I'll start off by saying that my dad and I have been visiting Larry's for a couple of years. I've…read morealways wanted a Harley and after my brother passed who was a Huge Harley guy, I wanted one. We were drawn to the Veteran Friendly Environment and Cheryls inviting manor. So when it came time to buy a New to me Harley we decided to go to them. When I decided to buy a 2002 Sportster that's when things got more than a little weird. The 14 or 15 year old put in charge of cleaning my bike walked up to me and said the bike was too hot to clean and was trying to get out of cleaning it. Cheryl apologized for the inconvenience and had it washed while we waited a few hours for it to happen. We leave with the bike. A few days later I notice it being sluggish and seemed to misfire. This is my first bike so i wasn't sure what it could be, only that i knew something wasn't right. I Immediately called Larry's to inform them that there must be an issue with it. I was informed by someone working there that the head mechanic would get ahold of me to talk about it. When i was contacted I tried explaining the issue to him. Before I could finish what I was saying I was told I didn't know what I was talking about and that it was fine and was put through the shop. So I let it go for a couple more days until the bike was definitely having a major issue. It was misfiring, back firing, and dying on the side of the road. I then talked to Wesley whom said he would talk to the shop and have someone call me. Well that day never came. Its now 10 months later and now has been too two HD shops to figure out the issue and have spent $600 at the last shop before today dropping it off at Arkport HD which who knows what it'll end up costing not to mention not being able to ride it no more than 100 miles and paying 4200 for a pile of metal before tax and tags. I LOVE my bike. But it's just a pile of metal at another shop that's going to continue to drain my pocket. Moral of the story DO NOT BUY HERE!!! Especially if you're a younger gal or guy, they will walk all over you with a pretty smile and then unleash their shop hounds to Harass you, blame you, and never fix the issue. I've had to bite my tongue to hold back tears with what this purchase has done to me financially and spiritually. I cannot believe they can still operate as a HD Franchise and treat people the way they do. Not even worth the one star it takes too make this review.

If you value your machine, DO NOT take it to this place. I took my ATV there in July for an oil…read morechange and tune up. I was running fine when I took it there. When I went to pick it up the owner had a difficult time starting it. He said because it was sitting outside for a few days. When I got the machine home, it would not start at all. I contacted him that it would not start, and he said he was now busy and said I could bring it back in a couple of weeks. I took it back and he said there was bad gas in it (I had just put new non-ethanol in it). He said he had to drain the tank and clean the fuel lines, clean the carburetor, and put a new spark plug in it. I took the machine home, and it still would NOT start. I contacted him again ( he doesn't answer his phone, he only replies to text messages). Again, he said he was busy, and he'd get back to me when I could bring it in. I asked if he had some obligation to look at my machine since it's not running after 2 trips to his place. His response was, "Just because I touched it does not mean that I caused the problem." To the contrary, I got fed up with this guy's bull and took it to a very reputable dealer in the area. Their service department looked at the machine, and the next day called me and said the carburetor had been taken off but was not placed back into the machine properly which was the primary no start problem. They also said the spark plug was at least a couple of years old and was definitely NOT a new plug. When I told them who did the work, they said I was not the first person to bring a machine to them after 716 motorsports had "worked on it". 716 Motorsports charged me for a spark plug he never replaced and labor he had not provided. On the invoice he had charged me for a spark plug installation and testing. I my opinion, he is an incompetent mechanic, a liar and a thief. And the final word, he sent me a text on Sept. 26, 2 months after I first brought it in, asking me if I'd like to bring it back. HA HA, NEVER AGAIN!!!

He's definitely helped me out when in a bind and answers his phone on nights/weekends, unlike most modern day mechanics who work a 9-5. Highly recommend Gerard & 716 Motorsports for all of your vehicle/small motor repairs!
