We stayed here in a King Bedroom over a weekend and it was a pleasant experience. First of all, the location is amazing; everything is in a walking distance. You walk fir literally 2 minutes and you get to the subway station. Macy's is very close; lots of food options; Korean food options right beside the hotel and many famous bagel shops at a walking distance. The staff are very friendly and helpful; they even changed our $100 bills for us. Rooms are typical NYC style; small, but clean and they have provided you with everything you need; shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, hair dryer, iron, enough hangers in the closet. It's also quiet and comfortable. There's a rooftop bar, that's open during patio season. I definitely recommend staying here.

We had a Christmas event in their lounge. The ambiance was very nice, cozy and easy to mingle, all the appetizers were great and the servers were too.

All of us loved our stay here, I slept so well on my own soft bed but hubby said his was firmer than he liked . The room was very clean & amply supplied with Keurig coffee & supplies . Nice tv and very roomy. Excellent air quality & no off smells . Excellent water pressure & temperature. Bathroom was medium size, tall ceiling was nice - rough tiled floor with rough tiled walkout shower so no worry of slipping. The towels were long & wide , big win for us tall folks! Could've used another stand alone dresser in room and maybe add more towel hooks in bathroom. We stayed in the family room with our adult son & he slept very well in his own room ! Excellent daily housekeeping service. Nice espresso, coffee & water room on 2nd floor . No breakfast included but plenty of eateries nearby . Very friendly and helpful front desk and maintenance. Will love to go back if we can ! Forgot to mention they have an open rooftop bar and lookout which is very nice but bar not open in the winter.

We stayed at the Kixby for three nice in brisk January. The location is great. It's just off the 35th street metro and easy access to Penn Station and Grand Central. It's also walking distance to the shows on Broadway and lots of shopping. Macy's is just across the street. The hotel is nice. It's older and shows some signs of it with the wear on the windows and the cool temps coming off them, especially in the bathroom. I wish it had blackout curtains and provided ear plugs. Our room was overlooking the courtyard but we could still hear the sirens. I like that instead of water, they gave us water bottles and have a cool water filling station. They also have a fancy coffee bar...but it's only open 1-8 for coffee? Random. Least favorite was the $35 a day "resort fee." Why? There's no pool and no services. Just an extra $100 tacked on for no reason? The room was nice and big, but the closest showed how old the property is. Depending on rates, I would stay here again.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++ O V E R A L L +++++++++++++++++++++++++ I liked this place, it is right next to a subway station. The location is great! It is newly renovated so it feels very modern and clean. The best part: the price was actually reasonable! +++++++++++++++++++++++++ A M B I A N C E +++++++++++++++++++++++++ There is a nice lobby with SUPER high ceilings. There are four couches which often have people there, waiting for their luggage or something. The stairways are really narrow and steep, just warning you. But taking the stairs is often faster than the elevator, depending on what floor you stay on hahaha. The hallways are a little dark, the accent colors are dark. +++++++++++++++++++++++++ F R O N T D E S K +++++++++++++++++++++++++ It was a small open reception desk. They are really sweet here! Very helpful! They explained every amenity very clearly! +++++++++++++++++++++++++ R O O M +++++++++++++++++++++++++ // Bedroom There is a long table combined with desk and a swivel desk chair. On the table there was a coffee station with pods and cups. There is a closet with bathrobes and an umbrella for you to use if you need it. There was also an arm chair with a small table. Two nightstands flanking the bed. The bed was comfortable. The room felt light and open maybe a little cold because there is no carpet it was wood floor. // Bathroom This is a narrow bathroom, but well appointed! I love how many towels they gave us, more than enough! It was a basic shower, no tub. +++++++++++++++++++++++++ A M E N I T I E S +++++++++++++++++++++++++ // Gym There is a gym but you have to ask the front desk to open it for you and it is on the second floor. // Continental Breakfast There is also a room on the second floor with free continental breakfast that includes coffee and tea and orange juice and snacks like granola bars, fruit, muffins. It is a grab and go situation because there is nowhere to sit. Once the time for breakfast is over, the room becomes a coffee and tea station. But I was in here when the breakfast time was over and no one came in to do anything so I guess it is really flexible. Who knows how long the coffee sits there but the hot water is appreciated! // Rooftop Bar I am sad I didn't go to the rooftop bar it sounded beautiful and even though the bar is closed the roof is open. Missed opportunity! Next time I am in NY!

Wow great experience, Abdullah was so helpful! I left a bag behind, he went all the extra miles to make sure that I got all my property back! Thank you Abdullah and the Kixby!

Friends thought we were a lil crazy for bringing two kids to Manhattan, but it ended up being such a special trip for us, and the Park Hyatt was a huge part of that. The hotel is beautiful, from the gorgeous floral arrangements throughout the property to the calm, elegant atmosphere. Our room was incredibly spacious, which felt like a true luxury in New York, especially with a stroller, luggage, SNOO and everything that comes with traveling with a newborn. Having that extra space made the entire trip feel easier. One of our favorite parts of the stay was the indoor pool. We took the boys swimming almost every night, and it became our little ritual. They loved it, and those evening swims are still some of my favorite memories from that trip. The location was perfect for a family stay. We walked to Central Park, FAO Schwarz, Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, Columbus Circle, and so many nearby restaurants, coffee shops, and stores. Being able to explore for a few hours, come back to the hotel to rest, and then head back out again made New York feel surprisingly easy. Now, two years later, our boys are older and we're planning another New York trip. I've been looking at hotels, but I keep coming back to the Park Hyatt because of how special that first stay was for our family. It would be pretty amazing to bring the boys back, let them swim in that pool again, and experience the hotel at a different stage of their childhood. The Park Hyatt will always have a special place in our family's New York memories.

We spent 4 nights on a short vacation trip to NYC. The staff at checkin were very friendly and helpful. The bar and breakfast staff were very accommodating and also very friendly. We love breakfast here, starts the day off with great coffee drinks and as much protein as you can handle. The rooms, so far have been consistent. They are like compartment spaces, with what you need: a bed by the window, a cool shower enclosure, a couple cabinets for storage, and a sink with soaps and shampoos to start the day or end the day right. This location is very convenient to TS, subway stops, and all the shops your heart could hope for. CitizenM is our hotel of preference now.

I had booked the majority of my trip at another hotel, but I needed an extra night and used Marriott points for this stay. Overall, I thought it was a great place to stay. The location was very central, but it was not in the most crowded part of Times Square which I appreciated. It was a little hard to find at first because of nearby construction, but once I arrived, everything felt convenient and easy to access. The staff was relaxed, friendly, and helpful during check-in. I arrived around 1:00 PM, and my room was not ready yet, but once it was available, staff members were helping guests check in using the computers. The hotel has a very modern, tech-forward feel. The room included an iPad that controlled the lights, colors, and other settings, which gave the space a futuristic vibe. The room itself was very clean and felt pretty spacious for a New York hotel. The sheets and bathroom were clean, and I felt like I had everything I needed for a short stay. I also felt like it was a good value. I used about 58,000 Marriott Bonvoy points for the night, and New York hotels can easily run anywhere from about $200 to $500 per night depending on the date. Since I stayed on a weekday, that may have helped with the overall value. The next day, relocating to my other hotel was simple because the area was so central. As a Gold member, I also received late checkout, although I ended up leaving earlier than I needed to. The only thing that stood out was hearing another guest complain about the staff, which surprised me because my own experience had been very positive.

It feels fresh and updated, which was exactly what we wanted. Our room was surprisingly spacious for Manhattan, easy to get around in, and very comfortable. The restaurant Jams on the first floor is also great, and nice to be able to have a delicious meal right at the hotel. Excellent food and coffee - we went for both breakfast and dinner here. You enter on the first floor, but the lobby is on the sixth floor. I was having flashbacks to Tokyo... There are four elevators, and when I checked in, the place was packed. Some event must have been going on because getting an elevator was an adventure (a sad one). It didn't help that everyone had to take an elevator just to reach the lobby, then another to get to their room. Fortunately, I was only on the ninth floor...so I got my steps in. The room itself was mostly ok. One thing I really didn't like was the air conditioning. It wouldn't cool below 68 degrees. I despise hotels that throttle the A/C. I'd get warm, the air would finally kick on, I'd be comfortable for about ten minutes...then the cycle would repeat all night. Another thing that caught me off guard was the ceiling. Maybe they're going for an industrial look, but it was basically unfinished concrete. Other than those complaints, everything else in the room was perfectly acceptable, and for a one night stay, it did the job.

The Library Hotel is every bit as charming as people say, but what really makes it special is the team. Housekeeping was so gracious and helpful throughout my stay, the bartender at Bookmarks very kindly helped my friend carry our drinks down to the room, and checkout took less than 30 seconds. Every interaction was warm, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming. The themed rooms are such a fun touch (I loved seeing how each one was inspired by a different subject), but I also have to give a shout-out to the practical things. I took a few work video calls from my room on the 12th floor, and the Wi-Fi was ridiculously good - honestly stronger than the Wi-Fi in my own house when I'm sitting five feet from the modem. And finally, a standing ovation for the real MVP: the air conditioning.
