From start to finish the whole experience was simple, smooth and seamless. We guess all those people that say buying a house is stressful and exhausting, don't have Steve Crossman working for them. Steve took our long wish list and entry level budget and somehow managed to work miracles! We bought our dream house, in a great neighborhood for our growing family, and had to make very few compromises on the property. We knew from the moment we walked into our house it was the one. However, we were unsure whether or not the sellers would agree in this competitive market. Steve had us write a personal letter to the sellers, and the house became ours. These are the personable touches that make Steve Crossman the best. Through the entire escrow process Steve always had our best interest in mind. He made sure that negotiations were fair and reasonable despite dealing with difficult sellers. He also made sure that we were not taken advantage of as first time home buyers. When a problem arose during the initial inspection, Steve called in a specialist for an accurate estimate of repairs. This is a man that goes above and beyond for his clients. There was never a moment during escrow that we were unsure of what was going on or what needed to be done. When Steve Crossman is your realtor he can reached 24/7. He makes himself available to his clients around the clock for showings, questions, concerns...you name it. He's thorough, timely and professional. Steve makes you feel like you are his only client, though we know otherwise (he's a top seller in the state). When we were ready to purchase our first home, we were told he's the best. So we put our confidence in him, and he exceeded all of our expectations. We hope you take our advice, and choose Crossman! He will make buying or selling your home a great experience that you will remember for a lifetime.

She was always ahead of whatever needed to be done. She emailed me my "needs list" and when I sent her a document she needed, she took it off the my needs list and sent me the revised needs list. She really was the glue that held everything together. Anyone who has ever gotten a loan knows that even under the best circumstances, it is a lot, there is a lot of paperwork, lots of details and in California especially a significant amount of money. I felt completely taken care of with Cheryl, she made sure that not only was her piece of the transaction done accurately, but so was everyone else's piece. It gave me a great deal of comfort to know that she was on my team, actually she was my team, it was smooth because of her efforts and expertise. Even after escrow she sent me a follow up email to remind me about the first mortgage payment, HOA and insurance, in addition to watch for a check that is supposed to be coming my way. Talk about dotting i's and crossing t's. I will, without any hesitation recommend her to anyone that I know who is looking for a loan. You will not be disappointed, you will be wowed with Cheryl. Thank you again Cheryl, you are top notch!

I had a very disappointing experience with this agent. Buying a home is a major financial decision,…read moreand I expected my agent to educate me about the process, help me evaluate potential issues, and most importantly, advocate for my interests as the buyer. Unfortunately, I did not feel that I received that level of support or care. Throughout the process of house hunting, I often felt that she was more focused on increasing the price range of the purchase than on helping me determine what was actually appropriate for my needs and budget. I felt that her personal preferences and opinions about what I should buy and what I could afford sometimes took priority over listening to what I actually wanted. More importantly, there were serious concerns during the transaction that I felt were not handled professionally. She seemed to impose her own preferences regarding the loan officer, the type of property, what she considered an appropriate price range, and what she believed I could or should afford, rather than my best interest. More importantly, during the transaction, there were concerns regarding mold and inconsistencies in the seller's representations. I expected my agent to help me investigate and understand the situation and make sure I was making an informed decision. Instead, I felt that she was more focused on defending the seller's position than helping me evaluate the situation. After the purchase was completed, we discovered mold in the property and other evidence that demonstrated that the sellers had misrepresented the condition of the property. I brought this evidence to her attention, but instead of taking my concerns seriously, she dismissed them and continued to defend the sellers. I was extremely disappointed by her response. What was particularly frustrating was that I had expected her to be my advocate just like any professional agent. Instead, I often felt that I had to do my own research, draw my own conclusions and figure out important issues or solutions on my own. Ultimately, I didn't feel that she was sufficiently objective, proactive, or reliable as a buyer's agent. I also did not feel that my interests were being prioritized. For me, trust and advocacy are essential qualities in a real estate agent. Unfortunately, I did not feel that I received either. Based on my experience, I would definitely choose a different agent if I were to purchase a home again. I hope that sharing my experience helps other buyers and sellers understand the importance of having a professional agent who will thoroughly educate them, listen to their concerns, and genuinely advocate for their interests throughout the transaction.
