Absolutely terrible experience with Abraham's A/C. The technician showed up and looked over the unit and within a minute told us our compressor was bad. Less than two hours later, someone was trying to sell us a brand-new system. We weren't convinced and called a second company. Their technician quickly spotted the problem--our A/C just needed some Freon and a pipe tightened. They also pointed out that a wire had clearly been cut by the previous technician. The compressor he said was bad? Still working just fine even showed us the reading from the diagnostic machine when hooked up. Yes, our unit is old--but that doesn't give anyone the right to vandalize it just to push a sale. This felt manipulative and unethical. I would not trust Abraham's A/C under any circumstances. read more

This was the first time that I used Abraham AC and Heating based on a referral from a friend/Realtor. A general check up on the HVAC equipment was requested and the technician, Rafael, was awesome!! He did find some issues which he explained in great detail as well as options on fixing what was wrong. The work he did was great and very much appreciated as well as reasonably priced. Sadly, Adam Soliman no longer owns this company. Now they are some sort of corporate monstrosity. The call takers read scripts and spout nonsense slogans. Their tech tried to sell me a condenser fan motor (a $300 part) for $1375 -the part, not the whole job! Then he tried to upsell me a whole new air conditioner. After being a loyal customer for 20 years, I really regret having to say that this company is no longer fit to do business with. read more

This company wasted an entire day for me today. I scheduled a diagnostic visit for 8-12 today. Since I hadn't heard anything by noonish I called only to find out the technician was running several hours behind and I would get an update soon. At 1:16pm I got a text saying the tech was on the way. At 1:43pm the tech called to say he was actually now on his way and would be here in 30 minutes. Needless to say that didn't happen and. at 2:03 the office called to tell me the technician had a flat tire, but don't worry they'll be here soon. After another hour or so with no update I called the office again at 3:13, they answer with any number of different company names and told me they were assigning. a new technician who was just finishing up another job and this one would be here within 45 more minutes. That tech did arrive and after checking the charge told me it was a couple pounds low, which is. what I told them to start with. after informing. me it would cost $379 to put the two pounds of Freon in the unit the tech went back to the outdoor unit only to figure out that his equipment was faulty and he was unable to complete the service. He suggested perhaps they could come back tomorrow ....so I could waste another entire day likely waiting for them to show up. so I called there office and asked to speak to a manager and was informed by the telephone operator that she would send a group text to the managers and someone would call me back.......tick toc tick toc... how long don't you suppose that would take to happen? As of 5pm. no call back from a manager. and, by the way the technician suggested I should pay for the entire service so they could come back tomorrow to complete it. I give you less than one chance in a million that I'm going to do that!, Bottom line folks, I'll never call Abraham or Hales or Climate Control or what're other names they use ever again. would. suggest everyone out there that values their time do the same. read more

I purchased an Air Conditioner from Climate Control in Palm Beach County Florida. I was having difficulty obtaining the completed permits and the final inspection from the Town of Palm Beach. Naomi was absolutely wonderful at facilitating its completion. She was extremely patient and provided me with status information to keep me in the loop. I have had an in going horrible experience with this company. They installed a new air conditioner for me 4 years ago. it has been continuous problems since it has been installed. technicians have come out multiple times to do repairs, each time charging large sums for the repairs. unfortunately, they have told me that parts are occasionally covered under the warranty but the labor is not. they charge me for an annual service which does not seem to be worth the cost. my annual service expired in July but they charged me in May to renew the service telling me it was already expired. they came out multiple times to repair the same issue, ultimately never repairing it. I've had multiple calls from them wanting to sell me duct cleaning, the most recent of which was last week. at that time, the caller confirmed that I was enrolled in the annual service contract and that I had not yet used the annual included inspection. this morning my ac is out again. I called the company and spoke with the rudest woman who continuously interrupted me, refusing to allow me to speak or ask questions. I asked to speak with the manager because the information she gave me was not logical and made no sense. the manager would not speak with me, however, the rude woman came back in the phone to tell me that the the tech who came out last year made a mistake I. setting up my annual service. however, they would do nothing to resolve this. she just went in to tell me that I would need to pay full price if they send someone out now. I have asked previously if they would assist I. working with the manufacturer, Carrier, to see why this unit need so many repairs. they will not assist with that at all. I am typically a loyal customer when I use any company. I have been loyal to this company for four years, despite all the issues. today I let them know I am going to look for another company. they couldn't care less. they have no interest in trying to resolve the continuous issues I have had with the unit they installed. if I were looking for an ac company today there is no way I would call this company. Here's an update to this review - I got a new company to come out and fix the ac. The fan blade had fallen off the motor - that must have been what was making the noise when they didn't fix it last summer! Now indeed a whole new motor and fan blade. Carrier is covering the parts under warranty but I must pay for the labor. I am very much wishing that I had never hired Abraham AC to install this system and service it for the last 4 years! read more

Had an issue with my air handler and leaking last night. Left a request on their Yelp page at 11pm last night and got a quick response. When I spoke to them this morning, the woman who answered was super friendly, attentive, and arranged for a tech to come to me immediately. Tech came out and was really awesome. Addressed the problem and was back up and running in no time. Very reasonably priced and joined their service contract for twice a year preventative maintenance. Well their stock just went down in my book, I bought a lemon of an air conditioner, service has been out multiple times. after about the fifth or sixth repair attempt, and this unit has not been working well since it was bought, at least one of the compressor stages isn't working correctly. This unit was misdiagnosed, the high-pressure switch was to disabled, but when is it going to get fixed? The ownership should've been proactive about doing that and not leaving this as an additional point of failure. Additionally, the owner promised they would be coordinating a unit function test and audit with Trane - they seem to have back paddled because I haven't heard anything. I was supposed to get information about an extended warranty, nope that hasn't come wither. More troubling is that they think it's OK that this unit remain inoperable since I haven't heard from anybody to get this fixed and I've been working through this issue for a number of consecutive days now. I'm leaving at two stars for now since maybe they just got temporarily overwhelmed. I don't like it when people don't do what they say they're going to do and that's a point I need to make here. read more

Needed to replace a 20-year old HVAC unit in my condo. Received five estimates from highly rated companies, and the Abraham offer, while not the cheapest, was the most thorough and professional. Kudos to their representative Michael who took the time to explain in detail how the work would be done. He also went out of his way (really) to help me get through some challenges posed by my HOA. The installation crew was on time, professional and left the apartment spotless. The equipment is top quality and I expect to get 15-20 years out of this install. Finally, kudos as well to Claudia in the office. She was most helpful with appointments and billing, and followed up after hours to ensure my satisfaction. Ownership is only worried about the mighty dollar even at the cost of customers. their prices are way too expensive. I was asked if i wanted to pull a permit for this job..I said YES...if some city person drove by or any neighbor called on me the job would be ripped out.. I thought there was no question as to pulling permits for any work done on your home. That kinda stuck in my craw a little. I also heard permits run around 300 for my city which I can say isnt true. Im having a new fence and new hurricane shutters installed and the permits were around 75 to 130 per permit...maybe i misunderstood what all the 300.00 covered permit wise.... I've used Abraham AC since 2009 they installed my unit gave me a recharge throughout the years and then when I called about my unit not working and told the lady who answered the phone the fan is not spinning at all and possibly needs a recharge she said no problem they'll get someone out there to take care of it on this date then the gentleman shows up to take care of it tells me that the fans not working like I already told them it wasnt and it can't be fixed and charges me $89 to remove four screws and put them back in and tell me what I already knew was wrong with the unit Let's just say they lost a customer because I feel like I was just robbed of my hard earned money and I'm still stuck with my family and children in a hot home read more

Never fails that on a long holiday weekend the AC stops cooling. Our outside unit was not working. We called Abraham AC Friday night around 7pm and they had a tech here by 830 the next morning. This review would be one star, however, the first technician that came to service our Ac (Adil) was fantastic. Unfortunately 6 months later he was no longer with the company. The next two times were a nightmare. The technician missed a filter and the other filter he replaced upside down. This does not sound like a huge deal but this is a Trane AC permanent filter so it actually caused some issues. Also, an hour after he "finished" the ac quit working. Mind you, this was only an6 month service call so this guy actually broke our ac. We had to wait until the next day for the "manager Shawn" to come and fix it. He said he needed to bypass a panel as it was not functioning properly, and this was the reason our ac didn't work. I called another company out as it was obvious these b guys didn't know what they were doing and I was worried that they caused more damage. When the other company came out they told us the filter was in upside down, the other filter was filthy, and there was nothing wrong with the panel except it was disconnected. When I called to complain and cancel my yearly service, Shawn could have cared less. So buyer beware especially if you have a Trane AC. I can understand why Adil left. Too bad as he was awesome. read more

Our AC started freezing over. We called Abraham AC and they were able to come out same day to diagnose the problem. Turns out, we needed a new condenser. We set up an install for the folllowing week. (They could have done it sooner, but we were going out of town for the holiday weekend). AC techs were friendly and knowledgeable. They contacted me immediately, were professional & eager to give me an estimate. They arrived when promised & after weeks of not hearing from them I decided to call them. I told them I never received an estimate & would like to know when they might contact me. The gentleman who went to my property called & apologized. He said he told my property manager to tell me that he "would not pull a permit for the job & if I wanted to it was fine." I advised him it was not the responsibility of my property manager to tell me but instead it was his. I've never heard of a company that doesn't follow up with the customer. I have dealt with Abraham since he opened I think, I first called them in 2005 or 06 and had them work on a split unit, Over the years I have recommended them to people and purchased several New Units from them for homes, I recently called them and they have been out 5 times now, I would love to get pissed off and bad mouth them, But I can't, They are polite, Back there work, Come back out and dont vanish , Fit me in immediately So I have to give them a good review . I bought a duplex in 2019. Abraham had installed the units initially so, I called them to do service. Appts were made and professional techs came out on time. We had discussions about the condition of both units and I signed Maintenance Agreements b/c it's just good sense. I've read all these reviews and folks should know that, if there is bad news on a unit, Don't Kill the Messenger! If you're unhappy, ask questions up front, do your own homework and deal with it. I got a new unit installed and bought it from them Around 2 years ago. Very nice when they trying to sell you something. But after you paid, their attitude is shxt! Hang up on you over the phone without saying goodbye, sometimes I don't even finish my question and they hang up the phone. The lady answered the phone always rude, nasty. This time, one of the part in the ac is broken and it's still under warranty, they charged me $400 for labor fee and did it with 10 minutes. Wow $400 for 10 minutes. AC stopped blowing cold air. Made an appointment and they arrived on time as they said. The tech was Danny and he was excellent. Turns out my unit just needed refrigerant. The job was straight forward and done efficiently. I appreciated the honesty and there was no upselling or trying to get me to buy anything I didn't need.
