    Our view!

This place was amazing!! The views are spectacular. We loved the large shower heads with the great water pressure! The rooftop had an unexpected feature....a step onto see-through glass so you can "walk above the street"!! Lily really took care of us, and everyone was super helpful and friendly!! Definitely recommend staying here!!

We had a lovely one night stay at the Arlo NoMad! While the service was... questionable, they did make up for the issues. Upon arrival, we were quickly checked in and went up to our room, only for someone to open the door 5 minutes later when they gave up the same room! My husband went down to address the issue and the front desk gave us a complimentary upgrade, 3 floors up, roomier, and with a superior view. We unfortunately had a bit of rain so the roof deck restaurant closed early, but we were still able to access the roof and had a nice time hanging out and taking in the views. As I knew ahead of time, this hotel is ALL for the views and the rooms are as minimal as you get, but for one night and epic views it was perfect!

I had an incredible check-in experience at Arlo NoMad thanks to Lilly, who was warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful. The staff overall were kind, professional, and the room was clean and comfortable. Initially, I felt disappointed because I was celebrating my birthday and, given the price of my stay, I expected a few more thoughtful touches or added value. However, after sharing my feedback, management reached out to me personally and handled the situation quickly and professionally. Mr. Monti was extremely kind, understanding, and genuinely cared about my experience. He listened, apologized, and made things right with genuine care. That level of customer service says a lot about a hotel. Because of how professionally this was handled, I would absolutely consider staying again.

First time staying at the Arlo Nomad in NYC, and I'm happy to stay that I'd love to reside there next time in the city. It's near Korea Town, a few metro stations, and a few parks. 20 minutes walking distance from Times Square and lots of other shops. It's a safe area around, especially to and from your destination walking. Awesome amenities from a cafe at the lobby and a middle eastern restaurants, cute post it wall to post your New York dreams, and stunning rooftop terrace and bar that gives a gaze toward the city and the Empire State Building. Major shoutout out to Keelan, Kevin, and, especially, Brianna, for the awesome customer support in checking me into the hotel and check out as well. Brianna was so energetic, accommodating, and a joy to help me with the hotel logistics. Like all NYC hotels, the space is on a smaller scale, but it provided a stunning corner view of the city. Upon entering, everything was clean from the bathroom, closet, and bedding. I slept comfortably each night with the centralized cooling and heating unit there. Great amount of towels, water provided, hair dryer, hangers, and steamer for your clothes. Great modern vibes that catch all's attention. Can't wait to stay here again! :)

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. You're walking distance to Koreatown, Bryant Park, and Penn Station. An influencer I follow on Instagram shared that she stayed here and shared a promo code, making it the cheapest Manhattan hotel I could find on short notice at $179-$226 a night (not including state and city fees, but it was still the cheapest with those fees.) There was no gym, but you could use one in the neighborhood. You also have 1 hour of riding an e-bike included in your room fee! The hotel has a coffee shop in the lobby as well as a restaurant and rooftop bar which is convenient. Rooms are pretty small, but it doesn't matter! On my first day, one of the elevators was broken--with only one running, everyone was late and it took forever to get to/from the lobby and your room.

Brianna deserves a raise as well as security personnel and other front desk associates and housekeeping! at least a pizza party for ALL, at the very least; you can admire the work they put in. The room is quaint, and I really liked the concrete showers and sinks. Of course the noise level is apparent in the halls due to the thin walls, so you WILL HEAR people's doors, but it's NYC. Comfy bed, and basic amenities. If you're looking for 5 star resort this isn't it, it's a boutique hotel right outside a busy area. Do what you will with that!

This place is often mentioned in Instagram reels for amazing views and is totally worth all the hype. My actual rating is 4.5 because of points 4 and 5 below. I visited this place in Nov 2022 and here is the summary of my experience there: 1. Location 6/5: What a location. This place is an absolute gem within walking distance from the Empire State Building (it can also be visible from your room in case you get one) and about a mile from Times Square. 2. Ambiance 5/5: The hotel has a great chic and urban vibe and a Mediterranean restaurant on the ground floor and a great rooftop on the 31st floor that presents a mesmerizing view of the Empire State Building at night. 3. Service 5/5: The staff was knowledgeable, courteous, and very helpful. They gave us great suggestions for sightseeing and which subway to take to go to all the touristy places plus they also had bike credits during our stay. We also had complimentary macaroons and soda when we entered the room which was very sweet of them 4. Room size 3/5: I know we have all heard about those amazing full-view glass rooms. The only problem is they are very small and you hardly have space for anything. Although, the small space is well-maintained and doesn't look cramped at all 5 Value for money 3/5: I came here on an official visit and had to book in a hurry but this place was really costly. I understand that everything in Manhattan is costly but I don't think I would be able to afford this place if it was not a business trip. Apart from this we also opted for the complimentary breakfast option which added to the tariff Overall completely recommended for the view on the rooftop and the location if it is within your budget. I hope I can come here again and visit other nearby places which I missed last time.

Beautiful view, the food was ok. I didn't get a drink because it was pricey for me. But it's normal prices for NYC. Great space on the roof and it was a gorgeous night.

What are the hours of the roof top bar in the winter? Is there any possibility of seeing New Years Eve fireworks from the roof?

No. It will be closed and you won't get to use it at all.

How closed is this hotel too time square and all the shopping such as shop Columbus circle or some shopping on broadway and also is it near a bus stop are do they have a shuttle or car to take you around pick up from airport?

6 train @ 33& Park / walk to Herald Square which has subways taking you everywhere /shopping Buses everywhere . Times Square - 20 min walk or a short Uber/Taxi or public transportation. Columbus Circle is a father as it is north of Times Square.…

Does this hotel have an ice machine?

No. They probably charge for ice.

How private are the in-room bathrooms? I'm thinking of staying here with my 10-year old nephew and obviously, we both need our privacy. It looks like there's just a frosted glass door?

The bathrooms are enclosed in frosted glass. I personally don't think it is private enough but I stayed alone.

For this Marriott the location is excellent if you are going to watch a show on Broadway. Very convenient for the play and also get a subway to anywhere else you have to go. The rooms are generally very nice and this hotel also has everything connected and controlled through a tablet which is very appealing to me. They also have a nice bar right in the hotel that is open till late. The only downside is the size. Now hotels in major cities like this like New York or Tokyo are small and pricey. Two things that can sort of negatively affect your opinion but considering they are all like that in the area, you have to compare accordingly. The only real downside for me is that the toilet is literally next to to the shower to the point that you could shower while using the toilet (I took a picture of my hand holding the shower handle on top of the toilet seat as a joke) and the sink is outside to wash your hands after using the restroom. I feel that they could have done a better design for this to avoid it. It didn't appeal to me and it's the only thing keeping me from giving this hotel 5 stars. I will probably stay here again when I go to watch another play.

You enter on the first floor, but the lobby is on the sixth floor. I was having flashbacks to Tokyo... There are four elevators, and when I checked in, the place was packed. Some event must have been going on because getting an elevator was an adventure (a sad one). It didn't help that everyone had to take an elevator just to reach the lobby, then another to get to their room. Fortunately, I was only on the ninth floor...so I got my steps in. The room itself was mostly ok. One thing I really didn't like was the air conditioning. It wouldn't cool below 68 degrees. I despise hotels that throttle the A/C. I'd get warm, the air would finally kick on, I'd be comfortable for about ten minutes...then the cycle would repeat all night. Another thing that caught me off guard was the ceiling. Maybe they're going for an industrial look, but it was basically unfinished concrete. Other than those complaints, everything else in the room was perfectly acceptable, and for a one night stay, it did the job.
