When I followed up to schedule the work a week later, he told me that they couldn't even look at the schedule for a few weeks because they were busy with storm damage. I followed up again two weeks later and got no response, and nothing since. I started this process almost 2 months ago and am no closer to getting my trees trimmed than I was when I started. If you want a quick estimate, call these guys. If you'd like someone to actually do the work, try someone else.

I have used County tree service many times over the last several years and I just cannot say enough…read moregood about them. My first experience was to have a 60-year old pine tree removed and base plus roots completely stumped. They gave me the best quote of the 4 I sought and when the day came they had all the right equipment and personnel. In what seemed no time, those men had my tree down and all the evidence of its existence in a truck being hauled somewhere. I' once used them to clean up many substantial downed branches and things after a mini-tornado. Not only was the service impeccable, but what I really appreciated was their quote. Other contractors were gouging but they gave me a fair price that was better than everybody else's Another job they did, also the biggest job they did for me included taking out a massive 60-year old Oak, and various bushes and trees that ran along 3 sides of my yard. This large job took the entire day but they cleared every bush and stumped every root well into the evening until the job was done. (before and after pics attached) Through all of this, the business owners have been incredibly easy to deal with. I just called and stated what I needed done and they either came out for a quote or gave me one over them phone. I've also recommended them to two family members that went on to hire them and both were immensely pleased. If you have a tree job that you need to get done, do me a favor and give these guys at County tree service a call. They've been so good to me and those I sent to them. None of that usual contractor game-playing and b.s. and that has earned them my repeated business over the years.

On June 24,2026 at 6:51 p.m. a major wind blew thru our yard. We were not home at the time. There…read morewas severe damage throughout our neighborhood and along the gas line adjacent to the back of our property. We had a silver maple tree in our back yard that had to be 100 years old. We have lived here since 1976. Brown Tree service had cleaned and trimmed our trees 4 times over the years. The wind that blew through ripped off 4 major branches 12-18 inches in diameter. 2 landed in our garden bed on top of our potatoes, 1 landed on our fence, and 1 landed on another garden bed of ours. Our tree was not diseased at all. In fact, the branches that were ripped off looked very healthy. We called our Aborist, Ken Brown that night. When he was able to get back to us (about a half hour) he'd be here by 6:30 the next morning. He was true to his word. He walked out back, surveyed the damage and said that this was going to be a removal, not a salvage. He said he would have a crew on site within an hour. Again he was true to his word, the crew was "johnny on the job". The crew worked so well together. They also had to take care of another tree that had also lost a branch but just needed minor cleanup. Ken was by several times while they were working. It took all day but the clean up was fantastic. He told us that because of the other tree damage around the area he would be back the following week to grind out the stump. Once again, on the following Wednesday, his man showed up and really ground out the stump. He was here for three hours making sure that the stump was ground out almost a foot below ground level. Ken Brown has always done a professional job maintaining our trees and did a superlative job. We plan to replace our tree this fall after consulting with Ken. We wouldn't trust anyone else to do it. I really appreciate the care she takes in assessing what needs to be done--she clearly knows her stuff. The crew that came out recently to trim shrubs, bushes, and trees, as well as remove a few, did outstanding work. They were efficient, respectful of the property, and left everything looking clean and well-maintained. Carlos, the site manager (I think that is his job title), was very receptive to listening to my requests and effectively communicating them to his team. I also want to mention that the woman who handled scheduling and spoke with me on the phone (sorry, I didn't get her name) was very professional and kind, making the whole process smooth from start to finish. Montoya Tree Service continues to be my go-to, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for expert, dependable tree care.
