When I asked for even a rough idea of time or cost for a few small jobs, like replacing two light fixtures, checking an exterior outlet, and replacing a potentially hazardous wire in the attic, he was rude and dismissive. I used Happy Home up north plenty of times before with great satisfaction but this was my first time using them in southwest Broward and for such a big nasty job. Alex, Josh, Eddy, Matt , Mort, Joe, John, and Ronaldo all were very professional, clean, and efficient. They got four apartments powered back up after one of the meters exploded and put four new panels and wiring in like a nascar pit crew. Always upfront and honest. Terrific response and setup to be able to have everything they needed to do a job like this so fast.

When I bought my house I added in various high hats through out the house. The only problem is the bulbs I got were WAY too bright. I bought all the dimmers I wanted and using the Request A Quote option on Yelp reached out to Electricians On Call. I had an appointment set up in no time and the next day Jean arrived at my house. Jean was amazing. Super personable, apologized he was a few minutes late (but still within the window of time they gave me) because he had what seemed like a small job become a huge job right before me and explained everything he was doing for me as he installed three dimmers (and replaced a loose fuse. One of the dimmers connected to the outside lamp ended up being wired wrong and they came back the very next day to fix it. Awesome service and will use them again if I need any more electric work done.

And, in doing it the installer was on time, polite, cleaned up the mess, personable, etc. The price bid by "My Electrical Genie" was offered right away - they were the first to respond to my listing. And they responded with a price. Others didn't respond with a price even though my project was very specific, simple, and with pictures! The price was good in my opinion and notably far below the rip-off price proposed by another. I thought that getting the low price meant I wouldn't get the best of options for the install. I figured the "swag" wire coming from over the door sill would have to remain. But he got the wire hidden above the ceiling with just one hole that he patched up perfectly! I figured I'd have to repaint the ceiling, but he said, "Maybe not." It dried perfectly white like the rest of my ceiling! I don't have to repaint. I can't see where the hole he made was! I've owned my home for over two decades, and this has been the best project ever.
