Hair in the shower!
Cielo V.

Extremely disappointing, especially considering we paid around $7,000 for our stay. First of all, the room is extremely small, which would already be something I could overlook if the rest of the experience were good. However, there is an emergency light right next to the bed that constantly turns on and off, making it extremely difficult to sleep. For a hotel at this price point, this should absolutely not be an issue. Then, when I went to take a shower, I found a bunch of BLACK HAIR in the shower. I am blonde, and we had literally just arrived at the hotel, so there is no question that it was not ours. I have a picture of this because it was honestly disgusting. We also tried to watch something on the TV, only to find out that it is not a smart TV and that they charge $25 just to watch a movie. Again, for a hotel costing $7,000 for our stay, this is ridiculous. And then, to make matters worse, we found a COCKROACH in the room. I unfortunately do not have a picture of the cockroach, but I do have a picture of the hair in the shower. We immediately brought all of these concerns to the front desk. We were told that the manager was busy but would contact us. He never did. Not even a phone call to the room, a message, or any attempt to speak with us.I am still currently staying at this property and have THREE MORE DAYS here, and so far, nobody has done anything to address these issues. That is what makes this even more frustrating. We paid a significant amount of money expecting a clean, comfortable, and properly managed hotel, and instead we have had to deal with dirty bathrooms, an insect in the room, a room that is difficult to sleep in, and absolutely no follow-up from management. This has been disgusting and extremely disappointing. For the amount we paid, the level of cleanliness, service, and attention to guests should be completely different. I really hope management takes this seriously, because so far, they have given us no reason to feel that they do.

Great service overall and clean amenities. Food at the cafe downstairs is also healthy and tasty. I'd definitely stay here again!

-First Impression- Gorgeous exterior. Attentive, and polite dorman helped me with by bags before I even got in the door. I felt so important, lol -Food- Fresh fruit in the lobby. I didnt order anything to my room or try thr restaurant -Service- Very friendly staff. Everyone welcomed me with a smile every time I walked in, and wished me a good day every time I walked out. Emerson checked me in and was able to upgrade me to a larger room which was greatly appreciated since I'm an overpacker lol -Price- Nothing in New York is cheap, but I was able to get the upgrade which made me feel better about what I paid lol -Did Not Like- There was a coffee maker in the room that I wasn't familiar with, took some googling and a decent sized mess to get it figured out, lol -Noteworthy- Ecofriendly! -Recommended?- Yes. I'd love to stay in a suite!

A gorgeous hotel to stay at if you find yourself in Manhattan. I have to admit, I discovered 1 Hotel from the many gals I follow on YouTube and TikTok - it seems very trendy right now! So I had to try it out for myself. The clean and rustic smell in the lobby alone will draw you in and make you want to stay! Overall, it's worth the hype. Our room was gorgeous with 10/10 views. The shower was magical (I think my fiancé and I each took about 3 showers a day) because the soap smelled incredible and the water pressure was *chef's kiss* I really appreciate how they have filtered water throughout the whole hotel. I drank the tap water often and it was great, I didn't have any concerns. This is a huge plus in Manhattan. My one qualm - we were charged an "amenities fee" each day, but what were the amenities?? There's no pool, no spa. We were rather confused by this. Seemed like a cheap way for an expensive hotel to make a buck. In any case, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again. See photos for all the lovely feels!

We walked into the 1 Hotel Central Park after an early morning flight, stepped in from a busy New York City sidewalk to a practical forest in the middle of the city. Plants everywhere, amazing smells, kind people. The kindest and most helpful of all was Chris at the front desk. Incredible service, kindness and attention to detail exudes from this man. You will be in good hands if you come stay here, from Chris to the rest of the staff they are ready to make your stay remarkable. A green oasis in a grey city!

Love the warmth and location of this hotel. It is located near Central Park, and an easy walk to luxury stores. I could literally see Central Park from our window. There is a Starbucks across the street from the hotel, and restaurants within walking distance too. Meat Market restaurant is literally across the street. The outside of the hotel has lush green plants, as well as the lobby. Our room also had beautiful plants, and wood accents. The hotel has a water filtration system for the showers and faucets. It is really an earth friendly place. They do have a restaurant/bar on sight, though due to the Yelp reviews we explored elsewhere. There are a couple of spots to sit in the lobby that is relaxing too. The room was clean, and the employees were efficient. I would stay here again. Also, since this area is not in the busy downtown area, it is not loud with traffic in the early morning. Enjoy!!

It was a great experience. I loved all of the greenery in the hotel restaurant. They offered an upgrade and free drinks as it was my birthday. Overall and nice experience.

Some highlights for me were the apples in the room (the big apple), the postcards they'd mail for you, a celebratory champagne/chocolate strawberries (we just got married this year), a picnic blanket they let us borrow for the park, a mirror tv bathroom, the heated floors, the location and the view. The concierge ways always there to help us with any questions or requests we had. We loved the picnic blanket they found us for the park. They also gave us a few food recommendations. Friends thought we were a lil crazy for bringing two kids to Manhattan, but it ended up being such a special trip for us, and the Park Hyatt was a huge part of that. The hotel is beautiful, from the gorgeous floral arrangements throughout the property to the calm, elegant atmosphere. Our room was incredibly spacious, which felt like a true luxury in New York, especially with a stroller, luggage, SNOO and everything that comes with traveling with a newborn. Having that extra space made the entire trip feel easier. One of our favorite parts of the stay was the indoor pool. We took the boys swimming almost every night, and it became our little ritual. They loved it, and those evening swims are still some of my favorite memories from that trip. The location was perfect for a family stay. We walked to Central Park, FAO Schwarz, Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, Columbus Circle, and so many nearby restaurants, coffee shops, and stores. Being able to explore for a few hours, come back to the hotel to rest, and then head back out again made New York feel surprisingly easy. Now, two years later, our boys are older and we're planning another New York trip. I've been looking at hotels, but I keep coming back to the Park Hyatt because of how special that first stay was for our family. It would be pretty amazing to bring the boys back, let them swim in that pool again, and experience the hotel at a different stage of their childhood. The Park Hyatt will always have a special place in our family's New York memories.

We spent 4 nights on a short vacation trip to NYC. The staff at checkin were very friendly and helpful. The bar and breakfast staff were very accommodating and also very friendly. We love breakfast here, starts the day off with great coffee drinks and as much protein as you can handle. The rooms, so far have been consistent. They are like compartment spaces, with what you need: a bed by the window, a cool shower enclosure, a couple cabinets for storage, and a sink with soaps and shampoos to start the day or end the day right. This location is very convenient to TS, subway stops, and all the shops your heart could hope for. CitizenM is our hotel of preference now.

I had booked the majority of my trip at another hotel, but I needed an extra night and used Marriott points for this stay. Overall, I thought it was a great place to stay. The location was very central, but it was not in the most crowded part of Times Square which I appreciated. It was a little hard to find at first because of nearby construction, but once I arrived, everything felt convenient and easy to access. The staff was relaxed, friendly, and helpful during check-in. I arrived around 1:00 PM, and my room was not ready yet, but once it was available, staff members were helping guests check in using the computers. The hotel has a very modern, tech-forward feel. The room included an iPad that controlled the lights, colors, and other settings, which gave the space a futuristic vibe. The room itself was very clean and felt pretty spacious for a New York hotel. The sheets and bathroom were clean, and I felt like I had everything I needed for a short stay. I also felt like it was a good value. I used about 58,000 Marriott Bonvoy points for the night, and New York hotels can easily run anywhere from about $200 to $500 per night depending on the date. Since I stayed on a weekday, that may have helped with the overall value. The next day, relocating to my other hotel was simple because the area was so central. As a Gold member, I also received late checkout, although I ended up leaving earlier than I needed to. The only thing that stood out was hearing another guest complain about the staff, which surprised me because my own experience had been very positive.

It feels fresh and updated, which was exactly what we wanted. Our room was surprisingly spacious for Manhattan, easy to get around in, and very comfortable. The enormous floor-to-ceiling windows were so awesome , the city views were incredible and really gave you that quintessential New York experience. One of the biggest highlights was the room and bathroom layout--both were incredibly spacious, especially by New York standards where square footage is usually at a premium. You enter on the first floor, but the lobby is on the sixth floor. I was having flashbacks to Tokyo... There are four elevators, and when I checked in, the place was packed. Some event must have been going on because getting an elevator was an adventure (a sad one). It didn't help that everyone had to take an elevator just to reach the lobby, then another to get to their room. Fortunately, I was only on the ninth floor...so I got my steps in. The room itself was mostly ok. One thing I really didn't like was the air conditioning. It wouldn't cool below 68 degrees. I despise hotels that throttle the A/C. I'd get warm, the air would finally kick on, I'd be comfortable for about ten minutes...then the cycle would repeat all night. Another thing that caught me off guard was the ceiling. Maybe they're going for an industrial look, but it was basically unfinished concrete. Other than those complaints, everything else in the room was perfectly acceptable, and for a one night stay, it did the job.

The Library Hotel is every bit as charming as people say, but what really makes it special is the team. Housekeeping was so gracious and helpful throughout my stay, the bartender at Bookmarks very kindly helped my friend carry our drinks down to the room, and checkout took less than 30 seconds. Every interaction was warm, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming. The themed rooms are such a fun touch (I loved seeing how each one was inspired by a different subject), but I also have to give a shout-out to the practical things. I took a few work video calls from my room on the 12th floor, and the Wi-Fi was ridiculously good - honestly stronger than the Wi-Fi in my own house when I'm sitting five feet from the modem. Not a second of lag. The TV also had a ton of premium channels, which was such a fun surprise after long days exploring the city. And finally, a standing ovation for the real MVP: the air conditioning. New York was basically a sauna while I was there, and every time I walked back into my room I was greeted by the most glorious arctic blast. It was so good that my friends ended up wanting to hang out in my room and order dinner instead of going back out into the heat. Perfect stay from beginning to end. I can't wait to come back.
