entire process was second to none. Thank you Adam, Natalie, Jorge, Omar and everyone else at Abraham AC for fixing our AC and lowering our electric bill!

Less than two hours later, someone was trying to sell us a brand-new system. We weren't convinced and called a second company. Their technician quickly spotted the problem--our A/C just needed some Freon and a pipe tightened. They also pointed out that a wire had clearly been cut by the previous technician. The compressor he said was bad? Still working just fine even showed us the reading from the diagnostic machine when hooked up. Yes, our unit is old--but that doesn't give anyone the right to vandalize it just to push a sale. This felt manipulative and unethical. I would not trust Abraham's A/C under any circumstances.

The unit that was installed, broke in only 4 years. The product that was installed is not a good quality product.
